Let me say that this novel is cute and totally wholesome!

I love the MC's character and the ML? Oh God, where can I find a man like him?

I have a particular bias on this author because four of her novels is part of my all time favorite. I really love her writing style.

The system is just an add on so just immerse yourself the world on their world.

this is such a feel good read! I found myself smiling while MTL reading this and my parents asked me if I got a boyfriend 囧

paigetheparr said it best about this novel! It's a very fluffy read but there's quite some missing chunks in this fluffy slice of life cake lol not too important to affect the story but it gets you thinking once you're aware of them.

ML and MC are just too sweet together that I want to cry from all this delicious dog food (*ฅ́ ˘ฅ̀*) ♡ overall,... more>> definitely would recommend reading for a good time! <<less

I like the story, but I felt it needed to add a few more things and elaborate on other things for example:

The MC family, all we know that her parents value male children more, she has a brother (I think twin brother because I think it was mention when it mention that MC body is from a family of twins.

what I would have really liked is that the MC and her family had met the original family, I would have liked to know how things would have gone.

Very standard. Nothing too crazy in terms of plot. The focus is on cooking, family, and relationships.

Honestly, the past life thing wasn’t really necessary. The System wasn’t too important. I was waiting for past lives to be relevant. Lowkey I thought perhaps the prescriptions available in the System were from MC’s past lives with ML (because she said she felt familiarity when she opened the mall).

I’d say the first part of the story isn’t the countryside. It’s MC’s interactions with her fellow displaced educated youth, her suffering, her cooking, and... more>> her interactions with ML and his family.

Second part is in the military. Focused on cooking, life with MC, making money, and interactions with her neighbors.

The ending did feel like a proper end. But it did feel rushed and abrupt. Especially with the System at the end. However, I suppose there’s no truly good way to end this type of story. <<less

It was interesting but also pretty shallow. I liked the characters, but most of them weren't super fleshed out. That said, they were solid enough to not impact the story. I liked some of them!

This reminds of a Disney Princess story if it was Chinese and Disney Princesses had systems lmao. The MC has the spunk of one, but she's also pretty Mary Sue-like. It's a smooth ride for her throughout. Even with all the drama/conflict with the antagonists, I knew she'd easily win. It was alright to read but... more>> not very suspenseful.

The ML is great. Green flags. The ML's family is also... interesting. Good and bad. I think my biggest gripe is how shallow the villains are. They're very predictable and kinda lame. They do spice up the novel though.

I liked how hands-off the system was. It wasn't annoying or even really present for most of it. Just a plot device. I also appreciate how the MC worked (cooked XD) for what she got instead of getting it all handed to her by the system/cheats etc.

Overall, this novel isn't the best, but it is readable. I didn't get bored for 90 chapters despite the quality not being the greatest. That's quite good. <<less

Awwwwwww..... 🥰🥰🥰

Reading how the FL and the ML relationship progresses was such a heartwarming experience. And I also like how this story shows the different happiness and goals that people want to achieve in their life. But we should remember not to bring harm to others while doing so. Such a nice and fun read. 🥰🥰😊😊

This is a really sweet, relaxing novel. There were a few points where I was nervous for the MCs but overall quite relaxing. The ending stopped at a nice place, I think. There wasn't that terrible feeling of the story not being complete. The characters have a decent amount of complexity, I think. It wasn't a huge amount, but it was there.

8.5/10 90% would recommend.

Simple, sweet, and delicious.

It's a slice of life, there is not a lot of complications, there is practically no angst, the drama is all from other annoying characters and the FL and ML are basically unbothered. The relationship is sweet, I find very refreshing how she shows her feelings openly to the ML.

... more>> The translations are good, there are some inconsistencies with the names, but in my opinion, it doesn't affect the reading too much.

The FL is positive, optimistic and steady. She adapts very fast to all situations and responds within range of logic, although some of her cooking should have been more difficult in those times than what she described, I didn't mind as much. The ML is cute, kind of bland and generic, but still cute. <<less

Simple yet quite heartwarming.

There was no excessive drama in the story. Even there was any, it had nothing to do with MC and ML's relationship.

MC and ML's love was straightforward since they're predestined lovers. Although ML felt inferior at first, love conquered all in the end.

4.5 although for me we still can make it longer.. I personally really like this setting, our MC and ML are likeable.. Not much drama. But yeah.. I think it will be good if author put 1 or 2 drama here.. This story is the one that smooth sailing but still can hooked up, it's fun to read.. And for the translation job u can understand it enough and not make u confused

This is a unique system trope type of novel because even though the FL has a system upon transmigration, she was not really dependent on it.

Aside from that, I was hoping for side stories or epilogue, about the twins, fourth child or lotus, as well as the main couple during their old age. I was hoping for more!!!! They seem to be an interesting angles for side stories.

one of the best MIL i've ever read in 70's stories! For real, ML's mother is *chef kisss*, she's ruthless yet kind enough to ter daughter in law and of course she does justice for our ML!

thank God the mother did not abandon the ML when his leg is limp

i think the first 40-50 chapts the story focuses on the FL accumulates point to heal the ML's legs then once those legs are slowly healing then they are going to marry

actually I fell that the 3rd daughter in law not that bad compared to other stories. But once she went back to ther natal family, everyhting starts to going downhill

i love this story! it's simple and easy to read I love the couple, I hesitant to read this bc of someone feedback said that she hate the MC?😑 bc she ignored the ML?? Duh??🙄 did u read the story??🙄 she never ignore the ML! even when she got rejected by ML! when she confessed her feelings to him but the ML rejected her bcs of his injuries! but he already fall in love with the MC but he don't want to waste time of MC bc of his injuries! MC told him that he will cure soon! but the ML lost hope!, then MC feel sad when she got rejected but she understands the ML so she work so hard to earn points from system so she can buy those prescriptions, so she can cure ML injuries.. while the Captain Han also like her but MC already hint him that she don't like him😁.. and when the ML family gossips that the Captain and The ML are matched or they ship them!😁 then ML feel like he will lose her he also feel regret at broken he can't stand it anymore bc of jealous!😁 thats why he run to MC and confessed his feelings and beg for her that don't like any another men!😂😆 ma poor baby!😢😁.. Feels cringe. Like her interactions with people so far make me sympathetic cringe. I might give it another shot later, as I like this author's other works, but it lacks robustness of usual transmigration/system novels.

I binge read this one while mtl-ing. It's quite a good read actually. Minor angst and some repeated drama conflicts (family ones?)

The repeated family drama kinda made my mind ache. Like aren't they separated? Coz, it doesn't really look like one to me. It just feels like the whole drama thing is nonsense. And the act of sone characters. Uhm, the villain? Well, minor villain that can't be considered a villain. Ahh, did you get it? I mean, just some annoying pests. Coz, almost all of them acts the same. From the second wife, third wife; their kids and themselves as well. Ex-fiance, Friend Commander's wife and her son. They are so annoying like to the max level haha.

Also the story feels so short. I'm not satisfied. There's so many details that wasn't mentioned in the novel. Like the original bodies family. Aside from the first few chaps that their names was mentioned. They never did appear. Not even once. Oh, and mao-chan. He is such a pitiful kid. I'd like to know the ending of that as well since it feels like the author forgot about him after the ml's brother (4th) got admitted to college. He was never mentioned since.
