The translation is excellent.

The story is sweet but rushed. There are too many elements for a novel that's only 28 chapters. So many lose ends.

The MC is likable. The MC and ML fall in love in a natural way and not because of their "genders". A big plus.

The part about Earth made me wanna cry..... so sad.

Overall, good for a short story.

The story has so much potential but unfortunately it was cut short.

So much could be developed from the existing premises, that's why I gave it 4 star.

If you really wanted to read about how the future discovered the food that just attacked their tastebuds, that immersive experience when reading about how the chef cooked the food, the hunger that got to you after reading the chapter; I suggest you read "The Film Emperor's Daily Live Cooking Broadcast" instead.

This novel was too short and wanted it all. The future with no good food, the bamf chef, the ABO world, and the royal ML.. It failed to deliver. The faceslaps felt unsatisfying. Their relationship were rushed.

But the translator... more>> was great! So I'll read this until the end. <<less

3 star because the ML threatened the MC life and ML sexuality discrimination towards omegas.

From what I understand, the MC was from the past, which then his consciousness is transferred to a clone of Klein which is a defective product that's why he is alive yet not alive.

Err it's not that I don't like the story but there's not much fluff moments which is literally what I came here for lol.

Very short novel.

While reading the novel I kept wondering how the author was going to solve all the plotlines she opened up: political power struggle, intergalatic war, corrupted chef association, food competition, food streaming, transmigration, ABO setting, mpreg, royalty, etc etc but... basically the author didn't :D She just pretty much summed up that ML is a prince and therefore everything is solved and then MC married ML and lived happily ever after. Plot holes galore.

I know it's a short novel, but even short novels or even one chapter novels... more>> should have a proper beginning, middle and end.

The characters are cute though, and because it's a short novel they don't get distracted by topics such as omg I transmigrated, where am I, what is ABO, do I like men, etc etc. No real villain at all in the novel though author name drops several potential antagonists and their possible storylines but a lot of them disappear after that one or two chapters and are never fleshed out. <<less

Finished within a day of reading. It's a short story with enough fluff.

But I'm kinda not happy with the ending. I was hoping to see more but suddenly found out I'm at the last page. Argh.

It's good enough if you're looking for a quick read.

Giving it 4 star cause it's not perfect enough for 5. But I don't mind giving 4.5 if possible.

SO CUTE! As a foodie, I really enjoyed reading about the cooking process & idyllic life on murdo that the protagonists could enjoy. I also felt that this was a really chill abo story (not very much dog blood), which I did enjoy. The romance was very light and relaxed, unhurried like a flower slowly unfurling its petals. I was especially appreciative of this because this! Is! How! Romance! Works! In! Real! Life! Sure, sometimes the MC has an 'indescribable charm' or 'outstanding looks' or some other seductive feature (cough... more>> omega pheromones) that makes ML fall for them, but in this case, the romance comes from the proximity of cohabitation and living together harmoniously. I feel like the ending was a bit rushed (especially the explanation of XY's background), but overall this story was very peaceful, very cute. Solid 8.8/10 from laozi.

(if you're looking for something action-packed and exciting though, don't read this with high expectations.) <<less

I read "The Film Emperor's Daily Live Cooking Broadcast" before this novel which might have affected my judgement. The premises are way too similar with things like the Chef Association and meteor shower being worth 10, 000 as reward on the broadcasting platform. There is even the Academy of Science... All these similarities made me look up whether it was the same author for both novels which turned out that that is not the case.

At least, there is one difference that this novel added which is the ABO world setting.... more>> But that's about all.

There isn't much drama. If I were to describe this novel using a dish, I would say that it's like cucumber salad. Take that however you want. But cucumber salad... Light, but not filling, good as hors d'oeuvre but lacking as main course.

However, if you are searching for an easy read for in between longer novels, this might be it for you. <<less

One of the few isekai novels into the ABO world that had a plot somewhat fully fleshed out. With 6 technical gender possibilities, the MC doesn't know what he is because his original host's identity is very mysterious.

Like many Chinese novels, a lot of the story is written about the Weibo\Twitter like social media.

The MC is poor, so he becomes a food blogger since the world has become monopolized by health drinks. Of course, most people don't know what old classical Chinese cuisine tastes like much less hot pots. In... more>> the processes, he rescues an Alpha with amnesia. He recruits the ML to be his coolie for manual labor and guarding him.

The plot is relatively simple, and the romance doesn't really have any tension.

Overall, it's a cute plot and both characters are direct about their stances. There's not too much focus on the ABO culture other than some bathroom and other gender jokes. The food wars was resolved relatively easily. Actually, without the ABO plot, it would have fit any domineering CEO type of novel that caters to the wife. <<less

I absolutely enjoyed this novel! The food description was just amazing! I kept imagining it in my head how it would look like and taste like! I liked the MC a lot, he made due with everything he had available to him. He was confused about his gender and entered the wrong restroom, even when his heat took over all he said was help me! The ML was just super protective of him. I liked how the ML's coldness dispersed overtime, as he didn't believe in partners. It was nice... more>> to see how he flew all the way to the MC's location, to take him to the planet earth (what was left of it) as he was sad! Also the ring material he used to propose to him, it was just incredibly sweet! He was so happy when he found out he was going to be a dad, he flew right away back and didn't waste time marrying him. That last scene, where he could care less about being coronated, but went right away to his wife and child at the end, and did a video as they toured the palace was just super sweet! He is no longer alone in that big castle! That whole mystery with his genes was resolved and was quite interesting as well. Thank you for another great translation!! <<less

Short but good. Just a quick read when you're a little bored. The competition wasn't dragged on for a long time. The wording was easy and it was going at a nice pace. The ending was just a teeny bit rushed but it was smooth. This was very fluffy and there wasn't much drama. Mc's personality was good and the food in this story was a right amount along with the romance.

Short, quick and a decent read. I actually ended up rereading it because I forget that I already read it. It's fast paced a little funny, a bit of mystery, food and not exactly a full romance but the start of a romance despite the fact that they are together and have a kid by the end. You don't really get to see a romance develop. Other than ML liking his food and finding MC refreshing compared to his usual company, you don't really get the sense that he likes... more>> him. MC is fond of having ML there... on a lonely planet... where there's only a little robot as a friend... but I didn't feel that he liked ML romantically. Like if it wasn't for his heat and the "pull out" method failing 🙄 I don't think they would have shacked up.

Maybe it's because I've just been on a food novel binge but I was a little disappointed with how active he was. Like sure he foraged/hunted his own ingredients & did the classic internet chef face slaps the current leaders of the food industry. But he wasn't really interested in being involved in improving it for everyone. Like sure cook for yourself but be a bit more proactive and share your knowledge more. His background as an actor didn't matter at all, didn't really need any of those skills. It was really just to say he knew foods of the world like miss author you could have made him a food blogger or something more relevant. The truth about his host body was interesting I wish that had been fleshed out. I must say the fact that they didn't fight some bug alien and end up eating them is a plus. Just slightly disappointed with the MPreg but it was a good take considering the situation. <<less

This is the story you want to read when you're tired of your everyday genre. It's short, it's sweet, and it's feel right.

It does rushed, there's no way its not. But if you just follow the flow and let this novel tell its story, just enjoy the story it's sweet. Too sweet.

MC is not your everyday omega, being transmigrated to ABO world do that to you. He litterally has no experience with ABO, I quiet believe he can be so adapted in ABO world because the gene in his body is gene that has been taken from a deceased genius mecha constructor
