While enjoyable because of the lack of damage power in the antagonists as well as the cute sis-con brother (original ML), there were some exceptionally awkward things in the novel.

For instance, whether it be the author or the characters — I felt like there was some sort of kink towards dying people or the "look of sickness". This is a judgement I have made after observing how every time the FL spilt blood (which was so so so often) everyone around her would basically be in awe. After mentioning... more>> her thin and pale frame that looked very haggard, she would be called beautiful and fangirl/fanboyed over. I found that extremely weird.

Another thing that struck me was the misguided understanding of "Autism". The author clearly didn't know anything about it — or perhaps was going for behavioural changes as a response to trauma/ autistic like behaviour due to trauma which could be treatable — but they kept classifying autism as an Illness and mentioning how the girl who was autistic would "get better".

The ML (not the brother) was too overbearing for me in the beginning, which is saying something because I welcome a lot of things with open arms. However the ML still felt very controlling and in my face even for my taste. Then again, the FL was written to not mind it to the point of actively attempting to run away - so I suppose there is someone for everyone.

Finally, I don't know about anyone else but I felt it was extremely weird that:

More so a 3.5 but I rounded up as it wasn't bad it was just a bit bland.

The enjoyable points were her interactions with her younger brother but I'd say that her chemistry with the male lead was barely there. Most of it just consisted of her holding back mouthfuls of blood and him holding her because she's 'novel'. However, it was an easy read and quite enjoyable, being exactly what you'd expect from a transmigration into an actress novel.

It’s a cute story, it’s a normal trope of overbearing ceo snd soft cuddly little wife. There not much dog blood, but alot brainless villains (as always) a good round of face slapping and overbearing op ML. There’s not much background build up or anything much explanation of MC or ML background or how ML body is like that. So mostly the story is about MC get into entertainment, face slapping, and protect by everyone. MC and he brother interaction were indeed very cute, even with the netizen. But... more>> usually interaction between MC and ML are actually ML overbearing, not very emphatic, abit crazy, jealous and very controlling. And MC just just went along with it, even she feels uncomfortable and vomiting blood every times ML comes close. Lol. (Dont get me wrong, ML does care for her and very protective of her but in a very op way. Lol) But later on author kinda explain because he was born into this body constitutes, big op influential family that he has no concept of those “ feeling”. But later of course because of MC influence he change abit. (As MC once says, she love dogblood and drama but she didn’t want to be one in real life) so it’s a fine fantasy read if you enjoyed this kind of trope. Thank you <<less

I'm always weak towards transmigration novel genre, especially the kind with many face slapping moment. This novel is surey one of them. I know the plot will be nothing new but somehow, I still enjoy it so much.

Like almost all other transmigration novel, this novel revolved around MC, who transmigrated into a manhua that she created herself. She worked hard to survive in a new world, met the villainess that gave her a hard life, met cold/aloof/overbearing/rich/handsome ML, managed to face slap the villainess then defeated her completely, and finally... more>> happily ever after. There's also a cute little brother (Ji Lin) who always acted like a puppy. He's quite cute though.

As to why I gave this story 4 stars:

    • I don't like how MC interacted with ML. ML was so overbearing and forcefully invaded MC's life when she clearly was uncomfortable with it. Also, they fell in love with each other was so out of nowhere for me. They rarely met and communicated with each other. He indeed often helped her and even saved her life but still, their relationship wasn't well developed enough.
    • I don't know what the reason of original FL (Xu Qingwan) 's rebirth. Although the original Zhou Siyu tried to antagonize her in the original story, she still had her happy ending with Ji Lin so I don't know why she was given a second chance. Honestly, I don't like how the author made her a villainess.
      It seemed a bit forced. But I know that the author needed a villainess to elevate MC but I still hope that it wasn't Xu Qingwan.
    • Where was Yu Ling? She went MIA after MC met ML. It's a pity though because he was one of the first friend that MC obtained after she was transmigrated. And her daughter was cute too. Also, remember when she mentioned that someone she knew had a bad luck but in the end she didn't disclose it to MC? I thought it was ML but after reading this story for a while, this topic was never mentioned again.
    • I thought MC's vision of people's luck could add a little something to this story and made it more interesting. Sadly, after Yu Ling's daughter case, she never help anyone again. It didn't make sense that she always met people with a good luck and got benefit from it.

This was a quick, easy, and basic story. The main character was cute enough and the male lead had some growth. I enjoyed the brother sister duo the most, but overall a good story.

Ok, so, MC is a good FL, she’s funny, smart, doesn’t get miraculous powers after transmigrating, and indeed, is very down to earth.

ML is a typical modern tyrant, he has his difficult past that explains why he has such low EQ but it’s still typical tyrant behaviour between he and FL. It’s bearable because he never does anything bad to her or those around her without her consent (besides the unintentional sickness, but he doesn’t know that and he always gave her the best medicines) and when the time came... more>> for him to understand his feelings he did took some time for both him and her to get it together (even if he did it in a kind of abrupt way).

The solution for the conflict was kind of too simple to be acceptable, but I guess this story never tried to be the serious kind, as it’s full of other ridiculous set ups.

There are good female characters besides the FL, even one that started as a bit of a rival, and the half brother is the cutest!

Recommend it for a quick and easy read! <<less

It's fine. Definitely deserving of its current 4 stars rating. You will either be okay w the male lead or you won't. There is no r*pe, but this is the type of ML I expect a "r*pe to lover" novel would have (extremely posessive to the point of possible abuse). I wish there was more to him, but there really wasn't and the solution for the couple's problem (the female lead will get very sick if she gets near ml) is not satisfactory to me lol (it's not bad...)

Love... more>> the FL + her brother's relationship. Goal! Cute! Adorable.

We do technically have a second love interest, but he doesn't really do much but bring plot forward via jealousy. I WAS SHIPPING FOR THE BROTHER + SECOND LOVE INTEREST SO HARD! I really thought they will be our second couple lol none of the original love interests for the brother is good now. They are very closed friends + the second love interest seem to be protective of the brother (he scout out the female lead to make sure she wasn't sketchy --> how he fell in love I guess?). I WAS SHIPPING HARD!! But aye~~~

1. Why ML likes MC? What is the motive? I don’t know is it just me skipping it or it is not clear

2. Why she’s so afraid of disclosing herself as an author in her own manhwa even to her own editor? MC so indiscisive that she thinks she supposed to not be casted as a FL in his own manhwa adaptation but then she accepted the roles! Haha makes me laugh

3. Why the scheme that OG FL is so s*upid? I seem to be thinking that she’s just too s*upid even though she’s rebirth

I love how ML immediately determined that MC was his person. The chemistry between the two is so cute. The brother is the best as he tries to get the ML away from his sister.

Good read just some plot holes.

Also couldn't really feel the chemistry between both MC and ML cause ML always did what he wanted and NC didn't really have a say in it.

Best character in the novel is the MC's brother, he's the cutest in the novel!!

I just love it. Compared to other novels, the romance in this novel is well thought out. It's not to fast or slow paced. And at the same time the plot develops smoothly.

The characters are well developed and the author takes the time to explained their thoughts and feelings, so that we better understand their actions, without feelings like the development its rushed.

Omg. So good. Very good!! Stayed up until the sun rose reading it good. The quality translation is only up to ch 70.1 (as of writing this) but I found the mtl and couldn’t wait so I read the last 20ish ch there and I have read mtls that were actually nice to read but for this novel, I def recommend waiting for the real translation! So cheers to the hardworking translators!!! We love you beeches!!!!! (But also cheers to mtlers cuz my lazy azz could never)

To be honest, I think this is more like 4.5 simply because the character interaction is just too funny and entertaining. Outside of that, I would rate it 4.

It's somewhat unique because the brother sister relationship is so fluff and funny. I haven't found any other novels that has sufficient and nice bro-sis interaction (My Whole Family Are Villain also has some but the brother was more like n-th side character than anything). But I have to say the ML feels a bit weird. Sometimes I just had to cringe... more>> and grit my teeth when ML is in action. There are definitely some supernatural stuff so I added the tag. In the end, it's still a fun read about face slapping and FL being Mary Sue (just what I need during this time).

If you like the ML and FL interaction, I suggest Spending the Villain's Money to Extend My Life. Sometimes they kinda feel cringe too but still fun nonetheless.

For the translation quality, it started out really good, but the next one is more MTL flavor, so you sometimes have to piece things yourself together. But overall, it's still ok.

I was really interested into reading this but the ori!FL and the mom's scheming mind kinda runed the plot for me, that's why I don't want to continue reading but some things I really liked in the novel.. That is the interaction between FL and her siscon brother, the brother was too cute lol, the little autistic girl was also cute! The ML wasn't much around the chapters so can't gudge him too much and fl's character also seemed okay..

A very quick read, and the raws are very easy to understand. My biggest gripe would be the ending. It was so abrupt and caught me all the way off guard. I wish there was at least an epilogue but nope. Otherwise a great read for little to no real drama. There were no misunderstandings in terms of people trying to frame one another and all of the issues were solved relatively fast. The longest lasting plot was the romance and it wasn't even that deep.

This is a cute and fluffy story. The sibling interaction is absolutely adorable. Romance isn't as focused on in this, feels like but MC and ML both treated the other as someone different, but didn't link it to love or like. The MC's character wasn't annoying, she had a personality that didn't care about what others did so long as it didn't bother her.

There wasn't a lot of drama involved, and I do like how MC continued her previous occupation as an artist/mangaka even though she was doing so... more>> well in the acting industry. I just wish there was a little more focus on the luck clouds.

I would really like to know what was the root cause for ML's evil/bad luck cloud... really wish that the author had the MC touch the ML's black cloud to help him turn it over into good luck. or maybe in an extra explain why the two were ok afterwards, or if ML's luck cloud turned purple or not after they papapa >///<
