This novel made me literally laugh out loud at some parts! Although there’s not much of a plot and it was more slice of life than anything, but her character is probably easier to digest if you think that her actions is exactly what you would do if you know you have a rich dad backing you up.

Didn't enjoy the novel as much as the other readers. It was refreshing at the start, and quite funny at parts, but got tiresome after a while and I think the author dragged this for a little too long. As other readers pointed out, the story ended unsatisfyingly, with no explanations -

The translation was also sub-par, and there were a few times when I had no idea what was happening.

It was an okay read, but I personally don't think it deserves the high rating it has. <<less

Lmao the ML is not expected at all😂

Love this story so much. It really refreshing from the overbearing ML trope. The romance is slow burn but hilarious and I really enjoyed it! The OG FL also funny😂 this novel is a gem. Of course it has plot hole but for me the comedy and romance save it.

I only read a first few chapters and here's my thought:

  • She has to do tasks as to maintain her character, which I was not aware of before going into the novel, thinking she's just simply transmigrated and voila. Just a bit of a surprise.
  • It's quite funny but the jokes use the same formula so the humor may be short-lived for some.
  • The translation is bad, sometimes missing sentences between the chapters. It seems like there's no editor revising the drafts before submitting them.
  • The novel gives off a vintage vibe. The setting is about 2010s but I just can't help projecting the 80s era.
  • The ogFL is cute. Usually, the friendship between the FL and ogFL seems forced and shallow but I enjoy the boss - subordinate relationship here.
  • The only character I don't like is the FL. She's just too much, like the author just put everything into her without regard and then called it a day.

I have just discovered that following in the footsteps of Overbearing President Chu is my life’s ambition. ‘Bon mot’ was created just for Chu Chu to drop them.

This story is amazing. The FL is fantastically, unapologetically shameless. I laughed from beginning to end.

Bookmarked and super highly recommend.

FL will definitely give you some laughs ahahhaha and will understand how the title of novel came to be. She has a great personality and somehow good at persuading othersxD characters are fleshedout not tooo 2d unlike other novels. Ml's got enough almost everyday of fl's antiques but well fl's charm is there hehe so Ml's slowly fell inlove with FLCute side story with their child

First of all, let me say that the relationships between this characters in this novel is immaculate. The romantic relationship between MC and ML is really cute and lovely. The familial relationship between father and daughter is hilarious to say the least. They are always at each other's throats but they do care about each other. Subordinate and boss relationships is really funny in this novel too. MC's vibes are impeccable and ML has a really attractive personality.

That being said, the plot was both quite innovative but also boring. The author tries to go in depth into the world of business. There were lots of business jargon used in the novel. As someone who is not in that circle, it was hard for me to understand what was going on in the plot most of the time. I ended skipping a lot of chapters because it failed to keep my attention.

honestly such a refreshing and witty character of the FML, the ML was great too. Would've loved to see more of the system but it more or less faded off after a few scenes.
this novel is decent, but got really boring afterward, as another reader mentioned after chapter 250 or so, I felt it got too draggy. Sometimes the translation can be a bit confusing as well; not sure if it's because the story is written in that way.

Oh wow, this was pretty funny and fluffy. It was also very cute, the CP was very good. It's fluffy and well done. I love this kind of pairings, doting and indulgent ML with an overhyped MC.

Although there's a lot of filler chapters on the latter part so it was kinda boring. Still, its pretty good for a light read.

The beginning is interesting and the FL is unique as well. After all, she was transmigrated as the vicious female supporting character, if it's the usual transmigrator FL, she will obey the system. But Chu Chu, the FL, didn't. She adhere by her principles and refuse to be vicious. Also, the roles of the ML and FL are reversed. I mean, this is not your typical domineering CEO and little secretary's office romance since the FL is the (trying hard) domineering CEO lol. I thought that after Chu Chu returned to her real world and then back to the novel world, it's nearing its end but no. The story was dragged on with a lot of loose ends like:

Who plotted to kidnapped the father and daughter Chu?

What's up with Nan Yandong? Why does he have different titles? Is he also reborn?

What happen to Xia Xiaoxiao? Although she's just a supporting character, as someone who originally has the halo of female lead, she deserves some mention, right?

Sweet and fun but too long.

I had to stop and then restart the book again mid way cause it became too boring. There are somethings that the author did well and that will make you enjoy the book - The female lead stood by her real life philosophy and refused to be a vicious female lead, the book is not up to date with the current technological development and the female lead is clear about 1 field she is confident in - media. She says openly that she doesn't understand... more>> finance part so all those decisions are left to the male lead. Another good point is that she is pretty clever and knows that she has a lucky halo and yet she prepares her / her father's company for bankruptcy.

What I didn't like - there is a mid portion that suddenly deals with construction of a village and that part got so boring. Had to speed read through 250-300 chapters cause those just felt like filler pages. The original female and male lead were lost about half way and so there wasn't any push back. I wish the story could have given us some background on what happened to the real world her and what happened to the original leads at the end.

The extra is cute cause they introduce her kid. <<less

Story seems interesting so far but have to leave a rant about the TL.
Too literal resulting in garbled context and breaks often the immersion.
Worst offense of all, there's frequently a case of missing content, as much as half a chapter worth. TLer split the novel chapters into two and didn't even bother labeling it correctly (like chapter 1 part 1/2 or something, it isn't hard to label sh*t correctly, now is it...), so digging for the missing parts was annoying. Might as well go read the MTL, which I started doing from chapter 44/330 or the actual chapter 24/150.
After reading 1 chapter and comparing it side by side, TL is just an edited ver. MTL.... too many incoherent sentences that match 1:1.

Funny, witty, fast-paced (most of the time) novel. There is no suspense, face-slapping or drama. Most of the novel consists of humorous (and not possible in real life) moments that don't make much sense. A delightful read to make one laugh.

Translation: 9/10
