Six strangers met in a mysterious, enclosed space.

Amongst them, one of them claimed to be a “senior” and stated that there was a cold-blooded “ghost” among them who kills without batting an eye.

How can they escape the pursuit of the “ghost” and escape from this world, this is the greatest problem they are faced with.

Mu Qin: I have a person I really like.

He’s a great person. He always likes to hold a knife and dance in front of me.

But one day, he went crazy.

If the summary made no sense here is a different one:

6 strangers get brought to what they believe is the afterlife. Where they are sent is a old broken down orphanage to play a game to unlock the area and leave. Each player has a connection to the place but one of them is a mu*der. They must find the key before the mu*der kills them all. The novel has nothing to do with spaceships despite the cover image.

So far pretty good. Reminds me a bit of the movie cabin... more>> in the woods. Don’t wonder alone. <<less

Okay, I am gonna explain a bit about the game, I am using MTL so I am gonna use the general name of the game. The unlimited cycle of death is basically consist of people who mu*der before, whether they are doing it for saving people, or even only for defending their self, will be pulled into the game after they DIED. This is the usual or general way to enter the game. But MC and ML did not. The MC itself is like part of the game, he is born from it (I'm not gonna explain the details), and ML is pulled in because someone pull him into the game manually. So, coz MC and ML is NOT DEAD, they got into the game by sleeping. But, it doesn't mean as long as they're not sleeping, they will not get pulled in, okay? MC and ML has different circumstances and I am too lazy to write it, but generally it was like that.

If the MC is the part of the game, and bound to it too, why the game did not pull the MC since he was a child? Why it was only when ML is in danger?

Tut, I am not explain it to you too bc I think I know, but I forgot why too AHAHAHA. Even if I remember I am too lazy to write it.

The game itself pulling 6 people in each world/copy, and the world or the place is actually related to reality, and have some connections with the people that got pulled in into the copy. For example, Orphanage when the 6 player identity is the orphan of the orphanage, the caretaker (abusing the orphan in the past), the serial killer who kill the orphans, the family's victim, the person who indirectly killed someone from the orphanage. Basically, the 6 of them have a connection to the places.

In the game, there are the killer and the human. One of the 6 people is the killer, and the rest is the human. The killer has to kill 2 human at minimum to be not obliterated by the system. And of course, the human has to escape the place and survive. Each player has 1 tarot card that given when player entering the copy. The tarot card can be offensive, defensive, or auxiliary skills. It is given randomly to each player.

Player also can bought card from the safe point. Safe point is the place that player entered when they're successfully escaped from the places/copy/world. If I am not wrong they can bring max 3/2 personal card to the game. And you can also upgraded their initial skill or strength like agility, intelligence, and so on.

That is all about it. Read it for more details. But the game technically like this.

Oh, about how MC, ML, and side characters who is not died escaped from the game? I think it is explained in 110+ chap, too bad I skipped it, lol.

But for those who already died, there is this throne called Butterfly Throne. Basically it's an escaped (from the game) route that made by the system to pit the player. I am not gonna elaborate on this.

Honestly, chapter 1-80 still good for me, the relationship between MC and ML still good. There is not any secrets, hiding knowledge or anything at all. But when it comes to Hospital Arc, it goesssss down ew. I am not a fans of MC who sacrificed himself for ML by cruelty reject ML in pretense to save him but in the end the rejection and secrets only make ML more hurting. I hate MC for this, I know he has a reason, but why don't he just tell ML? Tell ML everything instead hiding hiding and hiding.

The premise of the plot is good, really. But from 80 and up is bad for me. The MC hiding things from ML is not my cup of tea. If the ML maybe know something, or found out a little about what is MC hiding, maybe it would be fine but ML is clueless. He did not know that MC is part of the marginal word itself. And MC only reject ML without explaining anything??? FUNNY MAN.

so I skipped it until the last chapter. Honestly, this novel give me the same feeling as Escape the Infinity Chamber. The beginning is good yeah, but then it goes down hill (in my opinion).

For your information, I am crying so hard when MC reject and push ML away. No matter what the reason, he clearly know that ML loves MC so much, but he still do it to save ML, without telling ML at all.

At that time I really want ML to die, so MC will regret it lol. Too bad, ah.

the ending is the so called forgot everything except the main protagonists, smh.

I suggest you to read this yourself until 80 chapters, and choose whether to retreat or not. I think I feel uncomfortable bc ML supposed to be included in the main part of the plan to escape/or leave, but somehow he become the object to be escaped, to be freed, by the MC. I want them to leave and struggling equally rather than MC bear everything and only hurting ML.

This novel is super gripping in both plot and love department. It's set in afterlife death games where the events are linked to actual cases that affected each person in their lives. The game is a basic survival but from one of the others who's randomly assigned as the devil.

MC and ML have such cute chemistry, it's nice to read their interactions.

sometimes ML goes bit mu*der psycho but MC can tame him lol (poor dudes been stuck in these games for long time). And they really love each other

there's an underlying reason to the death games and why theyre there unlike other randomly put into dystopia worlds so do check out for a really fleshed out story and a power couple! <<less

Hope you guys do give this novel a chance. Tho the first translation had it's flaws, been reading since day one the first TL posted the first translation and she did improve as time goes by, the story itself is really good. I was actually waiting since last year for the first translator to update even though it already been months since she updated, coz its that good.

TBH I had no idea what to expect from the book and yes, the summary definitely doesn't make any sense but if you... more>> read further into the story it would actually have a connection to it. You actually have to read it to find out *wink wonk*.

If you have already read it's prequel "Escape the Infinite Chamber", you might already have an idea what this book is about. Tho the main characters in it are not connected to the prequel, there would be some who might have had a cameo from the prequel.

Since it's being re-translated on CG, I think this would be a great chance to try reading it there.

I haven't read half of the whole book yet so I won't put a rating for now but based on the first arc, I'll give it a 4. <<less

It's not bad. The translation is kind of... not bad. After MTL-ing for myself, it's really nothing to complain about, though it feels like a beta reader would help quite a bit. There were a couple of occasions where something was said in which the opposite was implied, but the fact that everything was mostly understandable is good enough, I think.

As far as the story itself goes, I'm only at the conclusion of the first arc, so it's too soon for me to tell. It is clear that the two... more>> leads love each other very much, though, just as it's clear that we aren't in for any typical white lotus characters here. Things are pretty dark, and I'm intrigued. I may change my rating to a 5 in the future, when I get a better feel for the story. <<less

I love it! It's dark and gritty and maybe they should put up more warning than just survival game 'cause there is no fluffy about this. The only ones playing this have to have some criminal record- not just the civil court or aw shucks kind either.

I like it becaue that darkness kinda calls out the part of me too. The kind that like hannibal and stuff. Hehe.

  1. But frankly it is good.

Aww damn~ I love this one sooo much!

I love how the MC and ML are the only one in each other's eyes and it's super exciting to see that they have a little secret of their own.

I can't give much, other than the fact that the first Arc is really good, but as the other chapters aren't translated yet, I have no idea if this streak will continue.

I can conclude that this story has very good potential, so imma continue waiting until the next chapter's out ^^

1-81 was great but after that... It went downhill. It's pretty good but not amazing. I don't like MC after he makes those misunderstanding with ML.

I wished MC would suffer and learn but ya.

The horror aspect wasn't at all that scary but it was gory af. It still made me tense because MC and ML is not that OP.

All in all, I really don't regret reading this but I think I'd never reread this again.

It's just a few chapters, but I like read this. I don't like read about ghosts and I like detective and mu*der. I'm not sure that it will be good, but I like first arc. It's not boring right now. MC is rational personality, he is cold-blooded (not cruel) calm, can take the pipe and kill someone. Haha. He was military personnel and stronger than usual people. And from flashback I like ML. And if they will be guess killer every "game" It would be interesting.

I Google translated up to c166 but couldn’t keep going. Once the lore comes into play and we keep learning that what we previously learned isn’t true I could feel myself losing interest. Like I started having trouble knowing what I needed to remember and what was false & could be forgotten. Not to mention the story just keeps going.

Seriously this story reminds me of a mu*der mystery show/movie. The killer and motives been revealed but there’s still 20 mins left so you know that isn’t the real killer.

Plus, once... more>> all the lore stuff happens the main couple’s relationship gets pushed way to the side. At least there was a pseudo in*estuous side cp, eventually, I guess. It’s complicated. Just, at at this point we supposedly know the whole truth but there’s still around 3 (4ish) arcs left to go and I’m just too tired for this. <<less

I completed this novel with MTL coz I cant wait for it to be completely translated. Gurl I love this so much. I can feel the love btw the couple, the angst, the sufferings which ML suffers make me cried so much. And even though there's

in*est couple

I feel so sad for them and somehow rooted them to be together.

My only dissatisfaction is the ending because..

the MC n ML doesnt get to meet/ do snu snu moment after separated at their last game. They only communicated thru their consciousness, and thats NOT ENOUGH for me since theyre always SO in love whenever they met!

Its a HE I know, but I feels like its not enoughhh huhuhu <<less
