The romance is definitely a bit silly, but it's also hilarious and super sweet. The MC inherits his Yin-Yang eyes from his grandfather and discovers pretty quickly that the dorm-mate that he disliked is his own protection from the ghosts. Meanwhile, our self-aware gay, the ML, who has already found the MC to be physically attractive, is slowly hooked in by the MC's sticky-ness.The focus of the story is definitely on the romance. The MC starts off believing that he's straight and there's a rivalry relationship ship between him and the MC. This slowly begins to turn with his new ability — which is also explored dutifully, bringing a little spice to the otherwise soft and sticky romance.Altogether, highly recommended! I didn't read this at first because of the length, which I think is now perfect. And I was also concerned because of the premise? Like I wasn't sure it would be done well. But the author definitely did a good job! Plus, the TL-ers were also great (the TL is available at CG, and the chapters are not password-locked). <<less

???/5!!! [Supernatural, Entertainment, Modern Day] This is a good novel to read while you're busy with something else. I like to use a text-to-speech reader... more>> while painting/playing-game/etc. and I did the same for this novel — at least at first. Its very chill and the humor is quite charming. The main focus of the story is the Entertainment circle. It all starts with an Agent who has just been dropped by the artist he had been raising carefully for a year. At a bit of a loss, fate leads him to the house of a deceased rockstar from 30 years ago. And to his surprise, he ends up running into said rockstar's ghost! After which, through a series of strange events, the rockstar ends up possessing the body of the agent's most recent artist (who had just committed su*cide).This is the first arc, and the main characters of said arc are the CP of this novel. After which, more and more side characters are introduced to fill in this rather large entertainment world. I found it interesting, but not to the point that I could patiently read it while not multi-tasking. So, after I finished painting for the day, I ended up dropping the novel *sneezing-face*. I'll pick it up another day! When I'm up for a longer painting/gaming session. I think it's a great casual read, and definitely worth the try. It's definitely not perfect, and if I were to rate it now, based only on the chapters I've read, my official rating would probably only range somewhere between 3-3.65 out of 5 stars (which is about average for me). But yeah! It's not bad overall. <<less

???/5!!! [Survival, Infinite Flow, Supernatural] This is indeed a great read, and it has a relatively low threshold of acceptance too! I mean, a lot of unlimited flow novels have horror or suspense themes. And it might be a bit too hair-raising for the less brave (LIKE ME xD). With his novel, the horror themes are kept at a minimum (only the first arc truly had ghosts and the like, though there were also some instances that were a little creepy later.)... more>>

Summary: The MC (Xing Ye) discovered that his brother had died unnaturally. And, while he was investigating the cause of his death, he ended up being dragged into a separate space through a QR code. This separate space is a virtual game world (the person's consciousness is dragged in but their body stays outside and no time passes in between), and the task of all players is to find the true endings of all the different instances and make it to the Final Level. During the MC's very first instance, he meets a cute and mysterious Mirror (the ML) that he takes with him along the way.

When it comes to the characters, I think the author did the best! Not only is the cast varied, but they also all have their complexities without dragging down the plot. The romance is a little strange because one is considered a prop while the other is a player, but the author does it pretty well and builds the relationship slowly. As for the setting, I thought it was quite unique! Of course, there are a lot of similar unlimited flow novels out there, but there are several key elements in this one that I don't see often in other novels.

As always, because I read most of this novel through MTL (which is abut 70% readable -- it gets a bit miserable because the MC's strategic analysis doesn't translate all that well, but I bore through it T.T) I won't be giving this a full review despite having finished it. I will give it a star rating though! In my eyes, this novel will undoubtedly be worth 4.50-5 stars. After all, I read it all the way through despite the messy MTL. If you're interested, I suggest trying it out now! It's really only certain parts of the MTL that are not comprehensible. And, if you have a good enough understanding of the plot and instances, it's not too difficult to make sense of those parts. OH, btw. The first two or three chapters of this novel are really awkward. LMFAO I almost quit because of that, but luckily I persisted!  <<less
