Very Good! The story isn't complicated. Focuses on the relationship between the couple. It also involves other people but it's not a dogblood drama. It's very wholesome. I just felt it's a pity that Cheng Cheng wasn't dealt with on how I wanted him to be dealt with like having his 3 views collapse or something and regret but I guess it's still fine.

MC is OP. Although he sometimes shows off, he doesn't take advantage of other people. But he's vengeful towards others who wronged him. I like that about... more>> him. He is not a person you can just mess with or bully.

ML is your typical aloof-guy. Cold on the outside, warm on the inside.

To be honest, it's a pity that's there no snusnu chapter lmao. But they are still intimate with each other, so that kinda watered my thirst. They live together so they really have time to interact with each other though it wasn't like that at first.

The last chapter also confirmed my intuition about the MC. It's a revelation and I love it that they are really gonna spend their time together.

I was quite worried with the Author's note at the last chapter. Like, is she/he okay??? I hope she'll be fine soon or whatever.

I still haven't decided on my final ratings as I havr only read up to chp 6 but up till now I will give it 4/5.

The plot is going good let me tell u plot from my pov

So MC father and mother divorced and he went with his mother at age of 1. He lived on planet Alpha which has notorious reputation.

So at the start of story he came back to his father as soon as he came back he was told on the way when he hasn't even met... more>> his family that he has a fiance.

He looked at his fiance pic and was like hmm ok I am not losing anything here so fine.

And as soon as he returned he was to narry him like wtf.

Well I didn't like his brothers either.....

Now things that plus point for me in this novel

  • MC doesn't beg for affection. In most of these novels where MC had just gotten back to his real family he will have hopes for his family and even ask for affection. But he is diff he gives me strong, independent and that kind of vibes so thats a plus point from me
  • Cohabitation do I even need to say more.
  • If ML wrong MC he feel guilty. Thats a green flag. Though ML doesn't shoe care yet. But I can bet here once he fall he falling hard
  • Valentine's day, like they celeb Valentine's Day but its like history got messed ul and now they give veggies instead of flowers. Red and vegetables 😂😂😂. At least got the colour right. But that was a plus point for me.
  • A cat. MC has a pet cat. Boom a multi plus point. And up till now kitty didn't merge in background they show its existence properly.
  • Savageness MC savage af.
So up till now in just 6 ep I like this much hope it doesn't go downhill later on.

But if I end up dropping it will leave a review.

Oh and also I get the vibes that MC might have somee big secret id or something <<less

Didn't like this at first, I was feeling bored until around chap 25

And then

I couldn't stop reading!!!

The face slapping is amazing and I love how it's not 'cringy' like other novels with face slapping

I also love how ML and MC fell naturally.

Plus, it's like you're finding little gems about who MC really is and where exactly did he come from - it's such a fun read!

Other things that I love are:

    • There wasn't really drama between MC and his biological family (they don't have a good relationship but they don't really interact much) which is nice coz most novels run the plot with family drama
    • How ML disliked MC's cat at first but he ends up secretly playing with the cat, running with it and feeding it (when MC appears, he'll pretend not to care but the cat can't lie! It becomes very affectionate to ML)
    • MC wanted to "pursue" ML publicly when they were already together (he posted that he's pursuing ML but they are really together). He'll say things like I'll make lunch for ML tomorrow or ask ML what fruit juice he'd like MC to bring (but in fact, it's really ML that will make the lunch and juice lol hahaha ML just indulges MC's roleplay)
Unexpectedly, I ended up really loving this novel, I bet you will too!

Dropped at chapter 10 due it being too annoying.

The author seems to be of the belief that adding stuff like Mecha and spaceships to a modern day china world setting is all it takes to make an interstellar world, without actually giving thought to what it means to have access to interstellar travel level technology. I found this story annoying from the very first chapter but my breaking point was when the MC had to write a self-criticism letter by hand since he didn't have his laptop with him because... more>> apparently in this novel people have been travelling via spaceships for several centuries but don't even have your average cellphone level devices.

The author is also the type to raise the ML to the sky while dropping the MC as low as he can go. ML is your typical iceberg from a high-ranking family, good looks and high achievements while the MC is from a tr*sh planet, with a tr*sh family. (Let's not think too hard as to why MC's mom was able to marry his dad considering their respective backgrounds and dad's self-serving nature) MC's first week of school and it's not enough that he has a cold, he needs to have an injured lip to hinder his eating and then get sunburned too, because why not? Wouldn't want him to be even remotely comfortable. All this just for some very forced interactions between MC and ML.

The sloppy world building and even more sloppy character interactions together just makes for a very irritating read. <<less

ahhhhhhh worth it!!! Since been reading a lot novels about various transmigration/rebirth this past few months, finally a break with a novel with the characters living their own world. Right fr the start MC had a goal (pls read it I wont spoil) with MC doing his own thing and sometimes showing his skills. ML also slowly fall in love with MC and wants to tear his so called marriage rules that he made hahaha.

A fun read about Their school journey to face slapping villains and finally to knowing mc's... more>> past to what his certain goal. Ml's really supportive, and they had a very sweet relationship. Super cute on the xtra about their childhood. Characters are not 1 dimensional unlike the other review, anyways this novel's definitely a good read^^

please dont be stop reading just because of that user who gave 1 star just in 10 chap, seriously??? Can't you read the tagss??? That's the world building of the author. Yeahh interstellar/mecha but the novel had it's own rules/ by the author on how high the technology there is. <<less

This story delivers what the summary promises.

This is basically a college, young adult love story with a bit of hidden intrigue in the second half to keep things interesting. The romance takes a bit to start but it’s fluffy and cute. No true problems between MC and ML.

MC is overpowered. Things are silly. Antagonists are resolved quickly. Things are predictable but it’s still fun to read.

The story's quite boring and the MC's not my type. The author's trying to make the MC's past seem mysterious but those random clenching of fists are not helping and just feels cringey. The interactions between the MC and ML are also meh.

What's with authors making small theaters that doesn't reflect what's currently happening or the feeling of the characters at the moment? It's like they know the chapters are boring so they try to spice them up with the small theaters at the end even if they don't make... more>> any sense. <<less

The novel, in essence, was quite entertaining. The world-building was adequate, the characters were fleshed out. The suspense and climax were both good enough. Finally, the romance between the two main characters had a good steady growth with cute revelations in the end.

My one gripe with this novel was the translator and their translation. The translation was borderline horrible. Especially the dailogues. Those were horrendous and barely understandable. I hope the translator reflects on their hobby and their dedication towards this hobby.

I read this novel because of the author; their other works are good, so I decided to give it a shot despite the low rating, and I loved it. At first, I thought that this story would be about an arranged marriage, but it was much more exciting and eventful to read than I expected. The novel is interesting, with a good flow and a few plot twists. I don't know how it ended up with such a rating; it deserves a higher score.

It has everything a good novel needs.... more>> Interesting characters, good plot, and good writing. The story revolves around MC, who grew up away from his father's family. His parents divorced when he was too young, and he hadn't had much contact with his father. After his mother died, his father took him back, not out of kindness but because he was cold-hearted tr*sh, and he decided to resolve his business problems with marriage without even considering his son's well-being or his wishes. I know it sounds so heartbreaking, but don't worry, this is a hilarious story, mainly because of MC, who is too OP. I love him. No one can take advantage of him.

This story is so good because it is well balanced. There is a little bit of everything. There are mecha fights, competitions, and school life; there is also a romantic line. Because MC and ML are married and live together, we have a lot of cohabitation scenes, which are cute. And most importantly, there is a fat, clever, and cute cat. Mecha fights are described briefly but sufficiently so they don't become boring but, at the same time, are still intriguing. The love story is also well written and developed; it is a bit slow burn but not too slow. It was enough for the characters to learn about each other and fall in love. There was a small misunderstanding. It didn't last long and was resolved relatively quickly, but it was kind of logical. They are both young, only 18 and 19 years old. This is the first time they fell in love, so they both feel a bit helpless and confused. Sometimes it is really hard to understand if another person feels the same way as you do, especially if both are too young and bad at expressing themselves. And a high IQ won't help you either.

As I already mentioned, MC is too cool; he is a little genius. His past is a bit mysterious, and we find it slowly during the story, which is nice and interesting. He also loves to tease ML, who is cold and doesn't communicate much, so it was fun.

ML was against marriage at first and was angry, so he came up with rules to protect his peaceful life, but let me tell you, he will regret it. MC won't let him forget about those rules so easily. It is always entertaining to read about the couple when one is a troublemaker and mischievous and the other is a cool and rule-abiding person.

What I loved most was ML's ability to shoot himself in the foot. Starting with his idiotic rules, he just manages to present himself badly and anoy MC. But most of the time, their interactions are sweet and cute. They love each other and have a healthy relationship.

The novel has an interesting plot too; it seems that it will revolve around MC's marriage and school life, but from the start, we can see that MC has his own goals, and the story might take another route. MC didn't want to get absorbed in his new life; he wanted to be low-cay, but step by step, he became famous in university and fell in love.
I think this story is pretty good for this genre; it has a really good flow and is gripping. There is no angst, and it has a comedic undertone; it is light reading. Characters, even the side ones, are interesting; personally, I loved it and would recommend it to other readers. <<less

Our ML is genius but our MC is a prodigy

The romance between the 2 seems yeah and no. They are quite normal I guess, they got to know each other by living together then fall in love.

Villains all get 1 hit K.O except that white lotus whos dumb as hell. Still got easily resolved.

Nothing major happens we are one big family between MC and his backers. Everything gets solve easily

This novel is quite short for 100 chapters with the words, but it was fluffy and fun. <<less

I had a lot of fun reading this one, despite the characters being a little one dimensional and cliched. There's an underlying plot point dealing with Lin Zimao's background that the plot builds up to, but the main focus of this novel is really the relationship between the two main leads, and that part is done very well.

The romance is really well paced, and it was still engaging even after they confirmed their feelings. It's somewhat of a slow burn, but I wouldn't say it's drawn out for too long.... more>> Once they realize their feelings, they're both quite proactive. The misunderstandings between the two leads was a little far fetched, as they were basically ignoring reality to think the other wasn't interested in them, but it was still fun watching them dance around each other.

In terms of plot beyond the romance, the conflicts MC and ML go through are a little underplayed by how OP they are. If anything, it's almost funny how OP the MC is without any explanation (at least not until pretty late in the story, and even then I feel like there's just no way lol), but damn does it feel good to have him faceslap everyone who underestimates him. He wins first place in every competition, whether it be mental or physical, despite being a first year student and also never exercising. Not sure how he does it but I want whatever he's on.

Jiang Xuan as well is not only the most attractive person ever seen in the galaxy, but also has the ability to set new records in physical competitions and be the top of his class. Not that we could expect any less from a ML that needs to match the most OP MC there is. If anything, both of them are able to stand on equal ground way above all the other common folk, as they're both basically gods of learning and ability. ML does start off not saying much but don't worry, he does actually end up communicating well with MC.

Side characters are interesting and except for the white lotus childhood friend, are all likeable. The white lotus character is pretty standard evil, and he has basically no redeeming qualities, so it's easy to relish in his downfall. Villains in this novel are pretty cookie cutter, and they really have no chance against our OP main characters.

Overall a very sweet romance with some good face slapping and MC succeeding to win at everything in life. A pretty brainless and fun read, and set in interstellar to add even more cheat codes like medical cabins and AI. Mecha interstellar is a favorite of mine, so it doesn't take much for me to have a good time.

Amazing read. The author did a fantastic job with how the story is executed!

MC and ML's relationship is so sweet and cute. I love the fact that the author started with their relationship first and then gradually unveiled MC's background and addressed their problems and challenges.

MC is op, but not the cliché/what you would expect way. Meanwhile, ML is the typical "iceberg who melted because of a certain someone". Fortunately, I'm a sucker for these tropes.

Unfortunately, I dropped this novel because it wasn't that interesting to me.

The MC is kind of a Gary Stu-- he has some flaws (such as being lazy and often overly relaxed), yes, but he's also really overpowered in most other aspects. He's moving from a poor planet to a wealthy one so everyone looks down on him when he arrives, but he's actually really good in a physical fight and also knows how to pilot and repair mechs. Also, he happens to be good looking, has ties to a very... more>> rich and powerful family, his marriage partner is also very rich and well-connected, etc. So basically the format of the novel is "someone tries to bully MC > MC tries to tell them to stop > bully doesn't stop > MC anonymously beats them in fight / tournament > someone else just so happens to publicly reveal the bully was in the wrong > everyone loves MC." MC is even smarter than all of his professors. Meanwhile the ML becomes interested in MC, while MC is trying to look for someone or solve some mystery.

I got to chapter 61 and there are glimpses into what MC is looking for or trying to do, but it wasn't enough to keep me interested. I'm sure there are reasons why MC is so overpowered, but I don't really care enough to continue reading. Not necessarily a bad novel (although translation can get a little rough), but very trope-y and not my cup of tea. Someone who likes power fantasy and sci-fi novels might be more interested than me. <<less

This ended up being more fun than I thought!

The beginning feels like a typical faceslapping story, with MC being OP and going up against random canon fodder. I thought the reveal would be that the MC is a transmigrator or something but nope! It’s something different and the secrets he’s hiding and the overarching plot was interesting. Nothing too angsty and identity of the mastermind who the MC is hunting was kept pretty well till the end.

Their dramatics and the way they play around was very funny, with genius MC who hides secrets and flirts with ML, loves to tease him and dramatically proclaim his love, while the ML is an iceberg beauty, a genius in his own way, secretly spoils the pets, and supports him in his fun. Well, it's very amateurish and lots of plot bending just to fit whatever the author had in mind while writing a chapter. I took another star off for the translation which was subpar even for edited MTL standards.

It's an okay read if you're not looking for anything serious and you've ran out of other filler stories to read.

So far, 2 stars. Translation needs more improvement, but other than that, am I the only one who's annoyed by the ML, like he's definitely one of those low EQ MLs. Cause like wtf, bro? Do you not notice Cheng Chen crushing on you and is implicitly making rumors that you two are together? Ha. Ha. Ha. Then when someone asks him about his relationship status with CC, he says its private matters and I'm like, bit*h do you not realize how you are making it worse now? You all, I didn't even realize this was from the same author of "We're All Especially Sympathizing with That Man" but this is just as good as that novel. I just checked the author's works and I never realized some of the gems that were in my fave this year were all from the same authors. Except for "Rebirth of a CV Star" that I haven't read, all their works have been hit, not a single miss.

I love both the MC and ML. MC is really funny, I personally find... more>> him charming. ML is the school flower, cold beauty, in my country "kembang desa" and he doesn't need to rely on his family's connections to be famous. This also ended up being an important plot point btw, I really like this author's mind. The plot unveils little by little, everything makes sense. I realize the authors love to unveil the secrets in their story like peeling onions - it's really well-thought.

Their relationship progression was enjoyable to watch. There were misunderstandings (I found them funny xD) but it will be resolved in 2 chapters or so. Once you understand ML's character -- an introverted person who really hates socialising -- you can kinda get why he reacted like he did toward the person rumored to be his boyfriend (not MC). MC is also Gary Stu but I don't find it quite as annoying as other Gary Stu novels.

In short, if you want something short, funny, sweet but still with a little bit of action, I would absolutely recommend this. 5/5

P.S.: if you want something funnier please read "We're All Especially Sympathizing with That Man" from the same author, like I promise that one is a hidden gem, I laughed in public bc of that novel lol. <<less

A must read. There's an actual interesting plot, and it's great that there's some sort of intrigue, we discover the truth little by little that's it's not a simple MC are forced to marry ML for the family money. And the bad guys are not the evident ones. And very interesting dynamic into the main characters relationship!!!

it’s definitely a good read, basically the typical op MC and op ML trope. I loved how their feelings of love gradually developed throughout the chapters, like it was all perfectly reasonable.

there’s not much to the plot, lots of face slapping too. There was no definite villain, just a bunch of cannon fodders. I stayed for the fluff and it did not disappoint for sure, it had me giggling and kicking a lot lmao.

I feel like the quality of the writing suddenly drops around chapter 70-80. Like from the beginning the writing isn't the best but it's decent and the story is enjoyable. Then once their relationship is sorted and the only thing to concentrate on is the conspiracy plot, the story goes off the rails. It feels like a completely different story that's also in fast-forward. I don't know. A lot of people seem to have enjoyed the story regardless, and like I said the beginning is good, so If you're interested... more>> go ahead and try it.

I'm not giving this an official rating because I feel it wouldn't be fair, but it's a 3/5 for the disappointment I feel. <<less
