Waking up after a car accident, the first thing I saw was Yin Li’s handsome threatening face.

It made me somewhat embarrassed.

But in the end I had to be ruthlessly heartless, cursing while pointing at his shapely nose:

now, that's a novel that's hard to review... x')

the first half was like an asian drama, quite usual but with a pretty human MC. It could have been cute and fluffy if we weren't in the dark whether the ML has ulterior motive or not.

after that, it's almost tragedy, there's no death to cause it, but there's pain, then more pain...

The last quarter of the novel, it was totally a soap opera, the characters lost quite a lot of their humanity in my eyes and you can almost see... more>> a movie script.

I said many things that can be considered bad, and I do think this novel isn't really on the good side, but somehow, I also think it was interesting on many point, because the psychology and theme were unusual. Too bad, the dances scenes would be impactful in a video, either movie or anime, but described with each movement coupled with exaggeration wasn't really interesting :/

The translation was good, some typo here and there but the meaning was well transmit and it flowed quite well.

Do I recommend it... I don't know x'D it has its interesting part, but half of the time (or a bit more), It was a bit hard to read, either the emotions were too much or the author lost herself into making it making it a drama.

I believe the author made this novel into a movie format, the descriptions of the scenes, the cuts... you can feel it somehow.

tldr : if you don't mind feeling sad for the next 43 chapters of reading, you can go at it. not a tragedy, but you'll follow broken characters or characters slowly breaking up. no worries, it doesn't end on a sad note. <<less

This novel is quite interesting. The story is 1st part mystery and later part heart wrenching and heartwarming. Also quite afew fluff. This novel is worth a read.

Who the hell said this is a full comedy story? I dang cried a bunch reading this. It's a good one tho, the angst, heart-warming, the fluff. A good one, binge-ready, short and sweet!

The novel deserves 4 stars I rated it 5 to help with the average.

The novel shifts tonally in the in the later half, which makes sense narratively but warning there are some like actions that are like very much on the problematic end.

If you are in the mood for angst and don't have a big problem getting around the problematic actions it is a good read and an unique read.

This story mostly talked bout the despair and sorrow, the cruelness and longingness of being recognized and loved by sometime.. To be accepted and cherished.. Its talked by the MC life, her struggle, despair and longing.. You can see The truth of life, the darkness in us..

I loved the ML who always by the MC and loved all her imperfections and be there for her in her desperation times.

This is a unique novel, it has its own charm and meaning of life. This novel shows the life of who struggle... more>> to be recognised and be loved.. Maybe it will not satisfy your imagination but I hope it will at least makes u see and learn in life. <<less

Not for me. I finished it because its short but I feel that I can always drop it anytime. I just hope that there is a POV for the ML. I just dont understand how can he fall to the FL and is willing to do anything for her. I also dont feel the deep love of FL to the ML. Its like duhh and boring for me.

Here you have a typical, mysterious, cold, controlling ML.

And an MC who doesn't trust him and who behaves outrageously.

And she's right. Her gut instinct is spot on. Her boundary testing is super justified and absolutely the right choice for her.

Finally a romance novel in which the MC's creepy behavior is because he's a creep! It's not romantic! He is literally a bad person!

And he himself eventually reforms and admits his behavior was totally not OK*. Does he get off a little too lightly? Maybe, but it worked within the context of the novel. (That's already super spoiler territory from the very end, but I do feel like what he did was, in context, less evil in the MC's opinion for reasons that made sense for the MC even if for other people it would never have been forgivable. (The reason is a super massive spoiler I don't recommend spoiling yourself with, but I'll include it below if you insist)

*with one very important caveat, the proposal scene was not OK and really left a bad taste as the final scene of the book wtf

Anyway if you don't want to spoiler yourself just read the book for the not-spoiler reason that the MC is super interesting, complex, highly motivated, not a Mary Sue, just really really interesting and well done

Really don't recommend reading this spoiler about why the spoiler in the previous spoiler cut works. Seriously, this is a super humongous end game spoiler, I really strongly recommend going into the story without reading it.

fine if you really want to spoiler yourself I do think that him kidnapping someone who hated her life so much she was suicidal, and thereby giving her, unintentionally, the chance to build a life that made her happy, does make it possible to forgive the bit where he kidnapped her. Even though his intentions were evil and the sheer shamelessness of pretending to be her fiancee is mind-boggling, once she already fell in love with him without her memories I understand why she was willing to forgive him when she had them back. I don't think it would have worked had his sister really deliberately sabotaged her legs.

I read this book in one sitting.

Thank you author and translators for bringing this wonderful novel into my life.

I’ve always been drawn into amnesia plots. Certainly, there are times in my life where I wonder what it would be like to have amnesia. And I’ve often thought about writing a fanfic with the premise of the protagonist having an amnesia. I’m just a sucker for this type of trope. This novel executes this trope deliciously.

Like one of the translators have said, one gripe I have with c-novels (especially if the protagonist is a FL) is that the ML always falls in love first and their devotion is much greater compared to the FL. Or if it’s the other way around, the ML would have negative EQ.

I was looking for a novel wherein both the FL and ML would fall in love with each other at roughly about the same time. And this had it!!!

For me, this is like a breath of fresh air and a hidden gem in this site (maybe I’ll start a list of those).

I really like this novel. The characters are cute with a good compatibility. The ML doesn't bully the FL like in most of the novels.

You follow a woman who lost her memories. She try to understand and find a sense in her new life.

It's well written. You grow with the characters sometimes through humor, sometimes through drama. Really interesting.

Thanks for the translation and for the beautiful story.

Hem.. it was good story.... nice MC and very human nature ML. In this story the MC lose her memmory and find that she get a fiance who dont have any feelings for her. with the companion of her fiance she will find her memories. Who is she, who is her fiance and what happened witb her. For me it was a great with painful feeling when I read it.
