- Writing tends to be draggy, especially once you're already 200 chapters in. The author is guilty of spending too much time talking about the not-so-important stuff (e.g., plots of the movies) or the constant progression and regression of FL's intellectual abilities which makes some arcs redundant. Ironically enough, despite that, several important/interesting scenes were glossed over by the author. If she hadn't done all this, I reckon that this would only be 300-350 chapters MAX. This is primarily why I gave this a 3.5 - if not for this, this would be a solid 4.
- I agree with coco1996. The first 2 MLs did not match the FL at all; their relationships seemed forced. The tension between the two before they got together was really apparent, but once they got into a relationship, it fizzled out which was such a shame especially in the case of the 2nd ML.

I'm not sure if this was deliberately done to make the readers want her to get with the final ML, but if it was, it worked for me.
- On that note, the build up to their relationship was well-done.

- I liked how the author chose to portray: (a) the friendships between the different sexes, (b) sexuality and intimacy, (c) the dog-eat-dog mentality. I was pleasantly surprised to discover we had similar mindsets.
Overall, this was a good read! Will definitely check out the author's other works. Her suitor was a missed opportunity as well. When he was introduced, the author made it seem he was going to have a huge role in her life, but nada.
He was her constant, and she was his. They knew each other best. I loved that the FL mentioned that in her faux proposal and in her heart-to-heart sessions with him. I hate clichés but they fit so well together. I just wish they had some more romantic/sensual scenes before the end of the book.
