After Transmigrating I Made The Antagonist Cry

He transmigrated into this book with the mission to prevent the antagonist from ending up ‘blackened’ too early.

And became a cannon fodder that is supposed to abandon the antagonist and prostrate himself at the Protagonist Bottom’s feet.

To this, Liu Yu’an would like to say – To abandon a bossy CEO antagonist who likes him and is elegant and beautiful and can even shut down the world economy with one sentence, and go prostrate at the feet of the little idol, the Protagonist Bottom who doesn’t even like him?

The original person must have had his brain bonked silly.

Thank the gods he transmigrated instead.

Later, Liu Yu’an realises – that the elegance and distance is merely a shell the bossy CEO has put about himself. The bossy CEO without the shell is sensitive, lacks confidence and especially lacks a sense of security. He’s also… a crybaby.

As a member of the Virtual Worlds Management Centre, Liu Yu’an has been through dozens of different worlds already. He has been the emperor, the evil court minister, the Lord of all Demons, the Demonic Cultivator Overlord, the Ruler of the Ascended Realm, a teacher, a student, a doctor, a CEO, a general…

Though he never did expect to one day have to play the role of the characters he has been as an actor in another world.

Looking at the Internet, with all sorts of,

Commenter A: Aaaaah! Gege’s acting looks like the genuine Demon Lord himself.

Commenter B: Holy shit! An-ge tell us in all honesty were you a high school homeroom teacher before you debuted?!

Commenter C: I’m in love, seriously, is it too late for me to declare my fanhood allegiance now?!

Liu Yu’an is quite nonplussed, my, oh my, you all are too young, too young…

Yet, not even the experienced transmigrator that he was expected that, one day, he would apply to be allowed taking a book character back out to the real world.

Good translation (*´∇`*)

Most of the times sweet and fluffy. Light plot. The novel mainly revolves around them. MC is op. This has ended quite uniquely.

Will re-read again sometime. (๑¯ω¯๑)

Hey, it's the translator here. I'd really rate this a 4.5 rather than a five but, you know. Anyway, this is a long novel with the main focus being on a fluffy romance. It mostly succeeds but there are also parts where the plot is slow and drags on for a bit. Character-wise the leads are fleshed out, but you can probably imagine the (non) -growth from the side characters in a romance fluff novel. The plot... Well, it exists, I guess. It's hinted at at first and then explored... more>> a bit but it's definitely no Tale of Two Cities tension or excitement, but there is an overarching setting tying it all together. As for the cons... The protagonist is quite the unfortunate patient of the alpha male toxicity at times, and some might find the Bottom annoying. Also, as I said, the plot drags on, maybe a bit too excessively at times, especially when it repeats itself.

With all of that said, I think it's good for killing a bit of time and shut down some brain cells for a while. Why not give it a chance? (In fact, I've taken the liberty of reinterpreting some of the most repetitive parts myself and, yeah, I know this is highly unethical translator practice and I am well aware of my misstep here. I will certainly refrain from doing so in the future, as this should be at the viewer's own discretion. I am keeping it this way to serve as a reminder for myself, but I think you should feel free to skip/drop this one if you are rightfully bothered by it). <<less

That was very boring.

The main problem of this novel is MC. He is an experienced transmigrator whose job is to prevent the world from collapsing. The mindset of MC can be described in 2 sentences: "In this world, except for ML, nothing matters. ML only matters because he has the ability to collapse the world".

So basically the whole novel is MC doing things he has no interest in doing. And if MC doesn't care, then why should I?

It would've been fine if relationship between MC and ML was well developed.... more>> I've read full 43 chapters, that is nearly 2/3 of the novel, and there was 0 development. From the start MC was taking care of ML because that was his task in this world, and there was never shown when and how his feelings became sincere (IF they became sincere). 2/3 of the novel of the same things over and over again.

One thing I remembered and didn't like: ML knew that the Original Owner didn't like him, and when MC claimed that he was in love all along, he was doubtful. At one point he even asked MC if he was just acting. And instead of reassuring him, MC started playing mind games: "Why would you think that? Don't you see how good I treat you?".

At the begining ML asked MC why he was so nice to him. MC joked that he wanted resources. ML didn't realise that this was a joke. MC knew it, but didn't even consider explaining. Is this really how people talk to someone they like?

Yet another thing that makes MC boring is how OP he is. He is a great actor because the role he is playing is who he was in the previous world. He is a master survivalist because he was one in previous worlds. He can catch venomous snakes with bare hands because he used to rasing monster snakes. He is a great makeup artist, a great martial artist, a great businessman, the list goes on and on. If MC ar ML encounder a problem that requires a specific skills - MC already perfected them. And things like this are done sorely to show off how "cool" MC is. In the early chapters MC was taken as an apprentice to an influental actress. After they formally establish his apprenticeship it was forgotten. Several dozens chapters, several months in story - never mentioned.

Maybe in later chapters there will be an actual plot, but come on. It will never make up for 43 chapters of nothingness <<less

So, I usually leave reviews on novels when completed, dropped or I've read all the available chapters because I have bad memory and can't remember what I read in a past week so I look back via these reviews. The problem with this one is that, I quite literally read this a few days ago and I barely even remember what happened besides the gripes I had coming out of this story (make of that what you will). Because of that, please note my rating is ONLY for the acting... more>> portion of this novel. I do remember that the beginning was really promising and I enjoyed the fact that ML was a kuudere who loved sweets (and relied on MC to bring him afternoon sweets so that he wouldn't ruin his image), MC is also very steady and they have a good dynamic, but other than the fact that it's mostly a fluffy romance story I won't comment anymore on that because I just straight up can't remember anything else.

My biggest gripe is the plot, specifically I read the story originally for the second half of the summary; the actor part. I was really interested to read about a character acting as past people that he lived as previously, but every single time it just divulged into telling us that he did a good job that was it. The acting scenes were lacking, and the the variety shows just showed off MC's survival skills. I agree when the translator says that the plot is basically just there as a background and the story is focused mainly on the romance between MC and ML.

Overall from what I can remember it wasn't terrible as a romance story to burn some time with, but as an acting/show biz story it was absolutely lackluster. MC and ML have quite a good relationship however, as MC is quite doting and it's cute to see ML be a little vigilant against the actor that the original MC was obsessed over. Even though I dropped this at chapter 60 due to boredom, I do recommend you give this a shot so that you can form your own judgements. <<less

Enjoyed the novel, but I'm not a fan of the translator rewriting parts where they disagreed with the original author's choices. I know translating is hard work, and there are a lot of tough decisions to make (I translate, too) but changing the author's work (outside of fanfic) just feels not great.

Had to stop reading because the translator changed parts of the story. I had to keep checking with the raws to see if it was accurate and finally I got tired. I guess this will sound ungrateful but why would you do that tl? It's like going to a hair salon and giving clear instructions on the cut you want but the hairdresser insists on adding his own flair because your style doesn't match his aesthetic. Really saddening.

This story is to be taken lightly and honestly I am so annoyed I didnt read this novel sooner, I always see it when I am scrolling through but never actually read it, and when I finally read it I wanna kick myself for not reading it sooner.

There are alot of misunderstandings at the beginning but it gets better the ML actually tells the MC to respond and tell him if he is upset with something and for me thats a huge development and vise-versa (if anyone has gone through... more>> a uncommunative relationship they prob know how hard it is.

I have only read till ch 45 but I want to read more soooooo baddd rn, plus the gap moe is just funny.

For me I actually think that MC likes ml, its subtle aand is always been given in hints here and there but its there and its plain up dog food in the latter parts of the novel. ANYWAY U SHOULD TRY IT OUT ! <<less

Transmigrated MC (smooth, persistent, hardworking) x Ice-faced CEO ML (cold, tsundre, cute)

MC and ML are so sweet and maddening.

The plot is one of systems and transmigration.

MC gong, it's part of the system.

There are 2 types of worlds, the main and the secondary. The main ones are connected with reality while the secondary worlds come from series and books. MC deals with the first type of worlds, he has to prevent them from being destroyed.

Our MC transmigrated just as he was about to marry ML. He has to stop ML from going evil and, to do so, he marries ML, planning to give him love.

In the main plot, they leave the ML planted by a fake shou lotus, causing ML to ultimately lead to the destruction of the world. Apparently ML is the richest man in the world hahaha, so when he goes crazy he leads a lot of people to ruin = to death

but surprise!

ML was reborn and now wants a divorce.

They start living together, although MC sleeps on the couch (poor him hehehehe) he will work hard so that ML does not divorce him, he is so cute

He brings ML's meals every day, visits him at work, picks him up and takes him when he can to his office, takes him to appointments, etc.

And ML the icy CEO is melting more every day (even though he still makes MC sleep on the couch lol)

The MC has a great job to do (his body host was good at picking up the hatred of others hahaha), they literally throw hate at him wherever he walks, most of his fans are black fans (the MC is an actor), he is not he saves himself from being criticized neither by the ML secretaries nor by his parents (F for the MC) even the maquiladoras on set insult him
: (however he shows little by little his talent and closes his mouth to everyone: D

Everything is so cute but in a moment you realize that this couple lacks communication!

MC was invited to a meeting of his friends, where they played the bottle game, he chose to kiss ML but later apologized, since ML has a thin face and quickly becomes embarrassed. But ML translated it to

One thing led to another, and ML avoided the MC for this.

Then I create a meeting to find a new partner, where he invited many handsome men (ML wanted to be a sugar daddy) and find a new love, since he said that the MC did not want him.

Fortunately, MC was able to stop all of this and got everyone who loved a silver-lined dad out of the room. He then he had a serious conversation with ML

WTF with ML neurons. Dude, if you're so good at business, can't you talk to your partner? A relationship is like a long-term business.

If by chance the MC didn't come to fix things, what would happen?

I think it's the first time that I get so mad at an ML or a character lol <<less

This was a pretty nice, idle, fluffy bl. It was great since it was of the rare seme perspective and the world building was interesting.

The novel was great. The relationship between the MC and ML had good development and the plot was fleshed out enough for an enjoyable read that has your usual tropes and cliches.

However, the ending of the main story was really abrupt. Like the author kinda gave up and wrote a summary of what happened. Also there was absolutely no development of the side characters and even... more>> the career of the MC. It would have been nice if the whole entertainment circle section was more significant to the story.

Overall it's a really good read. It's funny, has a good romance plot and its possible to read it all in one sitting. 4/5 <<less

This is... I'm not sure I liked it or not... I binge read it because if I stoped, I'm pretty sure I wouldnt pick it up again.

It's fluffy and that's about it, it's not particularly original or interesting, the part about the ML crying... A bit of a strech, like I would cry too if I where him altho each time he seems to pick a particularly absurd moment to do so... like a "bad" guy forced to sell meng, idk it felt a bit off.

MC... Well he is anoying... more>> at best. He is not from that world so, yeah I see where he is coming from but still... The plot hole is masive.

i Saw someone comented how the cp had such a healty and caring relationship, but really? There is a plote hole where ML finds out the word-book thing and MC is suspish about how he found out, Was he under survilance? Where every body under survilance?? And he wasnt even surpriced by the whole thing, anyway the book doesnt say if he guessed right so I asume he did 🤷

The tl is quite good and I guess it was a bit akward to translate because of the plote holes and what not, BUT tl decided to make up an entirely new ending and chance a bunch of stuff in the middle which I can't say I apreciated, but I can imagine how much worse the raw was.

Didnt hate it, but Def won't read again. <<less

This novel was on my list of series that I was camping for & I will admit, at this point, I was starving for any completed modern BL. I personally enjoy showbiz plots, dog blood or not. Some may think it gets stale, but I love my cheap food! If anything, turn off your brain when reading this novel. It's cute & I really love the whole icy-but-tofu-soft shou x doting gong dynamic. HOWEVER, it's not a novel you go to if you want things to make sense, capisce? Super... more>> plot holey & full of plot-armour that'll make you roll your eyes. The "plot" is built to circle around the main CP & it won't be able to stand on its own. So I'll repeat & emphasize once more: TURN OFF YOUR BRAIN WHEN READING THIS NOVEL if you want to try & gain some enjoyment from it.

I personally think it'd work better if it just stuck to the modern/showbiz setting rather than expand out to incorporate world-hopping & intergalactic themes. But again- that's just my two-cents. Some may want it the other way around.

What can I say, I like seme protagonists?

Overall a fluffy entertainment novel, that doesn't make any waves. The translation flows really well and made it very enjoyable to read. I would say, the one unique part of the novel is that the

ML (or capture target) eventually finds out that the MC is a transmigrator and eventually gets a happy ending with the MC returning back to his "homeworld" with the ML instead of staying just for the rest of his life in the "fictional world."

Althought I enjoy seme protagonists, this one was a bit more tropey than I generally like

the top!character once again had to dominate, literally be 100% good at everything. His spouse, the bottom!character is portrayed as the wealthiest person on the planet, imagine like Jeff Bezos or Bill Gates type wealth and influence. BUT, pretty quickly the top!MC comes in and starts helping him read business documents in his spare time, apparently able to complete them faster and better than how the bottom!ML could. *rolls eyes*

I absolutely despise situations where the stereotypical "top" (usually ML in this case since most novels have the ML being the top) be so absolutely better than the "bottom" (male or female) in every skill or situation. Ridiculous.

So I am not a fan of this trope because it's so overdone and unbelievable.

Top!character proceeds to be the BEST at everything else thereafter - acting, business, cooking, fighting, survival, strength etc.

Then let's top it off with him also being literally a royal intergalactic prince with the highest type of spiritual strength in the universe (SSS).

the last big weakness in the novel is how most CN authors seem to be obsessed with top/bottom roles for their characters.

As in, everyone random from the bodyguards to cameramen who've never met the couple, are portrayed slotting the MC or ML into those roles and become dumbstruck with shock if something happens that is different from their worldview (huge wtf who actually does this in real life??).

The side characters constantly have extreme thoughts about how the "bottom" should be the weaker one in the relationship, about how "bottoms" are teary or more emotional or need to be "spoiled" by the top. Or bottoms who have jealous fits of rage while tops are apparently just condescendingly gentle and generous. Ugh, just shoot me.

Anyway, this and other novels express a whole smorgasbord of just ridiculous gender stereotyping and misogeny that can't even be expressed in a few sentences.

Oh I forgot there are also a few plot holes,

Author really lost a lot of momentum from making the MC too OP. Literally everything is solved at the drop of a hat. I thought there were going to be more tense periods because of all the foreshadowing with the connection to the Main Centre constantly being down, but nope. It was just a joke at the end.

There were also a few mentions of side characters, like Qin Lin, who was set up to be someone that the MC would lend a hand to or become a friend due to the description of their second encounter right outside the MC's filming location... completely dropped. There was no point of even having a detailed second encounter if the author wanted that side-character to never show up again.

Anyway, I enjoy this translator's work so I would be looking forward to their future novel picks. <<less

it truly was rather boring. not recommended at all.

the characters are childish, and their characterization is inconsistent and dull. reading this until the end became a chore.

it had so many plot holes... god. there where parts where I simply found the text embarrassing because of how s*upid it was.

the main character has, supposedly, traveled through countless of worlds. he is supposed to be thousands of years old; is supposed to be experienced and professional... but he isn't. he acts like a child, as does the male lead. their romance is... more>> all over the place... god. really.

when the male lead discovered that the main character wasn't the same liu yu'an he knew from childhood, and the main character had to explain that he comes from the real world... everything there was told in such a way that it was absurd! male lead's first reaction is to cry, and his second one is to get jealous because main character will love someone else in his real world. the male lead is supposed to be a genius entrepreneur, a capable man who has been through many hardships and is mature and responsible. he alone could destroy the world... but that wasn't what the text read. male lead was simply pathetic. he had the emotional maturity of a twelve year old.

anyways. it was boring. I don't even know what to think about the third extra.

it was so bad, with some child trying to physically assault male lead and main character because they had plastic surgery done to themselves...

truly, this novel was hilarious because of how bad it was.

thank you to the translator for their work. the novel was bad, but it is funny to think about it and laugh because of that. <<less

5 stars for Me!! I can't find the 4 extras chapter ! Huhu and I'm also thirsty for more details smutty scene.

The MC tells his secret in the end, when they die in this world the MC take the ML into his Interstellar world.

This pairing really resonate with me cause my type is someone who's elegant, hard-to-get, powerful tsundere that need constant reassurance that can be bullied!!

MC is overpower but doesn't like to show off and...

he is a powerful Prince that have military power in the main world. He's worried when he goes back in to the main world bringing back Male Lead, he can't hide anymore by going through various world and will be busy fighting wars against Zerg and all leaving Male Lead alone

The original plot, ML is evil antagonist "Bottom" that confined the MC "Top" (cannon fodder) for giving him a green hat on their wedding day, jealous he ruin the protagonist "bottom" (the original cannon fodder crush) which led the antagonist to be killed by the protagonist ML.

But, since ML antagonist reborn...

he change the plot by ruining the economy instead and wanted a divorce, which cause the virtual world to collapse and need help from our MC service system.

Since this is a virtual world, it isn't permanent, so the ending can varieties.

This world has restarted, our MC enter the second world again that been restarted, which seem that ML have gone through for the third time, starting off on their wedding day.

But our MC doesn't know that ML reborn and only think according to the original plot, so when he chase after the ML suddenly, ML doubt the MC a lot for sudden change since he know in previous life the MC like the protagonist not him and felt ashame because he had confined chains on novel MC which our current MC doesn't know/experience it so he brush it off and doesn't understand ML thinking.

There's also a reason why ML reborn and all the plot jumble up in the virtual world because something happen. Lalala~

Ilove how gentle yet domineering our MC is and how our ML try to be cold but wanted to be dominate. AHAHAHAH. <<less

These stars belong more to the translator tbh.

The story is a bit cliche and while it is 90% fluff and has a few good things, it's a bit difficult to grade. Like the author left these really interesting and unique plot threads, but they would only be used to advance the couple's relationship and after some fluff would be wrapped up behind the scenes. So yay fluff? But also I wish we found out more about the "Protagonist Bottom" mentioned in the summary who just vanished after a while or... more>> the reasoning behind so many of the Protagonist Male Lead's actions.

We're missing a lot of depth in the plot and the characters and the whole transmigration stuff, but on the other hand if the author was aiming for a overall simple story then mission accomplished.

It is fairly short and the MC and ML are cute. The best part is that MC tells the truth about

transmigrating into the MC's body

which has always been a pet peeve of mine, when characters have 'true love' but never tell the truth. So one star for that. <<less

MC was very capable and skillful. ML was like a good mature kid with sad background, that almot fell into the crazy yandere psychopath route. There was no direct enemy, no love rival, no immediate danger, it's very peaceful.

It's difficult to switch my view of MC and ML as the respective gong and shou.

I love how the author could write the ML as an epitome of overbearing gong ceo and yes I did feel like this antagonist was very good, cold, and very very gong ML. But then it was... more>> destroyed with how submissively MC treatment toward ML, that MC was actually very dominant in the relationship was a pin hole I managed not to see after a while.

But I feel the author kinda lost the point of the story in the middle toward the end. The ending was.... not fitting or suitable with how the author built up all the tension, the plot and all the characters mentioned. The ending was very lackluster.

By the end of it, I'm still reeling of what kind of conclussion I should draw from this novel. <<less
