I'll keep this review short and sweet, much like the story itself!

If you're looking for a cute and fluffy story with a lot of great humor, give this a try! This is a great mood booster. You won't have the deepest of details on this one. The author half sets up a reverse harem and completely waves them off at the end without really logically tying up the loose ends. They just kind of disappear. The ML also really undergoes an abrupt personality change from 100% hilariously arrogant (though definitely... more>> crushing without realizing it) to shameless wife s*ave. I think the author could have doubled the last arc and still had room for development. The translator also was very industrious and efficient with their chapters, but you will notice some mixed up pronouns here and there.

Nonetheless, if you want something mindless and fluffy to indulge in for an afternoon, this absolutely has what you're looking for!

it started off interesting, seeming like the MC was a capable person who could stand up for himself, and a filial child to his adoptive parents. But the story "after the vicious cannon fodder was reborn" is much better at having such a protagonist.

The male lead is not interesting. He has delusion disorder and thinks that the protagonist likes him. This is partially because of the over usage of MC's provocative and innocent appearance.

and then the ML also has the problem of jealousy. It's even more frequent that a lady's... more>> period. Bro keeps saying he doesn't like the protagonist, but says he accepts the protagonist's liking, acting as if he is an abstinent cold guy. Then MC starts hanging out with other guys and he becomes a vinegar jar. His Overbearing president switch turns on and he starts bullying the protagonist. The ML doesn't have a very solid personality, just seems like an average overbearing president.

and then the ML's mother. She's obnoxious, narcissistic, and a stereotypical mother in law from rich family. She is extremely persistent about having a grandson and pesters the MC about it. The only uniqueness is her paying for MC to stay with the son/have a child, but she does it quite unwillingly, making this interesting plot turn boring and unpleasant.

I think there is not enough screen time for the adoptive parents and none for the baby, sometimes I forget they exist.

and then my problems with the protagonist: he is written to be overly soft, overly baby-ish, overly pure, overly kind. But in actual fact he is not pure. He is an actor, and can scheme against the adopted child of his biological family, and the person who attempted to r*pe him. This contrasts with the author's description of him tearing up and acting cute and sweet in front of the male lead, and does not mesh well. Everyone sees him as a good child and extremely kind. If anything, I would say he took over his adoptive brother's role of being a protagonist of a harem novel toying with guys, which is ironic because we were supposed to hate this adoptive brother, but the protagonist also became such a person, causing my dislike to transfer to the protagonist.

these are a few of my complaints. I'm gonna finish reading the novel and see if I change me review.

edit: after reading the rest of the reviews, it seems like the story does not get better at all, drop I shall. <<less

Its like reverse.. The ending was so so but HE 😂

If you like the slow plot this is good but if youre impatient dont read this..

I don't know why but I think the translator just mtl the novel because sometimes I found the words not matching

It's frequently mentioned that the original body has mental issues and slowness, so I didn't have to expect anything smart from the MC.

And then the MC sometimes acts too smart and almost white lotus. He does faceslaps and revenge in a way that leaves people to think he's untainted snow. So my expectations grew. Except the ML, and other possible MLs, start becoming dumber and dumber in his presence. Even side characters become dumb.

There's a CEO type, a Non-Consensual type tr*sh, a Young Master type, a Film Emperor type, an... more>> Adopted Cousin Type, a Want-a-Threesome Type, and it just keeps gorwing the list of MLs. It's dragging it out. Not a single one of them wonders why they're acting so besotted in front of a pretty face. They're all lustful of this slow-mouthed, beautiful milk doll, so they demand things from XQS, ask him copy-pasted questions another ML already asked.

The author repeatedly emphasizes MC's ridiculously beautiful looks, so much that it's starting to look like a copy-paste. Every scenario with each of the MLs have a discription similar to this, even that Non-Con garbage bin had one.

I wish MC's brain problems was consistent. At least then I wouldn't have hoped that progress could have been made. <<less

Well, I always liked cute, naive, and pure shou so this novel is really my taste ¯\_ (͡❛ ͜ʖ ͡❛) _/¯

however if you like the type of smart, scheming, two faced and great acting shou, I wouldnt recommend this to you because its clearly the complete opposite \ (•◡•) /

The novel started really good, it was so funny that I laughed and laughed.

The MC is so adorable and is always pretending to be weak and pitiful.... wait, it wasn't a facade. He is weak, dense, foolish and I actually didn't realize it until like chapter 70-something. I was like: " He really IS weak and foolish, I thought it was all fake!!!" This proves the amount of brain cells I lost while reading this novel or maybe I'm just use to the wolf in sheep's clothing troupe, maybe.

While the... more>> MC is a titanic disappointment, the ML is worse. So bad I went "Aaaarrrrggggg, where the heck are one of those transmigration systems when you need 'em." I was ready to share IQ and EQ on everyone of those brainless characters, even plot-sama needed some. The MC was still bearable but the ML had me 00.000 seconds away from pulling my hair and being sent to an anger management class. He was that bad, I don't understand how some reviews are saying "a bit of narcissism". A bit? More like a huge, humongous, idiot of a narcissist. This is giving me flashbacks that are about to drive me nuts so that will be all.

The author is an awesome writer, the translator did great but with a couple of errors, overall notbad. But let's be real, this particular novel is one of the few that made me go: "I wouldn't read it again in a thousand years!" "I wouldn't read it again even if there was a bullet about to penetrate my skull!!" Yes, my feelings towards this novel are strongly negative. Read at your own discretion, after all, experience is the best teacher. <<less

Its mary sue novel. By mary sue I mean the extreme kind.

It is common to find mary sue in chinese bl. But you would end up enjoying them even if some things are illogical and s*upid. But not this one.

Only thing you get from reading this would probably be a headache. All characters are Brain-damaged.

The MC is smart and mean only in front of villain. In front others he becomes a weak naive lamb. No literally, its not like an act or anything. His brain takes a 180 turn when... more>> it comes to his love interest. The eq and iq he showed to the villain suddenly vanishes. In front of the villain he can easily identify their motives but in front of the ML and others he doesnt get their motive. And the funny thing is he is portrayed as someone who dont really think about being in a relation but is decided by everyone else that he is dying to be in one. A proper white lotus show. Irritating af.

The love interests. There is one one true pair BUT he has a harem of guys just falling all over him. Why? Cause he has an "innocent lamb like appearance, with body that exudes the milkiness of an innocent child, eyes that is watery (?), behaivior like a child, always 'woe be me' expression, feminine features" oh oh I forgot a major one "the miraculous unique ability to give birth" yeah he is UnIqUe and rare ability for mpreg is his personality

TBH I read this for fluffy mpreg and baby moments but apparently the novel dont even properly cover his pregnancy and the baby would not have existed if not to just tie the MC and MC together

I was expecting so much from it.😩

It's not like I don't understand ML and MC personnalities but some of the side characters are so bad🤬 it's making me feel unhappy and angry, without even the benefits of later faceslapping at least, on addition to sometimes poor translation it didn't help the case😑.

I don't like criticizing the hard work of others and I'm grateful to their initiative but I can't tolerate it anymore if you want to read go on there are great comedic moments but that will be all for... more>> me thank you🤗. <<less

Yeah, it was fun. I liked the protagonist's character, and the ML as well. I've had a few laughs, and anticipation to the plot that will unfold. But that was before we get to the bullsh-tt-ng parts.

As I read further, the 'comedy' became progressively annoying, the protagonist also became a real fool, the ML is disgustingly narcissistic and s*upid. I don't feel the 'ML' aura at all. I can't--just CAN'T even imagine him being a handsome man like they described him to be at all, he was like a greasy... more>> middle aged man lusting after a child's body.

Although the villain is very hateful as well for what he had done, but the ML is equally hateful, and next to him were his parents.

At this point, I kind of pity the protagonist a little. He arrived in that world strong, not at all like a 'fool'. But it was like he was infected with a virus, because everyone around him were s*upid people, he was infected as well. He was supposed to be a spoiled son at the cusp of his family's hands, but now he was left here to be tormented by this. Tsk.

If possible, I would like to give 0 stars. But I would like to thank the translators for the effort too, and also to praise the strong start of the story. So I'm giving two stars.

(Tbh, I didn't check the rating of this thing. I found it at the translator's list of novels they're translating and just pushed through it. Didn't expect to be pitted)

Sincerely? I'm a little disappointed. The beginning of the novel was very good, the development was fluid and the misunderstandings were funny, but after the 30 chapters and something, the story began to go full. They had some chapters of so boring I couldn't even read it all and others that I didn't even read and jumped totally; even the final chapters, where I thought I would have an improvement, were boring and boring.

even in the end it is not clear if the MC really likes the ml, because he never said it, it seems that he just accepted the marriage because the ML convinced him that it was a good idea and for the future of the child.
