Masterpieces

Masterpieces
Going on from the first rate, the ones that I think are masterpieces, and should be given a read.

Not in any sort of particular order.
I have added my commentary and reasoning as to why it deserves to be on this list.

Here are also other novels that are not available on novel updates:

Shadow s*ave: A fresh take on normal WN-like worldbuilding, bringing together in my opinion Korean vibes with western fantasy. There is a clear grand theme that the novel is working towards, which is slowly revealed throughout the novel and offers a detective type feeling of awe when a big secret is revealed. The stakes are high, and every reveal feels super grand. The people are real, or at the very least they stick to their characters and motivations. The author describes the feats of the characters extremely well. Like, I feel that MC is a genius, but other characters are absolutely no slouches. I am amazed by the authors ability to describe their supernatural though processes and tactics. I have never read Berserk, but I feel like the author took inspiration from that on how to properly describe a hopeless situation, and still end up coming on top, which happens often. Deserved hype.

If you have any suggestions on other books that are masterpieces and that I should be ashamed of not having included them? Leave it in the comments!

The Perfect Run :is an unforgettable experience packed into a novel you can finish in just a week or two. The story revolves around Ryan, a charismatic yet deeply lonely protagonist. He's granted a 'Quicksave' ability by a mysterious figure known as 'The Alchemist,' allowing him to reset events but at the cost of isolating him emotionally. Every time he dies, he returns to his saved point, and everyone else forgets what happened, leaving him alone with his memories. This unique power sets the stage for a rich, character-driven narrative.
The characters are initially jarring in their outspokenness but quickly grow on you. They're essential to making the story work, given Ryan's unique circumstances. Each 'run' through Ryan's life introduces new characters while also revealing hidden layers of existing ones, making every chapter a fresh experience. Ranking: #4 or so!
Set against a post-apocalyptic backdrop where people gain powers through colored elixirs, the novel isn't just an adventure; it's an exploration of loneliness, choice, and the human condition. It masterfully blends elements of comedy and action, making it a well-rounded read. If you're looking for a story that's both thought-provoking and entertaining, give 'The Perfect Run' a try. It may be short, but it's a journey worth taking.
