I like the way the fake saint was handled. The fake saint doesn't feel bad for the sake of bad. She was raised as the saint and she only lived for the sake of being saint. She could not live if she was not the saint and so she does everything in her power to stay as the saint. Although I felt like she could have been handled in a different way as one of the antagonists she's ok.
I also like the way the characters in the family are written but I feel like it could have been given more time to develop. The twins of the duke didn't immediately accept her which I found nice. However they did interact with her for only a short period of time before becoming overprotective big brothers.
These were not overtly big flaws and it would be a joy to read anyway.
I guess what I really didn't like was the romance. It felt quite abrupt and the male lead a little overbearing. I didn't find it endearing that he suddenly pops up out of nowhere, claims that he loves her because he saw what she suffered through in the past which gave birth to sympathy which turned into love.
In the overall view of things it's not what I'm looking for at the moment. It's a fun read I just wish that it didn't feel the need to toss in some romance to shuttle the point that "this life is better".
