QT is a weakness of mine, and I particularly enjoy it when new variations appear -- with a gong protagonist, for example. However, the setup took longer than it should, and it feels like the author changed their mind and made it QT because they didn't know how to continue the story. There were definitely parts that were more rushed, and some big plot holes related to the whys and hows of the system. I understand if that's not what the author wants to deal with, though. 4 stars.

Interesting plot and strong characters. Through the various time lines none of the characters becomes too arrogant or too foolish. There is just one story line that didn't like and so I didn't read it.

The last twist was a bit confusing in the larger sense of the world but what I love is that no matter what they always come together. Even though they don't look exactly the same and didn't behave the same, their rhythm remained the same. I also like that the MC is not like an all... more>> genius, he knows one thing best and tends to revert to it to make money while being honest to the original character. Most characters are quite realistic they don't grow powerful overnight and buy companies for no reason. <<less
