As a BL novel, its good but as an ABO I think its a solid 5 and so I gave it a 4 rating.

I'm not a fan of ABOs tbh because no matter how much hype there is about a strong MC. All I see is a 'relatively strong' MC who's always weak compared to his alpha and does whatever the alpha tells him. No opinions of his own. Just like typical average MCs. But this novel is genuinely different and best in the ABO category so far from all... more>> the novels i've read.

Li Cheng was strong, independent, badass, cheeky and charming! He really was! Because of my low expectations and bad reviews I had thought he would be the same ol' MC but I'm glad that I was wrong in this aspect! He had his own opinions. His own strengths. He had charisma and I'm proud to tell you that he didn't lose any of it even after he got into a relationship with the ML! And whats more he wasn't your typical strong from all but weak from ML type. It felt like he was on equal footing with the ML and had his own strengths that the ML couldn't beat him in like swimming, having more stamina and fighting. He wasn't an omega but an "omegA" xDDD. BL aside, but in ABO genre, he is literally the best i've read! Period.

Usually the ABO's make the ML so Domineering and dominant or OP should I say that bruhhh I don't like them at all. They are always superior to the MCs even in fields MCs specialize in just cause they are alpha (duhh). They feel so unreal! But Xiao Yiheng? I wanna give him headpats!!! Idk what was going on with people who insulted him in reviews but I think he is the best boi. Just because he was reticent didn't mean he was cold and unfeeling. He was potrayed just as he was supposed to be, like a 17 year old! When the MC asked for temporary mark, he was so happy just like a pure small child, presenting his heart thinking i'll give you whatever you ask for! He teased the MC so cutely! But he never harassed or used his pheromones on him and boi his confession literally had me blushing like a tomato.I particularly like how he didn't try to control the MC after getting in a relationship and had his own weak points and wasn't omnipotent at all! The scene where he flew over to the capital and stayed in the cold for hours just to have a glimpse of MC was just sooo PRECIOUS!!! I loved how he didn't mind MC's bros and little sister calling him sister in law. He pampered the MC and the MC pampered him in return!He was really different from other MLs i've read (even besides the ABO) and I like him so much!He was really fleshed out as a character.

The couple AO dynamics were really great as I mentioned above with both being equal and having their own strong points! They both were super possessive too! Both ordering each other to not get close to others and so xDD (unlike the other novels in which its only the ML). The plot was almost entirely focused on their romance and growth. Them choosing their paths and achieving what they worked hard for. The side characters weren't much involved in. It was hilarious! It was cute! And really hot at some times too >///<.I liked how the author handled the real life gender discrimination and controlling-parents issue. Applause for her for that!

The story didn't really drag but there was little too much detail and those long extras were really redundant. Except in the end, where I just wanted it to finish, I thoroughly enjoyed myself reading it! ABO fans and BL fans both should give it a try! <<less

It's alright though not really my cup of tea. Quite hard for me to read more in the perspective of a tsundere MC. I was initially interested cuz I like the idea of a strong, dependable MC but it got to the point where I just see him as childish, and a bit shameless. Maybe I'll try the novel again some day..

I couldn't handle this at the moment, I'm craving a spicy and sour love story, so I'd put this on the shelf for now.

... more>> Too many ABO is about strong alpha weak omega controlled by hormones which is annoying seriously... or maybe just about so called strong omega but still weak when compared to an alpha... or they just end up being victims to their hormones

Here the MC defies the norms he is strong more strong than alpha... he would beat them up too... the ML is not the super strong alpha who oppress the MC but just equally strong... however the MC is in the sports field while the alpha is in the art field... a total stereotype breaking situation

This one is so hilarious that I couldn't help myself from searching for the next chapters in other websites.. I finished it on MTL novel.. The translation on MTL was understandable previously.. But got harder later.. The characters are adorable.. The Omega boy's strength and resolution is admirable.. Actually all the Omegas here are self-sufficient.. They don't just follow their instincts.. And the Alpha guys here aren't a**holes.. They don't abuse or r*pe all day long.. The betas aren't depressed.. I totally like this point of view..

The world swimming championship... more>> arc was intense.. Even though I knew that it's imaginary, the tension was totally real.. I'll give it 5 /5 upto that point..

It's a pity that there's no Olympic arc.. It should've been nice.. Wish there were some about the protagonist's teammates and underlings.. The ending is expected.. It's a refreshing Alpha - Omega story.. All over it's 4.8/ 5 stars.. <<less

Very sweet slice of life and a journey towards breaking boundaries and achieving their dreams.

There's no drama, MC is strong and optimistic about life. The story is well written and paced. You can subtly feel that they gradually mature and reach their peaks through their struggles.

MC and ML does not fall in love with each other immediately but through their interactions they can see a different part which attracted them to each other.

Reading to the extras, it's a really fulfilled life.

aaaahhh I really love this!!!!! MC and ML have the best relationship full of green flag, fluff and very little angst. So good!!! No miscommunication that drags on for ages since ML was very direct and MC is too honest hahaha. I also like how even though the MC differentiated as an omega late he doesn't get depressed about it and instead bounced back to prove everyone wrong about gender stereotypes. Omegaverse often have MC who differentiate as omega late to be portrayed as resentful or even internally hateful towards... more>> the "weaker" but I don't see it in this novel. Instead I see that although the MC does find it inconvenient he never thought being an omega was a bad thing but feels proud of his identity. I love this mindset so much. Life is never fair but your mindset determine how you live your life and how people's perception of you will be. I highly recommend this novel for anyone wanted to read a feel good omegaverse novel <<less

One of the stories that is really REALLY worth enjoying...

I honestly had a runny nose from crying. HONESTLY THIS IS NOT AN ANGSTY OR ANNOYING STORY... This story is really sweet and super touching, until in some moments and paragraphs, I really sobbed...

I really liked the dynamics of this story. It's like I'm watching the author evolve with her own writing... At the beginning I was a little worried that this story would be full of drama because of their pasts, our Alpha Xiao's crazy parents and our Omega's great... more>> sad past. But no, this story has tension but is resolved with a satisfying slap in the face... This really is my favorite sugar 😭🫶

The thing I love most about this story is how all the characters are alive, our adorable baby lizhi, our cute Youyou, the tiger and dragon members, even our Xiao A competitors complete the story...

Those of you who really want to have a good time should definitely read this story... Maybe our omega is very OP with its power, but believe me it makes the story more beautiful.

Thanks of course to the author for this great work... But I really want to hug the translator who worked so hard, every note left behind was like an extra sugar topping on a cake. Thank you 🫶 <<less

this is my first time writing a review and I am only doing it in the heat of the moment so I have to say this story is really amazing 😍 I totally felt the characters growth, the situations they went through were soo realistic and I am glad most of the typical ABO drama wasn't there

This novel made me laughed and mad me cried, and moved me to love them with all my heart. Their story doesn’t feel fabrication or force, it feels like two teenagers for all their maturity are just two teenagers falling in love and doing their best with what the world handed them. Their unique personalities blended together to make such lovely and sweet interactions. What really destroyed are the extras, I love them and their family of three. Yes, I cried over how lovely they are. Reading the last sentence... more>> and knowing it ends was both sad and satisfying. A nice closure.

I knew I was going to love this novel when a few chapters in I was already checking to see how many chapters I have left to read.

My heart is sad that it ends and happy that I found another novel to love this year. <<less

This danmei is great! I really liked the two main characters and the way the book explored their relationship was so nice. Li Cheng grew on me with every chapter and the romance between him and Xiao Yiheng was really sweet.

I loved reading this. It’s such a lighthearted but cute story to read.

I enjoyed how the story focused on their lives and wasn’t just a quick romance story. You really get to see their personalities and how they change throw the story.

I’ll be honest, there is a few simple things that it speeds through but if you just want to read a sweet light hearted love story I would definitely recommend this story.

I also love how the abo was written. The society perception of second gender and how the characters... more>> acted was really refreshing and well written. (Especially the bonus story 💜)

Also, it was such a sweet love story. I really enjoyed it. And love how it wasn’t an alpha and omega falling in love with ‘pheromones’ but just with eachother. <<less

On the surface, this might seem like a simple, coming-of-age ABO romance novel. But 'This Omega is Sweet and Wild' tackles many deep issues.

With impeccable comedic writing skills, the author serves this simple story of an Omega and an alpha who strive to fight gender stereotypes. While it might seem that only Li Cheng fights the gender role he's cast into, Xiao Yiheng also, in his own remarkable way, shatters the glass ceiling that has kept him confined for 18 years.

This book tackles teenagers' emotional and financial insecurities given their... more>> lack of financial independence and their curtailed freedom in choosing career paths for themselves. It focuses on how students, from a young age, are cast into boxes and labelled as 'brilliant', 'mediocre', 'average' and so on. Even though this is set in an ABO universe, the writer does well to draw analogies with present-day gender norms and parental tyranny. I liked the relationship between Li Cheng and Xiao Yiheng particularly because it was healthy, non-toxic and not co-dependent. They had their individual goals and battles and stayed dedicated to their cause.

Very well translated. I am docking a star because of racism. While it is abhorrent to be xenophobic, the writer uses terms such as 'white orangutan' for Australian players. It makes no sense to sit on a high horse and condemn racism while being racist yourself. <<less

DEFINITELY WORTH TO READ AND RE-READ every spices in sweet ABO u would like is here Tag should be including pregnant and child bearing I nearly miss it (cus I want to read that kind of novel)... warm ur heart and make ur day, author's writing style is good I can find mye hooked and feel close to mc-ML character, the translation ofc amazing too, in our MC carrier story author take some real life events and adapted it.. uh.. and.. this also got patriotic vibe on it.. but.. if... more>> u sensitive to racism I suggest u to not to read it or just skip the part (but that part essential :v).. they had a bit drama with that theme so.. yeah <<less

This BL novel will be one of my favourites of all times.

Although there were times I shook my head at the airheaded misunderstandings and the typical insatiable top parts, overal I found this story sweet, funny and with the minimal amount of tension that kept the story from becoming longwinded and repeating. I loved their interactions, and the kid in the extras was very cute.

I would recommend this story to anyone looking for a leasurely read as it is honestly funny, sweet and with characters that have (sorta) normal personalities... more>> that you would expect people to have. <<less

It's so sweet. I love this story so much.

No one is perfect, but you can look for the good in them. I love MC and ML I feel like they really exist. Although something in this story annoyed me, but I liked that part. It's a lovely story. And it's really heartwarming. ❤️

This is actually one of the best omegaverse stories out there and I'm definitely not exaggerating. I love the characters - - in fact, I can't fault them with anything. Loved how the story progressed and how it ended beautifully. Funny at times, over all lovely and sweet. Must read for all those who love ABO.
