I LOVE IT! This might be the 3rd Quick Transmigration I read after QWTFOD and DPUBFTB and I haven't been able to read another as good as those. But I must say, so far, I really like this novel's MC and ML's relationship much better than QWTFOD because I feel like they were able to explore it much better instead of just summarizing it in a few sentences. I say this because this has more similarities in writing with QWTFOD, tr*sh bin novel has a bit more of a mature... more>> tone to it. Anw, I like this BUT my problem is the translation. I know it was already better than the 1st but I had the longest misunderstanding with the 2nd story. I thought the twins was Ouyang Zhi and Ouyang Chun (ML) just to discover there wasn't a distinction with the name of the twins it really was just Ouyang Zhi and Ouyang Zhi what the heck. There's also repeating scenes that mixed in some chapters. I just want to get this out because this was a bit frustrating

EDIT:

nevermind, the relationship here is also shallow. It was only good in the first few lifetime then it came down to ML being able to find MC with his smell like a dog. Tho their little interactions are quite funny. The plot also got too boring, I don't feel satisfied even tho the protagonists do end up suffering for their wrongdoings. Gotta say, at this point it doesn't have a better quality than QWTFOD, there's no feeling of revenge since we don't get enough interaction with protags once the MC takes over so the face-slapping (if you can call it that) isn't very satisfying, most of the MCs techniques also only involves plot reading, deduction, and pulling out all kinds of pills that can solve everything. The translation also never improved, still mtled and there's that same name again for different people making it harder to read.

LAST:

Pacing is way too fast that most of the storylines are so forgettable. Till the end I feel no attachment to the characters even the supposed to be important ones because their interaction are summarize or happened in the time skips. Not better than any other QT out there. <<less

First arc was good, second arc started getting faster, and it just kept on getting faster and faster.....

Pacing started to get way too fast, the plots started to get nonsensical, and just not enough, even for Quick transmigration

I kinda want to skip to the end, since it seems pretty repetitive.

Ngl, it's a good QT novel with a proper plot and world building. The personalities of MC and ML are generic but hey, they love each other and get their jobs done. The system isn't very talkative but still has its moments and not some lame filters.

Pros:

- each arcs is ~10 chapters long. The information is adequate and goes straight to the point.

... more>> - I like face slapping and apparently every protagonists here are insidious, so 🤌 mwah 🤌.

- I'm really fond of the system. It's helpful, not too OP and good work ethics.

Cons:

- the later arcs are too complex for their own good.

- ML is quite "assertive" and too clingy.

- homophobic (?). <<less

I stopped at chapter 132 because I don't know where the rest of this novel is. Anyhoo, The translation started out a bit weird in the first few chapters, such as missing words and syntax issues. However it is translated very well later on. I started liking "system" novels after reading QWTFOTD (Quickly wear the face of the devil) so after that, there is no comparison as I didn't expect it to be too similar because I like reading different adventures; not the same dull scenes. However, I can't say... more>> I loved this. Although I didn't finish reading it due to unfinished translations, I will eventually finish; in order to find out the truth behind this whole story. However, I find a lot is lacking. I feel as if it is missing an overall depth to the characters and world, so it's a bit unsatisfying. I kept reading to find out what happens next... but kept being disappointed. This is overall, a mediocre story at best. <<less

If I remembered correctly it was one of my first bl novel, it served as gate for me to enter into the yaoi world of no return, so it indeed holds a special place in my heart.

But it's been really a very long time since I first read it, I guess about 3 years, anyway I don't remember much of the story.

But I really liked it and it made me fall in love with the bl novels so (◍•ᴗ•◍) full ratings for me.

I would indeed love to read... more>> it again in future,

This is a good read. Now if your the type of person that’s like, a qt must just nock my socks off in the first arch or I will completely hate it, then this is not for you. The first world is simple and relatively easy for our MC to pass.
the villain, ML and our MC are still pretty flat. The system comes across as trying to motivate the MC to do his job without actually being able to give him the real reason... So the explanation comes off as completely ridiculous.

this is all only at the beginning. As the worlds progress they become significantly more complex and the villains motives are clearly more sinisterly than the first arch revealed. The ML rarely solves problems for the MC, though he is quite good at not getting in the way. He has an innate trust in whatever the MC is doing. I found that endearing.

so if you like a book that starts out feeling like it was just for fun, and not deep or difficult but then slowly blooms into something far more complex and satisfying than this is for you.

A fairly standard quick transmigration, but that also makes it easy to get into. For the first four or five arcs, it was one of my favorite stories. If we went by that alone, it'd be a solid four stars.

Unfortunately, while the first few arcs are enjoyable, but the story isn't able to keep momentum. Neither our protagonist and his partner have enough personality to carry the story without the plot twists of the arcs themselves; so when it flat it doesn't keep you invested.

The arcs progress fast enough, but... more>> that's because the arcs start to fall prey to the mortal sin of 'tell rather than show'. It's no fun when the protagonist just has his system unveil the hidden depths of the stories from the safety of his lover's arms instead of protectively unraveling them himself.

All up, I think that reading a few arcs makes for a fun afternoon. But when you feel tired of it, don't both continuing. <<less

I just don’t have the patience for the daft characters. The ridiculous plot set ups can be funny, but the ridiculously s*upid people and plot devices? No, not funny, just a waste of time 😤 and the first arc was so, so creepy. Went from “this is the dependent minor I despise but have been (nominally) raising” to “I’m going to force myself on him because I love him and have neglected him through childhood” within about thirty seconds, and it doesn’t actually even have any relationship or character development... more>> at all <<less

but personally, I think this story has an interesting and creative storyline and plots. It's just that it felt a bit boring to me.

I personally really like arc 5. Kinda make me shocked.

After arc 5, there's several arcs that used similar plot with it that you can't be surprised anymore..

There's many good arcs, but the bad ones that I dislike also appeared here and there.

After all, this is very enjoyable to read..

I think this story is like a 4.5 maybe but closer to 4 than 5. Basically the MC has to qt to diff worlds to prevent the protagonist from making a harem that will somehow destroy the world. the plots are so nonsensical but they are consistently nonsensical and I’ll just take this like in art class when it doesn’t matter wat style u do or how child drawn it looks if it’s consistent it’s good lol (unless ur teacher tells u to draw a specific style) tbh I like... more>> the overall plot of this qt since it’s not rlly affection points like many others. I find the MC revealing the protagonists real ugly face to be interesting.

the MC is clever ig and he’s not rlly the naive weak white flower shou type. the ML is possessive and a vinegar jar like many others lmao, he’s the classic handsome strong stallion but without a harem tbh kinda ml.

I find the last arc updated to be interesting where we get to finally meet like the “real” ML u could say and tbh I rate this a bit up bc there’s elements I personally like in the story like jealousy ahshkshaja.... <<less

Absolute gem! The quality of the whole plot and characters is just fantastic - a good detailed work! The MC is also extremely likeable and can calmly analyse the situations he's in with a calm logical thinking which just makes the story ever more appealing. The ML as far as I'm concerned is also a quite well laid out character - personally I especially like his possessiveness ahaha ^U^

Worthy of 5 stars =^w^=/~***** Translator is doing a superb job, keep up the good work~!

MC has a super helpful spiritual energy thing to manipulate other's will, eavesdrop on people, stalk people etc... not to mention the 'drug-peddling' system...

ML is a bit yandere, and always falls in love at first sight, and is supremely helpful to the MC. MC is smart though, and doesn't just rely on the plot. In fact, he judges the plot-holes in the story given by system, and tries to solve the situation accordingly.

I likes all the hidden plot drama MC came up with after investigating the plot in reality. All those twists and turns just to find reasons and excuses to extricate the harem's members away from the World end's harbringer aka Protagonist lol.

For such an amazing story, the summary sure is terrible.

For those who loved "Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil", this is very much like that one, with only a slightly less villainous protagonist. It's not at all like those where the protagonist quickly goes through worlds, desperately trying to avoid his stalker to preserve his heterosexuality or any nonsense like that, which is what the summary implied.

It's not an original idea, but what isekai is anymore? It's a well-written story with at least one huge twist in every world.... more>> I like. <<less

In my opinion it is really nice, it is the first Chinese novel that I read and opened a new world for me.

As I did not resist I read the rest in the original Chinese version with a translator, near the end the translator went crazy and did not fully understand the ending, but I'm looking forward to the English version.

Extremely similar to the novel "Scattering IQ to the protagonist". So much so that I forgot they were two different stories. First arc is a bit ick since the ML is the MC's guardian, but after that is pretty good. MC mercilessly destroys the various Heroes so they can't form world-ending harems, but mercifully reforms them.

I like the harem-breaking idea. Especially, when harem members increase in every arcs. It show a s*upidity of harem plot. And this novel describe that not every harem members like that person. They may have ulterior motives. I don't like harem genre myself. If there are good emotional bond, I can tolerate 2 or 3 lovers. But more than that doesn't make sense too me. MC character is witty & funny. But characters in each arcs are quite repetitive (understandable. There're many arcs, each arcs has many harem members).... more>> World-building overall is good, some arcs are interesting, some are bland. The ending also nice enough. <<less
