She had a dream: the world was brimming with light. Family. School. Friends. Trains. Buses. Movies. Books. In that world of light, she grew into adulthood… and at the very end, in a white room, she fell into darkness. She awoke from the dream to find that she had become a demon. In the demon world, she lived a carefree life until she encountered a powerful being.

After such a long time spent living as a demon, before she knew it, spreading in her heart was a yearning for that world of light. She plunged herself into a summoning magic circle that had appeared. Then… when she opened her eyes once again, she had become a human baby.

She was in the Holy Kingdom. She felt fearful: while she was indeed a demon, she only had the strength of a baby. Her being a demon, if discovered, would be terrible. Was she a human or a demon? Would she be able to survive from here on out?

Wow what a story. At first it gets by pretty slow and it's hard to understand. Since it's building up her demon phase when she remembered her past life as a human. She thought of it as a beautiful dream and wants to become human even while she's a demon. Then she gets a new life as a human in another world with her past life as a demon.

This is where the story picks up, yet while she is a mesmerizing beauty and she thinks of herself as some weird... more>> abnormality. She's also attracted to very demon like things but everyone looks at her like an angel. There's a lot of drama going on behind the scenes with her family and the state of politics in the kingdom. She is very unaware of since she's a child and when it gets to the point that stuff hits the fan, it gets good.

Very similar to E? Heibon Desu yo?? But replace the fact that she remembers herself as a human with being a demon. <<less

Overall, it is a decent read, though the quality and consistency tends to drop a bit after vol 5.

If I had to sum up the experience, its like you someday decided to avoid yourself from the filth of the world, and sit down to watch a calm and beautiful lake, surrounded by a lush, vibrant forest. However, in some seldom occasions, the lake erupts in with a volcano, and the surrounding forest catches on fire. The psycho and pyromaniac you are, you kinda enjoy the pandemonium. However, in the midst... more>> of the inferno, the author calls in a rain with his godly powers to cool things a bit until calm is restored.

The surroundings are still left with the vestiges of the chaos, but its calm again. You find peace (mofumofu).

Until a meteorite falls and destruction prevails again.

The author comes to the rescue with a certain golden sword and uses some certain magic until things are fixed again.

Rinse and repeat, until you kinda forget how the hell you ended up here in the first place.

Personally, I pretty much stopped after vol 6. I think I would have appreciated if the author separated the 2 main arcs into different novels. If it was notfor the second arc, I would have given this novel a 4.5 - 5. <<less

Not a particularly bad story, but dull enough to warrant a lower score than some deem appropriate. The main character's abilities are shallow and uninteresting, with no discernible limits or requirements, which makes any usage thereof unpredictable and lackluster in execution.

As far as I have read there appears to be no tension or motivation, and as such the main character is entirely reactive and without any goal to speak of. The side characters are inconsequential, the world building is uninteresting, the premise is irrelevant to the story, the magic is... more>> forgettable, and the MC is boring. The entire novel is mediocre and stale. I give it a generous three stars for it having taken me three volumes to realise that I have better books to read. <<less

It's a laidback story of an OP Demon who isn't self-aware of how truly OP she is, just doing her own thing, because she want to do it, and the people she run into.

If you just want something on the lighter side of tone but still makes you want to make that evil smile, this might be up your alley.

Just do note that the MTL make mistakes ranging from screwing up names (minor) to completely mistranslating a line or even a whole paragraph, and they're hubris/lazy/oblivious enough that they won't... more>> fix anything even if pointed out, sometimes even making up excuses to cover it up.

Basically they've become my go to example when I need to explain why I consider full MTL as trash.

To give one example:

MC: "I'm too full to eat your soul. You've got really good luck"
Guy: ".... Luck?" (more literal translation is, 'luck, you say?'

MTL: MC: "~~~ Consider yourself lucky"

Guy "......... yes"

The tone changed from a demon nonchalantly explain that the only reason this guy is alive is because she's full, and him being incredulous at her reason, to about a demon showing mercy and a guy meekly accepting it.

(which then contrast with his later attitude of defiance)

This story is truly a nice one. You want fluffyness? It has it! You want massacre? It has it! This story is about an overpowered female demon, who thinks like a girl and a demon. She looks like a cute little girl, but this fluffy being is colored in blood. In some sense this story has a reverse harem, but even I who don't like them can tolerate it, because all members except one think she is a frail girl, who has to be protected and the last one thinks... more>> of her more as a pet and their relationship has to develop.

However this demon has different names and can use holy magic, so she is named: [Saint][Princess Yurushia][Sunshine of the Demon World][Golden Beast]

fun fact: She leads as a [human] a secret society whose members have been cured of baldness by her. <<less

Another Masterpiece of Isekai, Reincarnate and Over-Powered Protagonist. There's 2 main reason I love this Web Novel.

First there's world Building which is really cute and fluffy unlike most isekai generic with their bland and typical Game system.

Second there's a lot of Character Development which is the main charm of this Web Novel unlike most isekai generic with their one dimension character and other barely rememberable character.

Thought some people may argue there's a lot of gore scene in truth those cruel and gore scene doesn't really felt disgusting instead you may... more>> thought the villain really deserve those end since they dare to hurt our cute and Fluffy Golden Beast, well my reaction were like "serves you right".

Don't let those cruel and gore tag discourage yourself to read this Masterpiece. <<less

I LOVE it.

The beginning was pretty slow but otherwise, it's a really good novel. One of my favourite, definitely.

The MC is really likable. Smart, cunning and yet, so adorable. As both a human and a demon, while she acts like a human, her demon nature have influenced her morals as she will manipulate and kill others without any remorse. It might not be obvious at the beginning, but she's OP so she's definitely no maiden in distress.

POV are really interesting. While confusing at first (since they're aren't obvious unlike other... more>> novels), they're really interesting to read.

Usually not a big fan of misunderstands, the misunderstands in this novel make sense and are actually pretty hilarious (being mistaken as an angel while she's a demon, I mean seriously x))

The story is well written. Neither slow paces are too fast paced, so it's easy to read. It totally recommend it. <<less

Although I think that this novel is a bit below Kumo, it is still one of the most wonderful isekai novels, totally worthing 5 star. I don't understand why it is still a web novel.

This is likely the best novel on the site. Its is amazingly written, the stories fluff is adorable, and what action there is is also perfectly done. I honestly can't think of a bad thing about this novel, though I don't much care for the direction its beginning to go. But as it is, I reccomend it with a full five out of five!

Reviewed at v2c8, rated 4.

Demon Girl is fluffy and entertaining. It has good beginning, but subsequent development sometimes a bit too fluffy that rather distracting from the main plot and the pace becomes slower. Read it if you want fluffiness and no heavy thinking, look for another if you want tumultuous plot or fast pace.

I'm so glad this series was picked up again and seen an increase of its readers. I posted on reddit about a month ago about this series, wanting someone to pick up the reins as the translator at the time seemed disinterested by the project. I'm unsure if App, the current translator, heard my cry for new chapters but I'm so happy that translating has continue nonetheless.

An OP reincarnated demon with human memories born to a high nobility in a deeply religious state. Is she the devil or a saint?... more>> I'm not really sure but I'm guessing something in between. Regardless of that, the amount of diabetes I'm getting from this series is higher than normal. Yuru is a very interesting character and I'm genuinely curious of what's going to happen next. <<less

I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone wanting to read something good. Seriously do yourself the favor and read it.

The MC is spectacularly awesome in so many ways. The misunderstandings, the floofiness and most importantly the demon!!! The story and writing is nice fleshed out for me. The pacing is of a moderate level and the world and it's concepts thought out. The characters are nice portrayed. The Change of POV is also refreshing and hilarious when taken into consideration of the the MC.

rarely does anything surprise me anymore in regards to entertainment be it written, manga, small screen or big screen. But as of ch9 I was honestly surprised and craving for more when Yuru Snapped her neck.

The author likes her misunderstandings, Good looking Oji-san types and of course cliff hangers, and she does them well. <<less

The concept and story of this LN is good. But, the way the author tell the story is a bit confusing.
Sometimes you can't understand what is happening until you read it several times or you just skip the confusing part as if that part never exists.

Note: Don't expect "a fair karma" in this LN, everyone who do a bad thing to the MC will be dead for sure, there's no public judgment, only dead in despair for those people.

Although the story is a bit repetitive I don't think that that's a bad thing (tho volume 6 was a bit of a let down) I think it fits the story well but overall it's an amazing read especially the 1st volume was good in my opinion. ≪spoiler> (Now to all those hoping for a harem, sorry although there is a bit of romance it isn't the MC experiencing it)

I really don't understand the high ratings.

This is a story of a demon girl who has dreams about her previous life, the description uses a lot of flowery word, but in actuality we know very little about her dreams, it is however naturally insinuated that it's of Earth and Japan.

These are however only dreams and not actual memories, yet they still influence the MC, When she was born in the demon world and right up until possessing the body of a baby who was stillborn she was essentially a child... more>> and that is still the case after, she is however portrayed as being relatively mature at times leading me to believe she was influenced by her previous life. The end result of this however is that it just makes her character feel like it's been dumbed down.

Like your typical shoujo MC she's a total M, letting everyone walk all over her, especially her likely future love interest and newly acquired retainers. It makes her into the typical isekai male MC we all hate that just gets dragged along by everyone else and has no will of their own.

There is of course the constant worship of her beauty combined with her misunderstandings, this is probably the comedy that's allegedly in this novel, I don't see it though.

This novel just rubs me the wrong way with no enjoyment gained from reading so it can't compensate for the writing which is below average. <<less

The fluffiness that can be a healing at the start seems like a dream after a few more chapters. I know she's a demon (since she repeatedly say so herself) so I guess it's my fault that I didn't prepare my heart for the dark side.

And as the story continues, I wonder where the fluffiness go. It gets darker and darker ~

Also, I'm not sure about the others but I don't ship her with the kuro, a yandere or any other boy/man around her. They're all possessive deredere, to the... more>> point it's creepy. <<less

This novel is really good. It is a string of world/ideas woven into one, connected by one funny little girl. The ideas themselves are not original and actually the overused ones, BUT, what's good is how the author write the story. Although almost everything about it is similar to the other novels out there, but she/he managed to make us (me) hooked. The writing style is lighthearted and connected enough for you to immerse with the story (I don't know how to say it well). It gives us (me) enough... more>> space to imagine and I'd love to think that the story so far is made for a greater world (story). And, above all, the main character is just too lovable! Her stupidity is cute and the contrast is just too much (don't want to spoil it in my review). Anyway, she's not like those annoying MC, at least in my mind.

This review is filled with too much personal opinion (if not all), not to mention with poor selection of words, but I just want to say something for this great work. <<less

This novel is narrated like the novel "Kenkyo, Kenjitsu o Motto ni Ikite Orimasu" and "Dragon Life" which makes it fun to read and easy to understand and by the looks of it, The Translators is also having fun translating it so Keep up the good work :).

For now ill give it a 4.0 as I'm still at the beginning but best regard to the translators :)

If you look for a laid back story, with fluffy character, mix in among an an aceptable amount of gore, action, character outer look descripbe and can be enjoy at slow pace, this is the novel for you.

Using the same "Reincranated into another world", it's a fresh breath to take on if you bored of main OP protag that are male. Yet if you take a look on a 3rd person prespective, the MC is actuallly reasonable by her mixed, a little twisted personality between a modern, high moral high... more>> school girl and a fluffy, cute but yet life-threating Demonic being.
Bytheway, here are spoilers (watch as your own risk) :
- She ended up stop the human- Deamon war and meet High ranking Demonduke, and end up return Geass back-in-time in the very begining of his former life while nulldify the contract Geass made with Demonduke.
- After that, she finish her meal with her half-sibling sister and turn her almost emotionless.
- Later on, she clean up the meal with the Demonduke as dersert while being taught by the same guys she met in her dream.
- And finnally, by some flag triggered, she return to modern society (where she had been once). End of Book 1.
And book 2 would be... well, you can guest it yourself. <<less
