Because don't have translation complete, I read in MTL, good enough to understand based on what was already translated.

The MC looks easy to bully, but he have strong inner strength, and know the boundaries the he will not cross.

The ML is kinda crazy at the beginning and you think it's gonna be S&M or coercion like some ML novels, but he gets better...

The novel is okay, not among the best and not also bad. There are good chapters, most are boring, and some are a little annoying. This novel focuses more on the MC and ML, and less about the tv/movie stories. The revenge is over at c74 so I don't have anymore to look forward to. There are a lot more better entertainment BL novel than this and don't want to waste my time.

The MC is like Mary Sue and a little of white lotus (but he is not an... more>> annoying b*tch, rather has a strong inner personality). Probably, I kinda dislike how he keep blushing for every single action of ML to him. I find it too annoying. For ML, his wrath magnifies after his accident and can't control it. He easily gets angry and jealous. Though it is also mentioned that he has really a rotten personality even before accident and is only hidden. I really find him immature despite being in 30s and narrow-minded. I even wonder how he manages his companes with his personality without being on verge of bankruptcy.

Also, I don't find him sweet. He Touched and kissed the MC when the MC was asleep in those times they're not together yet. I find him being a PERVERT instead. Fortunately, he didn't go all the way. On the second time it happened, the MC woke up...

It's a cliché showbiz novel about love story of upcoming star and the company's CEO president, who paves the path for the MC/upcoming star. Not really the best nor the worst showbiz novel I have read. There are some good chapters, but most of it is a bit boring for me since the novel focuses mainly on both the MC and the ML and less of their jobs. The interaction between the MC and the ML are pretty sweet (?) and pretty cliché . The thing that I like about... more>> the MC is that he has a strong inner personality, doesn't let his past affect him that much, but instead works hard to overcome it. I don't really like the fact that the MC keeps blushing at every action the ML does

ML pulled MC onto his lap during the 1st chapter and MC just lets it happen. MC wakes up and finds ML kissing him in his sleep, but just let it happen even though they weren't even together. Basically MC just doesn't really act how most people would act when they are being touched without their consent.

. It did state that he already had a rotten personality even before the accident so I wouldn't really blame the accident for his personality.
The side characters... aren't that great. Most of them are either the villain, dumb, or just plain boring.

Overall this novel isn't really my cup of tea so I didn't enjoy it that much, but if you would like to read it, then go ahead. <<less

I like showbiz stories, but this is a bit read one, read them all...

A pretty cliché showbiz love story of upcoming star and the company's CEO president, who paves the path for the super handsome, and extremely hardworking star. Same old 2-bit antagonists, similar storyline, pure white lotus MC (who's genuinely kind), and a cold-to-others-but-sweet-to-MC mentally unstable ML. At times, it gets a bit boring, and with ML avenging his family, it's pretty much slice-of-life...

Charity 5 stars. 3.5 at best, 4 if you want to stretch it.

Very dull, flat, and boring. No romance to speak of. Just the typical shy blushing shou and I'm-mentally-ill-with-super-tragic-story-that-justifies-my-toxic-traits overbearing gong. Even the showbiz bits are nothing other novels haven't done more entertainingly.

To be fair, I did drop this after getting to halfway the story because all those chapters and yet there's little to no character development. Maybe the remaining 50% of chapters picked up the quality but after pushing myself to even get to the first 50%, I... more>> no longer saw the point of continuing. <<less

The story is good and the love story between MC and ML was so sweet and fluffy too. I loved the way ML gets jealous a lot haha. You should try read this novel.

A very generic entertainment sotry, which isn't a bad thing necessarily, but not what I'm looking for at the moment.

MC is the cute, naive, go getter type, which I usually like, but his constant blushing and thin face was getting annoying. Either you like the man and want to kiss and hold hands or you don't. His avoidance made it seem like he was forced.

ML is cold CEO type with a dark twist. He spent some time in a bad mental ward which coupled with the accident made him unhinged.... more>> He is overly jealous to begin with, but he tries to improve so kudos to him.

Their courtship and relationship is meh. Just ML pushing it along. The side couple is also very predictable and I'm not interested in them at all.

I'm still not sure of MC and ML's age gap.

At first it says MC first meet ML (24) in MC's 2nd year of high school so I thought he should be like 16 ish so 8 year gap. Then it says something later about ML being 30, I thought at first this was the standard decade counting I've seen in many Chinese novels, you know when the character is like 27-29 they say they are 30, 38 is 40 etc. But then, it mentions the half sister being 30 and she is supposedly younger than ML so is ML over 30?

Later it's found out MC is only 19 in present time, so he graduated college at 18-19? In chapter 60 it mentions MC's score on the exam was when he was 15? No where in the story before that does it say MC is a genius who skipped 4 years of school. We know he graduated college too, as he had an interview for a company but signed on to be an actor instead.

I know it's a weird thing to be fixated on, but the inconveniences and vague info is driving me crazy 🤣

The ML's family drama was annoying to me at first, but as the story went on I found myself more invested in it than the MC and ML's relationship.

Translation is fine, later chapters need an editor, but not horrible. I wasn't invested enough to MTL, but might finish if it gets fully translated. <<less

Anyways journey of MC in entertainment industry. Gradually knowing what happened to ML in the past that's why he has the current personality (more severe than his original self- he has a good control though). MC is such a sunshine, good buff preventing the further blackening of ML ahahha

slow pacing, many descriptions, translation is okay

The story of a lil fanboy who defends his tsundere benefactor <3 super cute and fluffy so far. I also enjoy seeing the lil acting bits of the MC. MC isnt a total mary sue either, and tbh I dont really mind either way for him. He’s exactly how he’s described in the book. Like a lil puppy who defends his master hehe

I agree with most of the 3 star reviews. The only thing I'll add is the reason why you may find this cliche or not your taste or something you might drop is because the writing is kinda bad? Not bad but unpolished and not detailed. Telling over showing writing for sure: many events are given 3 paragraphs, skimmed over, or if they are important enough to be given detail, it's very minimal. This author I think doesn't know how to write dialogue so doesn't do it very often. There's... more>> also some high level of confusion over his age. At one point, I thought it said he was 20 but he also has already done 4 yrs of university?? Then it's said he's 19...? The writing is not clear. I think it has the structure of a fluffy entertainment novel and that's all you should expect from it. For that reason, it's boring to read bc the writing doesn't flesh anything out. Only decent if you like that kind of thing. But like me, you might find yourself mid-through thinking, "hmm I think I could read something else instead" bc I don't want to waste my time on mediocre writing. <<less

So far the progress between MC and ML are Pretty Good! Not Slow nor Rush. Yes, they haven't together yet, but they're already pretty close and their feelings slowly becoming Mutual~

All Supporting characters so far was nice!

Sure there is and was bad people. But ML will protect MC and counterattack the Bad people who had tried to harm MC. While MC also equally protective of ML and won't let anyone talk bad about ML! No one is Pushover.

Usually I would MTL the rest when I'm eager to know what happen... more>> next, but sadly I'm busy lately so I don't have time to do it. Ouch. Pray the translation would keep going till finish! 🙏🙏🙏 Pray the rest of the story are satisfying!!!! <<less

The novel is a decent read. If you're looking for something a bit dramatic and cute, this is it. There's barely any drama between the MC and ml, their relationship is pretty smooth sailing and they got together pretty early (around ch50). Their interactions are cute, MC likes ML a lot and vice versa. They both understand and support each other so there isn't really any misunderstanding.

But there are a lot of drama around them, especially ml's life, which I thought was really interesting. And the faceslapping was satisfying for me, but it can probably go overboard for some.

OMG! That was so f*ing cute. One hell of a cute MC. ML is kinda moody, but he's kind and sweet deep down. I love them both. The story and plot line is good. Not too shallow, though I couldn't say it's not deep because it's still chapter 5, too early to judge.

I hope to see both of them together and how ML spoil our MC in the future. They were born for each other, seriously.
