Shen Muan is a kindergarten teacher. He usually likes to read dogblood drama novels. One day, his world suddenly merged with the world in the book. He discovered that the kindergarten children that transferred were villains in the novel.

Villain no. 1, with the bun face, milky voice, and blushes when he holds a girl’s hands.

Villain no. 2, likes small animals and doesn’t like talking.

Villain no. 3, she likes beautiful princess dresses and tells other children about fairy tales in a serious manner.

Shen Muan is dumbfounded, isn’t the milky bun villain in the novel? Too soft?!

Thinking of their future, Shen Muan made up his mind to teach them to stay away from the crooked path, so it won’t be like the plot in the book!

One day, Shen Muan with a serious face pulled the villain and said to him “You can’t casually give girls a meal card filled with five million, think about their future!”

A certain president who heard only the last three words.

“Honey, I gave you five million!”

Shen Muan: ????

He seemed to have found out whom this little guy has learned from….

I love it! This is truly a slice of life. This story is not fixated on the love between MC and ML, it is just like a side view. This story focuses on the children in the kindergarten and the relationship between MC and his brother. I want more! The kids are so cute, the MC's brotherly relationship is so cute! If it weren't for them siblings, I would have supported them on a date hehehe. Recommended for people who want to read casual and sweet novels.

MTL: 3☆

Review: 3☆

Very mellow. Not much details on the original novel. Not much details on what happened to the 4 bun villains at the end. Just so-so. I mean, its not that bad. But also not that good. Details were put together very loosely. Characters are not that well structured. The bun villains were not really given enough screen time to showcase their own characteristics. Others were just kinda tossed aside. Also, I never really understand what exactly happened to them in the novel or what made them the villains.... more>> It was very vague. I also dont know what happened to them in the end. The antagonist, well I really dont know what to say. He appeared, commits a crime then disappear.

Spoiler

Antagonist is the ex friend of MC. He's a sociopath and obsess with MC. He was just dropped to be a climax. Its very vague because, he's obsess with MC, but I dont know why he only came back now. Who is he, what does he do that makes it easy for him to kidnap MC and hide from the police, how did he escape, how did he get arrested, what happened to him after the arrest. Its all very iffy.

Sorry for the mistakes, English is not my first language.
Although the reading leaves many things to the imagination and does not define some ideas that are not developed later, they leave the reader with intrigue, although some things are directly related to the plot but are not resolved in the whole reading, apparently It is more focused on the life of the MC saving the little villains from a dark future, which although it is adorable and refreshing, the idea could be developed better.
For my part, it was a charming read, although the plot is somewhat sober and even boring for some it has the charm of children, although most children did not develop much either.
I give it a 4 just for the taste I have for novels with a modern plot and with children, because otherwise it would be a 2 for the strange unfinished development of several important or complementary ideas to give interest to reading.

I almost scared away by the low stars the reviewers gave to this novel. Thank god I don't read the review and just chose to read it and believing this won't be a bad Novel.

And it's really not a Bad Novel at all!!! It's pretty Cute and Funny and Sweet!

The Children being Childish kids but not the annoying kind. Pretty tame really! Understandable for being slightly spoiled because; Rich and They ARE Children!

And MC also doesn't spoiled them beyond what they deserve to get as a child. MC would lecture... more>> them when they do wrong, caring when they need it, and protect as much as he can.

Sure it wasn't a Perfect Novel, but still a Lovely one.

The Brotherly Love between MC and his Police Brother is the Best Part in his Novel though. I didn't expect that but I LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH!!!

This is also only put Romance as Subplot (I'm the one who put the tag in it). The romance only happen in the last 10ish chapter.

Even though the summary wasn't wrong, the story didn't explain much about the Novel that has the Children as Future Villain. It did mentioned things and MC did Changed major thing for the 2 'future' Villains. But for other 'Future' Villains, we can only guess it was in Progress as long as MC can help and also keep educate them better.

Anyway, it was still Cute and Lovely Novel! I Love all the Adult Characters (Except the [... ]), and the Children are All Cute!

I'm Absolutely Loving it!!! <<less

The novel is... very messy. It's a decent read to say the least, and the translation isn't that bad. I really, really have tried to enjoy this novel because the concept is pretty sweet and I'm a sucker for fluffy novels, but there's just a lot of plot holes and mistakes piled one after another that just can't easily be ignored.

I'm gonna say the good points of this novel first so you wouldn't be discouraged to read this.

  • MC & his brother: MC and his brother have a GOOD and REALISTIC relationship (on behalf as a sibling myself). MC cares about him and so does his brother, their interactions are very normal and I would have love it if their backstory was more fleshed out. Also to be honest, MC and his brother have a better relationship and chemistry than him and the ML which really just sucks.
  • Characters: Personally, I think there were too many characters that weren't that much involved in keeping the plot moving. Most of their screen time, (I'm talking to you, the kindergarten parents), weren't needed at all. I was confused on which was which because there were too many side characters plus they had nicknames, pretty useless, and the parents didn't even appear as much even til the end of the story. There were a lot of inconsistent character backstories and mistakes because let's be honest, "why not"? :D
  • Story/plot itself: The story has a LOT of plot holes is very rushed, especially the ending. Chi Siyuan's, Keke's, Ruirui's and Xiao Qi's grand/parents, etc. were relevant for ONLY one or a few scenes then vanished into thin air. The Antagonist himself was a sudden addition, like he for real was defeated off screen even when he was established to be highly threatening, with a not-so-fleshed-out backstory. The climax... was pretty bad and the ending wasn't great, especially with the time skip.
Overall it's a mediocre read and it definitely had great potential, the children were pretty adorable but the plot holes, rushed plot and un-tackled parts of the novel really, really drag this story down for me.

Is it just me, or do I find this novel to be quite random? There were too many things happening out of the blue, and I was very confused as to how and where they came from.

There were also many things that were introduced and left out in the end, such as ... more>>
Spoiler

the MC's and ML's special body constitution, Zhizhi's uncle that suddenly disappeared, the warning incident when MC changed father and mother Chu's fate yet nothing happened to him when he changed Ruirui's, etc.

[collapse]
The logical chain, the inconsistency, and the way things escalated in this story weren't convincing enough, making the story feel strange and out of place.

What disappointed me the most is that I expected more of child rearing and teaching from the synopsis, but nope, that didn't happen. Instead, there were too many scenes between the MC and ML, even though not all of them were in a form of romances.

Although the children also appeared a lot, but did they actually learn anything besides being mischievous and expressing their love for the MC? I don't think so.

The MC himself is also careless and arrogant.
Spoiler

like, he knew someone was targeting him, and that someone had already sneaked into his room. Instead of immediately leaving the room with the child, he just sat there and looked around, being vigilant? He even let the child roamed around however he wanted? Damn. Is he still the same person who knocked out a serial killer? I was so disappointed that I was left speechless.

OK. TBH... What a let down!

If you're expecting some villain reformation and like some sense of how they grew up and change as the story progresses, think again! DO NOT except it in any way. But, if you're looking for cuter kids and interaction with kids, some hints of fluff, good brotherly interaction and (what I felt was) a nice MC character set up, then go ahead and read this. It's quite interesting.

The story is basically about a kindergarten teacher with a high affinity with animals and kids realising that... more>> the kid version of the villains in a book he has read turned up in the kindergarten he was teaching in. The kids aka the "villains" turns up one by one and the story progresses with him interacting with them and just tons of scenes where the children act real sticky and jealous of each other. The male lead turns up quite early to fight for attention with the kids and failing miserably. Then comes the plot where
Spoiler

a psycho ex college classmates does some stalking, threatening and kidnapping.

[collapse]
After the plot is resolved comes some relationship development between the MC and the ML and then THE END!

The writing was honestly quite good and the way the author does the plot build up and flow of the story is decent. The interactions between the brothers were sweet and really different from other stories, and the kids were just smart and adorable! I also felt the each character had a really good and interesting character set up, and they were smoothly introduced. Unfortunately... Sigh.. the high expectations due to the misleading summary has led to this rant of a review.

Honestly, any slight semblance to what I was expecting was when the MC alters some of the tragic backstory of the villains. THATS ALL! It was really really disappointing! And among the 4 villains (I'm assuming it's 4 because I'm honestly not sure about Xiaoyi), only Ruirui and Keke had a kinda proper backstory and fuel for being a villain. Chu Siyuan's was so vague the author should not have even bothered putting it in and Zhizhi is basically labelled as a villain because the MC mentioned that he was a villain (like???). There wasn't even a recap time where the MC gives an overview of what the novel he has read was about nor even any "bump ins" with the novel's protagonist. The MC also didn't do much education on how not to be a villain (sisnce they didn't talk much about how the villains came to be villains) and that scene wheee he tells not to spend that 5 million thingy wells that type of education only happened once and it was on the very last chapter (or the one before)... um... ??? Expectations really really really not met!

The author also has the habit of glossing over some things that I felt was necessary to explain to the readers so that the story would be smoother for example
Spoiler

what exactly happened to the MC's parents, what was the misunderstanding Brother Shen had withe Keke's dad, how that Zheng stalker guy got startled and how they found the location where the MC and Ruirui were held or even how the stalker even got caught in the end

[collapse]

Besides that, the author does this thing whereby they introduce characters and then let them disappear. Like, helloooo? Where are you Fang Xu
Spoiler

who I thought would be the ML or second ML

[collapse]
, Zhizhi and Xiaoyi (the two kids had much much much less screen time after awhile).

There were so many problems with the story but the last thing that pushed me to the edge was the epilogue... what was the nonsense I just read? I thought that it was the turning point of the story (no matter how late it's better late than never right) where my expectation would have been somewhat met (when I found out it was set in many years in the future where the kids grew up) but... sigh. You would at least expect some success story of how the kids turned out to be but noooo it was just a waste of words where (warning: literally the whole epilogue ahead)
Spoiler

Chu Siyuan waits for Ruirui outside the police station (because Ruirui is now a policeman) and gets a free meal because he waited a long time for him. Some reminiscent from Ruirui's POV about how he used to care for Siyuan (urgh I thought there was gonna be some love in the air but NOPES). Siyuan updates Ruirui during dinner that the MC was retuning and that Zhizhi crashed the wedding anniversary holiday of the MC and ML and they should prepare for the worst. It ended with the MC a telling the ML that they should just bring along all the kids next time and the ML agreeing. There was no career development (except Ruirui) or relationship development AT ALL. I thought Zhizhi and Xiaoyi may have ended up together since in the beginning there was some foreshadowing about how he thought she was pretty and he wanted to get close to her or maybe even Siyuan x Keke (the "little brother"and the big boss) or Keke x Xiaoyi (some yuri) or Siyuan x Zhizhi (from enemies to lovers) or Siyuan x Ruirui (tyrant lil bro x gentle big bro) ALAS there were NONE

[collapse]

I didn't read any comments diving in so I was a clean slate reader who went in with anticipation after reading the summary so oops to my lack of due diligence. Because I thought that the high rating was due to the good content, I went in with too high of and expectation and was severely let down. If the rating was like a 3.6 or 3.7 I would have kinda been OK/ more accepting to the sub-parness of the story and the misleading summary. I may have even given it a 4 star as this is to me more of a 3.5 story. But nopes! For all those that rated it a 5 and commenting about the fluff and sweetness and the awesome brotherly relationship, HMPHHH! I means those points are there, BUT HAVE YOU READ THE SUMMARY? Were you not even a little bit let down. Y'all should put the warnings in so people don't raise their expectations especially since it has a relatively high rating.

Hopefully y'all get a kinda good understanding about what will go on and not be disappointed like me. Enjoy! <<less

Its 33 chapter and to tell the truth it's started to get boring. When I read reviews here, I understood that nothing will change. It's basically world go around one person. Everything aside is very vague, nothing explained at all. Story has it charms but that all to it. Everyone love one person other than that nothing really matters. Background stories of children? Why he was able to see their future as villains in form of novels? Lol why do you need it? Let's just write few words that explains... more>> why teacher An An is bothered and that enough. Personal relationship? What relationship? They all love teacher An An that's their only reason to exist. While I don't mind reading about charming person that loved by everyone, I do mind if aside from loving this person everything else go to extinction. <<less

For what it was the story was refreshing and light-hearted. However, the author was just all over the place between randomly getting rid of "Important" characters mid-story (I'm looking at u, Fang Xu) with no explanation whatsoever, randomly adding crime without really investing in these plotlines, and don't get me started on the lack of background for the little villains/villainess. The author tried adding too many things at once and didn't try to make any of them make the least bit of sense.

The only saving grace of this novel... more>> was the characters. Personally, the kids were my favorite part of the story. Chu Siyuan is my favorite character in the whole novel. The other kids were also great and their interactions with their peers and adults were great and always brought a smile to my face. I loved the brother's relationship between the MC and his brother. Nice to see a realistic pair of siblings. The MC himself was good, and did an amazing job working with the kids and adults all fighting for his attention. Super patient. However, He's a complete Gary Sue. Everything about him is perfect. His looks, ability to fight, every living organism loves him, etc. He can do no wrong and if anyone tries to go against him then they must be a killer or crazy.

In my opinion, this hinders the novel a lot. When the serial killer wanted to attack the MC the MC instantly subdued the SK within seconds. Then it's revealed that he has been doing this for years and even won awards from the police for helping them catch bad guys. What was the point of introducing the Sk and giving him this whole backstory only for the MC to absolutely WWE him into next week? To make the MC look cool? Also, this plot lasted 2-3 chapters. This is what I mean by when I say the author adds unnecessary plots that they put no effort into. In addition, the obsession everyone has for the MC greatly hinders this story. EVERY single kid and gay male is obsessed with this man and there's no build-up to this, it happens as soon as they look at him. Do you seriously mean to tell me that after one meet up all of these kids would rather go live with the MC than their parents whom they have known since their birth? This sucks because instead of actually reforming them or us, the viewer seeing a change in their behaviors, all we get are a bunch of 3-5-year-olds fighting for this one man's attention. And that's it. That's the entire novel. The kids barely even form relationships between themselves. They only care about the MC's opinion and how he feels. Whenever they do form some kind of friendship you can barely tell because they start fighting over the MC. For example, instead of working on the relationship between Chu Siyuan and Chi Yi, and clearing the misunderstanding between them, all they do is fight over the MC. There is no improvement whatsoever in their relationship. Never do we get a chance to see Chu Yi try and improve and clear up the bad air with Chu Siyuan. In fact, there are times when he legit says that the only person he cares about is the MC.....

My last issue with the novel was, overall, it was just boring at times. It gets repetitive seeing 2 little buns fight for the MC's attention, crying, and later getting their way. This happens almost every chapter and while I generally love the kids and believe they stole the show, god I was bored seeing the same arguments play out, again and again, in each chapter. I feel like there should have been time skips. Watching the villains grow up would have been more enjoyable because this was about reforming them and making them not do evil things. I don't think a lot can be fixed in a child at the age of 3. While toddlers are smarter than most believe, I highly doubt most of them would remember what their kindergarten teacher taught them 25 years ago. Wish he was their middle school or high school teacher, felt he would have made a more impactful lesson to them and such. <<less

This a good, chill read. Nothing exciting happens much, so very chill. This novel focused more on the children and their interaction with MC.

What I love about this novel is MC’s interaction with his brother, it was sweet and really good

As for the love story? It wasn’t focused at all. Felt like it was something that passed by but still ok I guess

The extra was too short, I was hoping for more scenes about ML/MC

3 1/3 star give four because of the cute buns. Lol. The initial plot I think is good, but as the story progresses there’s actually not very related. Even some characters seem important at first but suddenly disappeared. Maybe its a very short story so there’s not much built up or clear background story. (Like why MC had a unique constitution or he able to “read” the villains story) But if ignoring all these just enjoy the cute sometimes annoying little clingy buns, it’s a cute read.
Interaction between MC and ML is normal (like reality) not like normal fiction romances. There’s are some crimes involved but it was lightly wrote out. The the most disappointed is the last few chapters was written quite hasty and a bit disjointed. I feel actually this plot have alot of potential but unfortunately the author maybe not matured yet in weaving the story. But overall it’s a nice short read but nothing too memorable. Thank you

Pros :

I'm only here for the fluff and childcare. So that's a 5 five from me. The MC is such a husband material. He's good with kids and animals. He has a great relationship with his brother. I would die for a familial connection like that.

The children are cute. They're not annoying and acts like children, most of the time.

... more>> Cons :

The romance is meh, idc. The villain is totally unnecessary for the story. I skipped the romance and villain part. If you want to read a good childcare novel, this is a good read. <<less

Cute but also kinda weird? Nothing is really explained, the ending of the kids isn't completely clear and what was the deal with the principle???

a cute unique idea and likeable MC. At least the story that is shown is good mostly, but it does also feel like there were some ideas but just cobbled together. Also the author completely forgot to add one of the kids in the extra. It would've helped if the villain backstory for the kids was actually given. We only got 2 out of 5 stories.... more>> <<less

The story is cute and engaging but at the end a little rushed.

The children have a stronger role than the ml. And I think that their chemistry is weak. I guess it all comes to small beings love him vs. Small beings fear him, together they neutralise the effect so they are perfect together logic

At the begining the first two potential ML had a great chemistry with each other. So the one with MC is slightly disappointing as children antics overpower it mc-ML interactions.

The villain was slightly sudden as he... more>> has a whole new backstoy while there is already the possibility of mc's brothers police work making some enemies, so I dont understand why it was inserted as mc's former friend as criminal in making.

There is some inconsistencies and plot holes, but all in all it is a good story to relax. <<less

I'm guessing the author's a fan of crime/investigation, and couldn't resist mixing it in.

Also, extra was too short. Didn't feel satisfied with the rushed ending.

Either way, the children were cute, MC, ML, and big bro were likeable characters, and it had a great and interesting premise.
