Pei Shaoze unintentionally heard about a novel called Accidental Mark. Once he woke up, he found he had transmigrated into the alpha scumbag in the book, Pei Shaoze. Short, perfect and sweet. The MC is a truly wonderful human being, he proved to alway have the ML's best interest at heart and was so considerate of his dreams and career. I greatly enjoyed this novel, it's a great read when you want to relax and read some fluff.

Sometimes it feels nice to get off all the roller coasters and relax on the merry-go-round and that’s exactly what this book is. Cute and sweet story with The Perfect Man™️ as the protagonist, having all the hot qualities of a “dominating intelligent CEO” character but absolutely zero of the bad parts. Not much happened but it wasn’t boring. Highly recommend if you need a break from angst.

enjoyed it completely. I agree with the reviews that said it gets a bit boring at times and that its smooth sailing, but thats what I like about it

everything youd expect from an ABO novel is nowhere to be found. Shou protagonist? We get a workaholic, golden finger gong MC. Shou goes into heat and gong forcefully marks him? With strong self control, MC resists the effect of an omega's heat and it starts out with little to no misunderstandings.

my heart has grown weary from all the dog blood ABOs... more>> out there. Its like drinking water after having been dehydrated for months- its something seemingly simple, but at that moment was life saving. Not to mention the fact that this even tackles many of the brushed off issues in ABO; betas being perceived as unimportant with little to no exposure to romance. Its always alpha x omega, but this novel right from the get go tells a story about a beta liking another beta!!!

because the shou and gong didnt have s*x, all potential issues and drama that wouldve followed were solved in advance. They maintain a respectful big boss and newcomer artist relationship, where the MC is pretty clear on treating him the same as other artists in his company. Theres no favoritism, thus no rumors about scandals!!! <<less

Normally I avoid omegaverse stories since I dislike the typical tropes, but this one sounded different and interesting enough to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. It was sweet and interesting, and avoided or subverted most of the omegaverse tropes that made me nope out of my previous attempts at giving the setting a try.

this was such a f*cking sweet read. 😭😭😭 it's the first time I've felt satisfied when it ended and not sad/wanting more. It was perfect. :') this novel gave me more insight into what a producer does and I can really feel the amount of effort the author did to research that and I rly appreciate it.

the MC and ML are so compatible. They each strive to help each other and their existence is fuel for them to improve themselves for the other and I love it so much.

So so so so so fluffy. At times a little superficial for me because the couple was extremely OP so the stakes felt a bit low. Nonetheless, extremely heartwarming and adorable.

How to say this, this was fine but it just lacked any deep feeling. I know that it's meant to be purely enjoyable fluff, but I have read truly amazing pure fluff before that still managed to be deep and emotionally exciting/enthralling. This just left me a little cold, it was just OK. I do think the main character is kind and his mind is relaxing to delve into. That is the most I can give this one.

A fluffy sweet light ABO Novel with no forced relationship or the typical abuse relationship where the omega has nothing to say and follows the alphas will because of pheromones. You get finally a responsible alpha with self control who isn't only controlled by his instincts.

This was such a sweet and healing novel that cheered me up instantly the moment I read it.（︶︿︶）

I am tired and don't have the energy to write a long ass review but this novel DESERVE one.

Fu*k!! Such a good novel. ML is making my already high standard more high.... I ain't gonna find a person like ML in my life. He is soo freaking good.

At first I don't wanted to read it cause you know it's A/B/O. I personally hate this troop. It's mostly filled with the justification for r*ape. It's basically treat men worse then how women are treated in real society (some places are exactly... more>> like this). So I was literally debating whether or not I give this novel a try. I didn't, for quite a LONG time, like really long. But then I was bored and had nothing to read so I thought why not give it a try? I fuc*ing regret not reading this before. It's such a rare gem in The ocean of tr*shy A/B/O novels.

ML is a rich cold CEO, but not the type who looks down on anyone, has a good moral code. Doesn't excuses r*pe. Basically a really cold prince but with good heart. He had a sister who he loves dearly. He alone made fortune in the family. Took all the responsibility after his father's death. One day, after coming back from a party he felt terrible headache. He never took care of his body as he had to take care of his responsibilities. In the sleep he transmigrated and a system told him about the novel he transmigrated into. OG character was a scum. He destroyed MC in the worst way possible then in return MC destroy OG character. The whole novel is about how ML take a focus on MCs job. He didn't marked him even after system forced him, didn't took advantage of MC in anyway possible. MC became a great actor. They in the end had 2 childrens. After dying ML came back to the place he transmigrated and starts looking for MC.

This novel is honestly a 10/10 read for me. The story was sweet and I can honestly say the pacing was really good. It wasn't too slow nor was it too fast. The relationship between the MC and ML was also really thought out and developed. It felt like an actual relationship!

In any case, if you've been sleeping on reading this, give it a try. Even if you don't enjoy it, you likely won't regret it.

Enjoyable read. MC, Pei Shaoze, transmigrated into a novel as a scum alpha who marks ML, Cheng Xia. In order to get back to the real world, MC has to get ML's "Good Impression" of him to 100 points. The time limit for this task is 5 years.

Instead of following the plot and marking ML, MC calls a doctor friend to treat ML. MC decides to earn points by supporting ML into becoming an award winning actor. MC provides opportunities for ML to work hard and advance in his career. He doesn't hand feed ML, wanting ML to know that his success was from his own efforts.

ML falls in love with MC and thinks MC loves him too. However, MC is thinking that his concern and care is just cause he is growing a "seedling". That is until MC discovers his own feelings and they get together.

omg it's so f*cking cute & ADORABLE.

No misunderstanding, no angst, no dog blood drama.

The characters are honest, loving, communicative & actually HEALTHY & not sick psychopathpsychopaths (tho I'm into psychopaths as well🫡✨️)

Overall the novel was well written and it was refreshing to see a gong which was not always h**ny... It's easy to read and doesn't have any drama thanks to our mature MC and his cutie lover. Though I wanted to see their domestic life more... more>>

I. Am. So. Bored.

In all fairness, this is a good novel. A lighthearted fluffy bl with healthy relationships, with a rare domineering president gong protagonist.

But I am at c56 and there is NOTHING happening. The entire novel so far is basically the slow process of our two MCs falling for each other, with basically no conflict at all. The little conflict/drama that does exist is all brushed neatly away, ... more>>

The whole thing only served to promote their love and act as a convenient plot device to show off our domineering president's op-ness. And after that, again nothing happens. All the drama (if you can even call it that) is in the beginning and the rest of the novel is dry as heck. Entertainment circle novels are one of my favourite genres because there's so much potential for face-slapping and showing off acting skills/looks. I get that this is not that type of novel but what I don’t get is why Chen Xia in particular is the MC of it.

  • He's not that good-looking (described as more sunny and handsome than stunning) so his looks don’t stand out.
  • His acting is not particularly great, explosive, or talented, and although he's good and his passion and spirit has been repeatedly emphasized, he really doesn't stand out much from all the other fresh-blood. The only reason he succeeds is because of Pei Shaoze.
  • He absolutely, definitely, has protagonist armor. Everything he wants/needs just falls into his lap without him having to work for it and that is both disappointing and unrealistic.

    he freaking got to be the male lead of a popular singer's mv just because he happened to be in the same room as her. There also isn'tany conflict he faces apart from his agent in the beginning and even that is quickly fixed (i mean yeah, he did get stabbed in the process but again it was written off as not a big deal and swept over very quickly and it'sback to the sweet plot of promoting love)

I don't deny that he's a good actor, he just doesn't stand out. I also feel like all the preparations he made could have very easily been done by other competitors but everyone else is just that much less talented/people for the role and are basically side characters that act as a foil to his brilliance.

, and I got some underwhelming schoolboy experiencing his first ever puppy love. The synopsis implied (to me) that Chen Xia would play a more active part in chasing his dense domineering president and would be more crafty and manipulative in doing so but so far, nope. And I don't expect it in the future either. Right now I'm desperately praying for og blackened Chen Xia to come back for brief moments so that Chen Xia can actually appreciate Pei Shaoze more than what seems like a puppy crush.

A big part of this rant is because of my usual taste in novels which lean towards the more traumatising scale of things sometimes but I really wish some actual drama would happen so I don’t have to suffer through the rest of this. Apart from that, read this if you're looking for healing after the usual yandere and angst has poisoned your brain too much. It's cute and the writing itself is pretty OK, just very schoolboy love.

But if you're looking for some other great entertainment circle novels with actual drama and conflict I'd recommend

  • "how to say I love you" (also lots of fluff with golden fingers but mc's personality and talent stands out more and I think the writing is a lot more compelling)
  • "After the vicious cannon fodder is reborn" (the MC is stunningly op but he's been through hell for it, he's SUPER interesting and not some flower vase, and he IS the domineering president. Slay.)
  • "Hold on, you're something else" (not completely translated yet but I loved it so much I mtled it. We have another clueless and respectful gong MC with healthy relationships but the shou chases him proactively. It's also another ABO)
P.S. I believe this is probably the first (possibly second) comment I've posted on NU, but I was that sick of the novel and that triggered. If I ever get isekaied into this novel because of it, I might just stab Chen Xia myself. Or maybe I'd stab myself. <<less

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this.

The premise isn't anything special, but the execution makes all the difference.

It's a light read that acted as a palette cleanser for me. I enjoyed reading the main characters and seeing them fall in love. As unrealistic as the plot is (its an ABO ffs), the way they fell in love with each other was natural and lovely to read.

... more>> My favourite interactions were between the alpha and his younger brother, it was nice to read.

My only critique would be that I wish there was more. More interactions outside of the couple, a little more conflict (nothing extreme), and more character development with other characters such as Lin Qianshu.

But overall, I liked it. <<less

I loved it, seriously the plot is very cute and the story in general didn't seem heavy to me, it was very easy for me to finish it. Taken from the number of chapters that can be considered "too many" It was actually very smooth, and I personally finished this story in less than two days. It was very refreshing, I would love to see more stories like this.

To tell the truth, this is not what I've expected but its a very nice novel. I'm not disappointed at all!

The story itself is sweet and warm. We have some cute misunderstandings, but its not drama, its a sweet comedy. I'm very happy that the relationships are not based on abuse or drama, they speak, trust each other and this is so nice. The MC is steady and mature, a bit cute it his own way. I like this types of man, and ML is a really god pair for... more>> him. They work together, help each other and support though the story.

ML is a cute and sweet baby being pampered by MC, but not useless. He can fight for himself if needed and the personality is nice. A bit naïve, cute but serious and hard-working. I'm happy for my MC to have this sweet little orange with him.

The plot is quite simple, slice of life without specific direction of face-slapping or revenge. Its an entertainment story, and I've read a number of similar, but this one has its own taste. Is it because the prospective is different? I'm not sure. But there is really some unique taste than others entertainment novels. Its a good point here.

In conclusion, I can't say its the best story, but this is definitely a wonderful read. I was laughing and my heart was very sweet reading this. Not boring, not dramatic, but very very comfortable. Totally recommend to give it a go. <<less
