extremely cute story with super hot smut... my cup of tea though m not much into alpha omega scenario but gave it a try and this story turned out super good...

Omg in first half there is a lot of misunderstandings and after that full of dog food and smutttt I saw some reviews that in extras there is a non con yup thats true but it is totally not ml's fault just MC dropped stone on his foot and thoroughly learnt a lesson overall nice read

I really loved this, not to mention the smut was exceptional. If you are very plot-orientated or fussy about characters then this isn't for you but whereas if you like fluff (and pa pa pa) then this novel definitely for you!

As someone who isn't very into ABO, 'The Short Story of Shaowang' was a wonderfully sweet and refreshing surprise to read. Both ML and MC subvert the traditional roles of Alpha and Omega in a way that doesn't make it uncomfortable to read. The ML is sugary sweet in their devotion to the MC and vice versa. Truly an engaging story about a hen-pecked doggily obedient Alpha and a potty mouthed, wilfully strong school tyrant Omega.

Worth the read. Was really romantic~

It may be unbearable and kinda angsty at first.

But trust me, bear with it, it will be all rainbow and sunshine after the angst and misunderstanding over.

A lot of reader dissatisfied with Shaoyan calling ML silly dog, but I understand him, I also often tell me bf 'you just like a dog', not in a s*ave or bad kinda way, but the 'silly and cute' kinda way. But still Shaoyan also at fault here because he didn't explain it and expect ML to understand, because my bf also kinda sad... more>> when he got call a dog at first lol

And a lot of reader dissatisfied with Shaoyan attitude, now now, this is what we call Tsundere, he also not made to be a soft character, he's a 100% tyrant. So don't really expect him to suddenly be a saint and soft character after falling in love. And I love how these character made like this.

What a cute story! I really like it! There's a lot of misunderstandings here just like your typical CN novel but it's just so satisfying after they made up.

The main characters' attitude are basically like the opposite of each other but they are well suited for each other. MC is a short-tempered, rough omega, he's actually the tyrant of the school lol. On the other hand ML is like a puppy (ehem wolf), just look at the novel's picture, yup that's him. The other characters are also well described in... more>> the story.

The novel is also well translated, so you won't have a headache while reading.

So true indeed. This is definitely not the usual strong alpha x weak omega pairing, but that is why it is so fanstasingly well done!

It's a refreshing read. I actually finish reading it one day though there's a lot of misunderstanding, still, I was able to feel good after they were able to fix it. So, heads up for the future reader.

This novel is so good and so sweet for an ABO genre. At least, it doesn't go through the typical trope. I love the idea of how both couples have the opposite personality.

I love how the Alpha is so soft and timid towards our Omega whilst our Omega is definitely a fighter, even going against three alpha's though he was injured for it that was enough to show he isn't a soft kind of Omega.

I absolutely love this novel. It is refreshing and the author provided a very amazing background plot for the novel. There is no dog-blood drama. Both gong and shou have unique personalities. I would give it a five stars for not the scene where gong forced himself on the shou although he had his reasons. But it was difficult for me see such a loving couple engage in such a act.

It was a good read. But my god the misunderstandings over and over, yet somehow the sweet fluff managed to sooth it out.

There's only a few reasons one would be reading an ABO novel and this one definitely encompasses all the reasons. ML and MC's dynamic in this novel is quite different than most ABO novels and the way they fall in love is quite sweet, although the beginning is fraught with misunderstandings and some readers might feel annoyed. MC is feisty while ML is timid.

The story is well written with its characters and you know its well written by the author constantly showing readers their flaws and insecurities.

Us, as readers, know both sides of the story because we're an outsider, but the two actors in the play do not, thus, it's really easy as a reader to get frustrated at the MC, if you know what I mean.

But as another reviewer has said, Shaoyan knows his flaws and Wang Zhe still loves him. *Wipes tear*

It's a great because the characters actually try to communicate unlike some misunderstanding BL novels and It's realistic in its depiction of characters. No one is perfect and can change easily but it's admirable when you try your best to.

It's a great read, even if you're only here for the smut fufufu.
