Yu Hua loses his job, and the weight of the household falls on the shoulders of his partner, You Zhengping. 

His husband is a temporary employee at the subdistrict office, with a monthly salary of only 2500; this troubles Yu Hua exceedingly.

You Zhengping is secretly engaged in the work of protecting the world from Destroyers, with a rather liberal subsidy.

I read this book in one week or less. The story is so interesting that I always wanted to see what's going on. The characters were well written, they were not perfect but that's made them more real. The plot was on the point, I really liked the MC and ML and the supporting characters. Everything made sense and I might read again some chapters for the pleasure.

What a great read! Super fun novel and love the author humorous, and entertaining writing. The whole story is so fascinating. The characters the world buildings, the background story all comes together brilliantly. Thank you translator also for your excellent translation. I won’t say much because there’s alots of reviews. I just love all the characters to bits. They all so adorable.. I love transmigrated and qt stories, which this novel brings in a new perspective regarding transmigrated peoples and world. Love it.. The plots and twists was very good..I like this couple very much and the novel was very funny..I like ML's and MC's attitude towards power and towards everything.. It was very intresting to read until the end...I wish if they have power of law and can travel to various world's together..

Pretty fun so far. There is company abuse but that is not really something to be too serious about. But if it's not something you like to see then I don't suggest reading this as its pretty common in here.

So far the story focused on a lot of characters that I felt like the climax does feel a bit lacking or rushed. However I like that we do get to like a lot of these side characters. It is full of charm and fun that I think even if there... more>> are some flaws in the story that it is memorable enough to make it your personal favorite.

MC and ML development I think was satisfying. MC being the most powerful being that only care for ML. And ML who loves MC very much that he wants to protect what MC values most.

MC is some what you can say but ideal and not ideal kind of man in relationship. But ML is the kind of man that MC needed the most. It's pretty much about these two as they deal with the incoming danger as well as bonding deeper with their new understanding of each other.

Really good when you want to enjoy kinda like a bit of dog food but also a lot of action included. <<less

Okayy first off don't give up this book by just reading first 30 chapters because I thought to give up it and it starts pretty boring but once after that nice flow of story and then some reviews are like ML was like cannon fodder only MC is very OP and powerful blah blah reallyyyy did we read the same book because YZ (ML) is also powerful and he doesn't want to always depend on YH (MC) except back strength exercises 😏 but in my view only one issue is... more>> there that is...... why there is noo detailed exercises 😫 and there is not even detailed kiss sceneeeee in this book even though they are already married............ <<less

It’s a high 4 for me. I really like the setting/worldbuilding of this novel. It feels more fleshed out than a lot of BL novels on this site that simply gloss over it.

MC is a bit of a yandere, although he has a good reason for it. ML was amusing, he gives me shounen protagonist vibes. Although unfortunately that’s not my favorite kind of protagonist, I understand that his personality type is necessary to make the story work. He’s a bit reckless and headstrong, and honestly a bit naive, but... more>> it all works out in the end.

The Happy Ending made smile. Definitely a novel you shouldn’t pass up.

P.S. My favorite parts are the fight scenes and also MC messing with his s*aves employees <<less

This story was epic. I loved it. Everything about it was so dynamic and it always made me want to see what happens next. I also loved the characters and the relationships between them and how by the end of the story everyone has grown.

Amazing. First of all, translation is top notch as always. (E. Danglars is one of my fave translators!!) This novel tells the typical story of two OP characters fighting an enemy larger than the world itself, but the execution is far from being typical. Both characters are equally strong and independent, and I really love how they have unconditional trust in each other. I really love it.

The characters are great, and I specially like the main character.

I'm not usually found of black bellied characters since I just feel like they're fake, but MC is actually very genuine and hardworking. He's been through a lot but instead of allowing himself to become the [overbearing male yandere do everything the way I want or i'll kill you] type of blackened protagonist, he's aware of his distorted views that come from his past experiences and tries his best not to let the unhealthy tendencies rule his... more>> life and his relationship. You just know he genuinely loves, cares about and respects his partner a lot.

That being said, the contrast between how he treats the ML and how he treats others is actually funny and it doesn't feel out of place or forced.

The main couple is already married from the beginning but the story still serves relationship growth.

Aside from that we've also got:

- Likeable side characters

- Well written action and conflict

- Consistent and well thought out background development

- Everything is tied up, no loose ends

- You feel like it'd make sense if either were gong or shou, and that's something I really like, since it feels a bit more real to me <<less

This is the perfect combination of romance, action, comedy and plot. Usually, for the sake of romance and comedy, the plot is sacrificed. But this story has an amazing plot with no holes while also being full of fluff! Although the story starts with misunderstandings, they don't cause any kind of setback to their relationship. Everything has a proper reason and reaches its conclusion by the end.

Loved it, ML and MC don't have the tipical "husband-wife" stereotipical relationship most BL have, they're both awesome, powerful and love each other.

Super sweet but not too much, funny, well writen and no loose plot or things left to the readers imagination, the author does the work and explains every single things within the plot or the extras and I really apreciate it.

Great in all aspects, Def would read again and maybe again afther that.

It is soooooo damn cute. At first, I thought the MC was the shou and the ML is the gong but I think near to the second half it kind of mentioned that it's actually the opposite. Not that I really mind cause honestly the both of them seemed to be a gong. The romance between them is so cute and innocent. Like they just want to live with each other peacefully and everything.

I think the plot is really well done. Every character has their own unique points and charms... more>> which contributed to the story. Plus it isn't really like any other transmigration story so I think it's quite interesting.

Really worth the read. There are alot of parts throughout the story where you will just clutch your stomach and burst out laughing. Sometimes when I read the MC part I feel so bad for him because if I put myself in his shoe I would honestly have just died because it's soooo tiring to continue living for so long, not knowing when, where, and how you will die or who will kill you. Living this kind of life would really make someone's mental state deteriorate. But I guess the MC is different! I'm glad that he is able to make it this far and that now he has someone to stay by his side, to love, care and protect him. <<less

10/10. An absolute fantastic read. Extremely OP Destroyers older Househusband Gong MC x OP Protectors youthful MC

The quality of this novel far exceeds all the other BL Novels I have read thus far. Even if I naturally lean towards fluffy, sweet, brainless and simple reads, this novels' depth has wowed me.

I don't know how to rate this novel, other than a perfect 10/10. If the other novels I had read were like the sweet loving ferris wheel ride, this novel would have been the amus**ent park itself. The sweet, fluffy... more>> romance between the two husbands, the action-packed fights between the Protectors and the Destroyers, the secrets hidden between the two husbands, and the MC's horrible past.

All the characters are well-fleshed out, even the side characters get a depth of their own. The world building is deep and interconnected, and the entirety of the novel feels very complete. The length of the novel was just right, and the extras even gave us a look behind an AI's thought process, as well as the last few mouthfuls of dog food. <<less

Novels about old couples who have been together for a while are rare. What I enjoyed the most in this novel is the fluff, intimacy and tacit understanding between the old couple.

Very complex plot. Due to the complexity of the plot and setting, the author admirably goes into extensive details about almost everything. The author meticulously emphasised the personality, mindset, thought processes, nature, motivation and background of nearly all the characters and also included extremely detailed action sequences. Sometimes, the sheer amount of details was too repetitive, irrelevant and dragged... more>> the plot down.

Often, the plot seemed so complicated and entangled, with all the characters lying, pretending, acting and spying, that I started to find the plot overly dramatic, incoherent and illogical. Also mixing real modern science with the fantasy was not at all convincing. <<less

I really liked how the main couple was already established and getting along well but new circumstances caused changes to their status quo. The ML was possesive but in a way that the MC fully enjoyed and complied with easily. It also was setup so that the ML's behavior made sense and not like a controlling a-hole just bc lol. The plot was riveting and the side character's were interesting. My only regret is that I wish some of the other characters got together!
