Contract mariage in an ABO world, that started out quite ugly due to MC's difficult and unlikable character. It's been a while since I read such melodrama. The tags promised some fluff so I gave it a try. Good thing that halfway through MC's personality improved somewhat. MC is one of those nasty emo characters with a lot of repressed emotions and anger. He was a victim of parental neglect and acts like the whole world owes him an arm and a leg because of this. Daddy and mommy issues do not justify his vulgar, selfcentred and conceited behaviours, especially towards ppl who are kind to him. And I think he is not really a tsundere. He is just a pretend tsundere. Like ML says to MC: "On the surface, you don’t like to interact with others, but you’re actually just afraid to".
Despite the angst, this is not a bad read. It is very well written and translated. And I love the extras about the big bro's sweet lovestory :) <<less

The main couple was cute but they didn't steal my heart like the side couple did. Although the side couple's story was condensed into a few short chapters, it was truly sweet and quite touching. Wish we had more of them.

The ML is really good. He's gentle but not s*upid, caring but not overboard.

The MC has a kind of I-like-you but I'm-too-stubborn-to-admit personality.

I don't hate his stubbornness, instead I like of like the plot like this. Heart wretching but also sweet at the same time.

Cute, sweet short story. It just jumps right into after they are divorced in the first chapterand the backside is given out slowly in snippets over the next ten or so chapters so I wasn't sure what was going on at first.

MC is super tsundere, too the point it got a little bit annoying so I took one star off for that. ML is the kindest and most patient I've ever read in any novel or Manga ever. BL or het. one thing Ireally like about this ABO universe is that there are heat and rut inhibitors so omega can still work while on their heat instead of going into a hormone frenzy. Makes it seem more like having a period. Also, make omega have a separate reproductive tract that isn't normally used during intimate times. Makes it easier to digest than the idea of a baby coming out from you know.. Lol

Full of sweetness!! Usually when there's an extra story on a different character I don't like it but for this story I really did enjoy it.

Another thing that I liked is that the story didn't finish before the MC gave birth like the last novel I read so I quite liked that I guess.

Another thing for me is that when I read short stories half the time the Romance seems a little forced and abrupted but for this story you can see it done pretty well.

This is probably one of the sweetest books I've read. The characters were very fleshed out and I loved the growth of the MC. MC is very flawed and he's aware of his flaws and try to be better for ML. I love that he's not perfect and ML's patience for him was heartwarming. Watching MC open up to ML and allow himself to be vulnerable was truly lovely to read.

I really love this story and have read it a few times. The first time I read the story, I actually didn't like it that much since I felt like MC was annoying and rude and kept victimized himself over the contract marriage.

The second time I read it, I actually kinda understood his mindset better and started to like his sharp mouth but soft heart personality.

ML and his brother have been my favorite characters since my first read. ML doted on MC and ML's brother doted on ML. It's just... more>> fluffy and sweet.

The third time I read it, I just found the bickering between MC and ML's brother funny.

MC and ML compliment each other. There's a bonus side couple 😊

I forgot I actually read this novel before so I read it a 2nd time. It’s really a gd novel you get drawn into, you’ll shed tears because of the MC’s insecurities but he learns to love because the ML really is very patient and spoils him rotten. The extras for the ML’s brother was also well written. I have enjoyed this author’s novels.

Omg I want more chapters I can't get over this sweet short story. The love between the MC and ML is everything ❤️ 😍. I recommend you to this 5/5.

One of my all time favorites. 100% recommend, if you like angsty stories with a happy ending. The characters have depth and are likeable. The plot is okay, but the romance and development makes up for what the plot lacks.

The opening might be a little confusing at first but you will quickly catch on. Overall, this novel is a quick fun read. It's perfect if you are looking for a fluffy novel.

The two main characters are so in love and, don't worry, they get together really quickly. The side couple (in the extras) are even more cute!

bit angst but finished well with main CP and side CP living happily ever after. Translation well done and not too much drama. Cold and aloof actor, Tu Yan and love stuck fool gu chanbei were equally matched. After few twists and turns they settled happily. Timeline of their separation was cut short coz of unplanned little bunny. This story is sweetened with fluff. A must read.

Xie Zhiyao also did a good job in extras.

This made me cry several times. It's very good, I love everybody in the main cast, the romance is sweet, and ML is very clear that he doesn't like being defined by his mobility impairment. Just, a really nice story about healing, but it's the MC who's healing his inner child and letting himself care for someone sincerely despite his fears. I usually just Endure mpreg plots but this wasn't bad at all!

I've read almost a hundred of stories in this site but this is the last story that finally made me threw away my laziness as I willingly registered an account just to promote this good story for everyone to try. I always knew jjwxc stories are amazing. I'm not fond of tragedies and tend to avoid those genres related to angst. Limited possession will make you feel a little irritated due to MC's behavior in the first parts but then as you continue on, you'll realize you're also being influenced... more>> by ML's good temperance to MC. And it's not because of 'blind love'. ML does not tolerate MC's bad attitude just because he loves him. It is because ML truly understand MC's psychological barriers and know how to break these barrier, slowly but surely. Like a wolf in sheep's clothing laying a beautiful trap for his precious little bunny.

The concept of the novel is good, it's just not written very well. I personally didn't like the devlopment of relationship between ML and MC. Plus a lot of time their actions just didn't make sense. Novel could have been better if better insight on thinking process of ML and MC was given.

the time jumps were hella confusing and I lost track of the story's contiguity more than once. That, and the fact that the story's pretty short, made for a pretty unfulfilling read.

This doesnt make sence unless you read the smut, really go to the end, look for the google doc and read it acordingly.

I almost HATED this but by the end I was like oooohhh now I get it...

MC was despicable throughout the story and ML was a fool but it turns out they're not that bad at the end and they even are a good cuple with deep emotional roots and brains.
