when MC was supposed to go abroad and totally leave and ML was driving him to the airport

I understand that MC lost his emotions and his love for ML because of the experiment but at the ending of the story, I'm so unsatisfied. The MC feels so different, even the ML feels so different. I felt like I was reading a separate story now lol

I do understand that when people fall in love or out of love, their personality will change but I guess what made me disappointed is that unlike the first to mid part of the story wherein the story emphasizes on what the MC/ML feel and how their surroundings is, the ending chapters feel rushed.

Most of the characters you'll read about are also the new characters (aside from ML/MC). The story didn't mention anymore Uncle Ding, Liu Manager and that Zhou bodyguard.

I just feel like these characters helped make the story feel more real and relatable so taking them out at the later chapters especially when MC/ML changed a lot, makes the story feel like it's not the original story anymore

At first, I couldn’t understand how he could be so dedicated to a childhood crush. But when it was revealed that he was supposed to die at 16 and MC changed the trajectory of his life, it became more understandable. It’s like, somewhere deep down he felt that he owed this person his existence.

being emotionless and only liking Mr Lu a little.. Ok they will be together, but one turns from a tyrant to an idiot in love and the other from a smart person in love to an indifferent person! This made me feel awkward.

how did ML get his rep of being into youthful looking and pure personality and being with MC's brother in his past life. I don't really like it when ML rejected MC but it was understandable and admirable that he kept his promise even though he forget MC's face. I think I'll need to finish it before I make a judgement but it makes me have a sour feeling deep down that ML seems to only accept MC into his world just because he wasn't his white moonlight oh well, maybe I went through so much with the MC, it's good ML set his boundaries and know what he wants and doesn't hurt MC further but protect him from afar. I don't mind if he doesn't accept MC but I never like anyone who hurts MC's to end up with ML. ML would also reject his brother's advances but it was said that brother used his body to do it and ML had a great level of responsibility but I don't like that. The plot is alright but feels a bit slow for me but it's good, there isn't much noticeable plot holes. I feel angry for MC often in the story, from the people mistreating him and ML throwing away his food, ML's subordinates not respecting MC.

Anyways no one is gonna read my rambling anyways so imma just spoil everything, MC soon regain in memories in the 70ish chapter and he realized the system saved him 3 times and he doesn't know the reason yet. What makes me like MC even more is that he feels human and he is self aware of most of his problems including his guilty conscience of using ML then falling for him, ML only accepting him bc he was his white moonlight, the system, the crazy scientist, etc. MC knows what he wants and will gets it and beat people up for it, he is also smart and knows when to back off, such a sweetie reminds me of Kim dokja because of how he kept wanting to end his life for a sacrifice.

Two persons, both fated to die cruelly but each sacrifices from both gave them chances to turn around that fate and truly be together.

luo wencheng goes through three lives. He is basically a child on the first one and dies to save someone else. In the next one he meets villains who abuse him, gets tortured by drugs with his life in the control of other sick freaks, and dies tragically. And the worst of it? It all could have been avoided if han ying that bit*h and her family turned themselves in for being human traffickers and accomplices. That bit*h leaves unscathed and still happy and well. Luo wencheng, in his next life, can get revenge but cannot even be with the man he fell for and this man keeps being a half-assed bastard, playing with his feelings and lacking discipline or any f*cking compassion for luo wencheng. He was just as selfish as much as he was generous. Luo wencheng almost loses his life and gives it up to save the man who led him on and who he didn't even know he had a future with. He died before he could even take revenge in the lunatic researcher. In this third life, he wakes up, having been drugged and experimented on like in his past life. Later on, he's treated like he isn't human and has to play along. He is also dependent on a pacemaker created by that lunatic and was even grateful that he's alive because of it? Author, do you want this to be done to you? Is this a fantasy of yours, you f*cking freak?

the author trying to make the ML and MC appear sweet in the later chapters (71 onwards) feels like a sick ploy akin to someone making you eat a jar of sugar forcibly after forcing acid down your throat. The romance doesn't feel as genuine or sincere anymore. Not palatable anymore either and you won't be in the mood for it because, normal people would not want to care about their relationship while they are trying to catch a criminal and get him convicted? Especially one who holds your life in his hands? Why do I feel like the only sober person who felt uncomfortable with all this? Is it peak romance to be lovey-dovey while your lover who has been drugged and experimented on, being treated as a f*cking s*ave, is still dependent on a device made by the same lunatic? At that point, you'd just want everything in the story to end. Before that, at around chapter 70, if you persevere enough, you will get tired of reading. What is the point of reading a story with no turnaround? It's like the author is desperately trying to compensate for all 70+ chapters that took place before chapter 71-75. A smidge of warped "romance" that doesn't even seem warm anymore being pushed to your face after you've been beaten black and blue and fed rocks and pins. Disgusting.

you know when the villains actually get retribution completely? Only in the damn extra and it wasn't even by luo wencheng's hand. Worse? It's only the luo family who gets severely punished. Why couldn't that have happened from the start? Do you know when all the chaos finally ends in luo wencheng's life? CHAPTER 76. My biggest regret in life is that this author was born.
