But the mc of this novel is very intelligent. He makes schemes that appear to be simple yet are so complicated. The world is full of powerful people who can be millions years old, who consider the mighty dragons as overgrown lizards. The old powerhouses are all incredebly intelligent. They behave like powerful people. The plot is always unexpected. Where you expect them to have a spectacular fight, they will negotiate. Still despite that mc has to scheme and fight against those persona to save the f*cked up world.

The mc is not a nice guy he is basically hi*ler of that world. He nearly Destroyed the mortal world due to his grudge.

The world building is magnificent and the world Looks to be lived in. The mc has a way to break down complex diplomatic situations into simple stuff.

It is a difficult novel to get into. But it is very rewarding of you stick with it. The author wasn't very serious about the novel in the beginning. The first 80 or so chapters are terrible, with your typical clinches. There was a young master introduced. But he gets forgotten soon. What I really admire about the novel is that from very beginning the authors writes a world where everyone is bound by law. Powerful cultivators cannot do whatever they want. If they did that they will be punished by law

From second volume onwards the author writes plots where there are no fights between concrete good and evil. The villians have their own plans, they wanna the world better in their own way. They have their own views. The villain and other characters are all competent. It is a futuristic novel so other civilizations are introduced and handled well. There are plot twists and very memorable characters.

Another thing different about the novel is the power have a upper cap. The cultivation makes it possible for people to speed up their thought process and their reflexes in order to control machinery. But one person can't take on a whole developed civilization. <<less
