I actually thought this one had potential based on the summary and reviews, but the moment I started reading, I instantly woke up.

Let me tell you—I usually prefer reading in English, but I know Korean, and I can say with certainty: this is not a bad translation, it's just bad writing. I swear, it's so, so, so bad. There's no emotion, no character development, and at a certain point, things just get completely confusing. Even though there are a few funny moments, I only endured it because I really wanted... more>> to read something, but I'm stopping here. This story should have ended a long time ago, and this isn't even the middle yet. Omg, how can someone write something this long without basic writing skills?

One of the things that especially pissed me off was the female lead's decision. She preferred staying as the head of the family that despised her and tried to ruin her life—in a marriage with a cheater—rather than leaving to become the Empress. I can understand if she wanted to be independent, but that was not the only way.

I love this book. The humor, story, romance and conflict is good, I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece but still a nice casual read. The characters and plot twist is interesting. Slow romance but definitely worth it. Ciella is a strong and flirty (FL) while Reynos (ML) being such a golden retriver, him having so much unconditional love towards Ciella is just amazing.

My fav character is Duke Rublet Justice, he deserves better and the fact that he calls Ciella 'Cereal' just cracks me up all the time. Also the side stories;

Oh this is fun.

MC is just the right amount of evil, and ML is just the right amount of freaking ADORABLE! He is so cute I had to take a break because my smile was cramping. ML's a sexy walking pheromone that makes you shiver with his actions. I'm already simping. Hardcore simping. Also, when MC is forward ML's easily flustered which makes him the cutest!!!

Before Story Summary. MC woke up in a novel she read, as the fiance of one of the villain-extras (not even the main villain). The... more>> villain-extra has countless affairs and eventually, his behavior toward the novel's heroine causes him and his fiance the death penalty. Immediately MC plans to gather evidence of the villain-extra's affairs to break the engagement to crush the death flag, she also befriends the heroine to get in her good graces to live smoothly. Before MC gathers enough evidence of his affairs, that nauseating villain-extra decides to couple with the heroine and offers to break the engagement mutually. The heroine, who was MC's best friend, decides to steal MC's fiance... haha tr*sh goes well with tr*sh.

Now the story starts. MC proposes a revenge-affair deal to the prospective partner of the heroine (ML), and their story is hilarious. MC and ML meet upfront in person and in a guild behind masks, really funny how ML tries to command MC (with an infatuation power) to remove her mask. ML's ability doesn't fully work on MC, so I am evilly expecting ML to meet up with masked MC again to ask for relationship advice. <<less

So far so good! This story is so interesting, I love both ML and fl, especially the shy ml. I guess they already met before but the FL doesn't remember nor realize it, while the ML fall for her. I hope the translator can continue this till the end. Thank you so much translator-nim for picking this

This was a good read. The female lead had her own set of principles and enough portion of "evil". I also found her actions a little hilarious sometimes, like how she never noticed that the man who consulted her about how to chase her crush was the male lead all along, and she unintentionally told him her preferences. The guild she made was also quite unique itself, as the field they usually meddled in was about relationship problems, like cheating, divorce, etc, not just your typical merchant or information guild.

I... more>> also found it funny how she always named her products with "Dragon" as to emphasized her preferences for a certain cute dragon. The male lead was also very adorable. He was not your typical overbearing male lead. And the female lead's power was interesting as well. The second male lead was a little annoying at first. But gradually, we could discover certain charms of him. He also let go of the female lead in the end while being thankful to her for being the cause of his growth. <<less

The FL is CHAOTIC. She is a good person and walk around throwing the tr*sh in the tr*sh can. The catch is that, although she has everything to become a villainess, she is not an evil person. Her enemies fall because they are dumb greedy people, so even when she plot something, they walk into the trap because she knows they will try to do something bad. She is just as smart as she is afraid of building relationships. But this doesn't stop her. She cares deeply for people around... more>> her and it takes a while, but she slowly sort her own feelings by herself.

ML is also an AMAZING person. He isn't just a green flag, he is the whole Amazon forest, the Cerrado, Pantan*l and the Atlantic Rainforest He is sweet, caring, and is actually invested on doing the emotional labor involved on a relationship. The scenes of him diligently reading books on relationships, romance and erot*c books made for female audience just to understand what women like are SO CUTE! Our FL won the lottery bc he is a complete catch and SHE KNOWS!

I hate the OGFL. The author does a good job building her arc and showing what kind of person she is. But just as I hate her, I love Rublet. He is chaotic and acts like a lost child just mimicking the Raynos every time there is a social cue that he doesn't understand. He just doesn't understand societal norms and NTs behaviour, so he is constantly looking around for a cue of how to act. It's funny and cute at the same time.

May and Leather are also some of the best secondary characters I have seen in a while. They have their own backstory and personality.

It's a good read. The plot is good and well paced. The characters are relatable and, although there is not too much depth, their own arcs are enough so they don't come out as unidimensional. The author has a clean writing style and the translations is also good. I have being reading using the speaker of the Edge and so far there weren't much problems with the screen reading system.

100% recomend! It will make you smile! <<less

This just hilarious!

The FL is chaotic good and the ML fluffy enough with her to be the best combinaison ever! Most of the chapter are sooo funny! And the FL buff soar naturally after an handful of chapters. Not making it akward.

I love it and the plot is light but interessing.

Have you ever read something that was good but so unremarkable that you forget you read it? That basically sums up this story.

The MC is Ciella, a woman who transmigrated into a novel as one of the villans. Or rather as an unintentional villain as she was supposed to be kind and light-hearted while ending up executed from her marriage with the Little Count Essit. The MC, however, is a bit crafty and quite intelligent.

The ML is Crown Prince Reynos who is rather secretive but more of a cinnamon roll... more>> than a dangerous man. He simps for Ciella relatively quickly while leading to some of the more comical moments in the story.

It turns out that he is the reincarnated dragon and has only loved one person for all his existence which Ciella happens to be (she is also reincarnated).

While there are complications for the two to deal with, the story doesn't really feel like the MC is ever truly in danger. The villains are ineffective or so quickly dealt with that the events with them feel pointless.

Like Count Essit being set up as a major antagonist but falls for several tricks (such as Rubina being demon poop and not gems) like a grade school child.

Even the second Prince was dealt with quickly despite his mother engaging on a campaign of framing the Crown Prince as a terrible monster (which also only took like two events to wash his reputation clean).

The final antagonist is... well... almost non-existent. He has a few chapters where he shows up to twirl his evil mustache but then faces an anticlimactic end.

This final big bad turns out to be a spoiled prince who was told everything was for him. Then his sister gained the dragon's affection so she became the crown Princess instead. He then orchestrated holding her hostage to force the dragon to attack other kingdoms while destroying her reputation with the rest of their kingdom. Eventually, he killed his sister.

Which goes as well as you'd expext. The dragon went crazy, destroyed the Kingdom and killed everyone. The antagonist only escaped because he trapped himself in a mirror realm which he then spent the next however-long manipulating whomever he could with the goal of taking over the powers of the dragon. This includes the royal family as he convinced the first Emperor to eat the heart of the dragon (with the intent to take over or kill the inheritor of the dragons power so he could rule the world). He was also responsible for the three families with powers as they would help him defeat the Dragon.

All that backstory and he is legit defeated because he gave the Second Prince the same ability as Ciella and wanted to have him take over her Labyrinth but she was too strong and had the support of the Crown Prince.

So he possess the Second Prince's body and jumps into lava in her labyrinth to deal mental damage. Aaaaaand then he just turns into a very minor demon in her labyrinth.

The lead up to him made him feel like was supposed to be a far more dangerous adversary but it just fell flat.

Most of the twists were also fairly predictable and it felt like it was a copy and paste of other novel ideas (especially in the side stories).

Overall, it was a fun read but nothing awe-inspring. The writing was also fairly bad at points such as difficulty with understanding who was talking but that might be a translation issue due to formal and informal speech patterns. It's a good way to spend some time but not really memorable. <<less

I genuinely can't get into this story. Instead of a clear linear plot, there's alot of abrupt zigzagging from one place to another. The way that the story jumps from one scene to another makes it feel like it's trying to speed run face-slapping drama like a quick transmigration story only faster. And then it slams the brakes hard when they need to add in more details of the novel that's the MC is transmigrated into.

I do like MC! She's has the right amount of backbone and evil in her... more>> take take what she wants. But I feel like her level of intelligence shouldn't make her so oblivious to the ML's feelings for her. And when she does get there, the way she's leading him on is a little out of character with her 'Do it or don't do it' attitude. I know she's jaded about relationships but the way the story progresses in the romance department, it's a bit cringe.

And I know the ML is supposed to be one of those puppy MLs, and that's his shtick, but he's also one of the reasons why the plot is so messy. There is so much going on with this man that I don't know what to do with him. I feel like the author should set aside a scene or chapter to give us a POV from the ML's side to give the reader's something to straighten out the plot. Especially with his role, back story, and current thoughts on the MC.

I understand that the author what's to save the big mystery for the grand reveal but I'm getting whiplash with the plot bouncing from one scene to another.

MC has way too many things going on on her side while the ML has very little. Outside of their initial obligation to each other and implied mysterious past, I don't know how these people are still talking to each other. I feel like if ML was more involved with MCs life and lift some of the burden off of her as a real partner than a mascot, their relationship would feel more balanced.

The excuse of the ML have baggage of royal proportions is not an excuse. This man is literally spending days with the MC without consequence. From ANY of his identities.

But the concept this story is going for is really good. Despite me saying the plot is messy, I do think it's a good one. Not great, but good enough. So much potential. And I can see the author's writing style improve gradually as the plot slowly comes together. But I just can't get into it anymore. <<less

So far it's pretty decent.

FL is trying to change her fate and trying not to die. However, in the process it seems that the plot has also shifted. Even this early on, you can somewhat guess the plot already... It's not bad, but let's wait until we can see the full execution.

TLDR; FL’s energy is boss b*tch, female entrepreneur of the century, I don’t need a man, I’m gonna get revenge and I’m gonna have fun laughing at these hoes while doing it, so go ahead and start reading! Actual good story alert fr fr

This is my first time writing a review on this site! Firstly, this is not your typical romance (I normally hate when people say this but I understand now lmao) where everything that happens revolves around the romance. The relationship between the MCs is not always... more>> at the forefront of the plot.

When it comes to the FL, think: boss b*tch, female entrepreneur of the century, I don’t need a man, I’m gonna get revenge and I’m gonna have fun laughing at these hoes while doing it — definitely one of my top 3 favorite FLs of all time. In terms of the ML, he is sweetheart shy boy that you will want to protect until your dying breath.

Honestly, idk what else to say. I mostly just want people to know that this isn’t just a romance story. Don’t get me wrong, the romance is peak, but just know that it is a bit of a slow burn. However, you shouldn’t get bored along the way due to our FL’s shenanigans of being a boss and she KNOWS it. As well as slowly discovering what exactly is going on in this universe, and why all these unexpected things are happening... Just know that the wait is definitely worth it.

Anyway, if you’re having any hesitation as to whether or not you should read this story, I hope you decide to read it now. It is quite long so you can binge for days and still have more to come back to! <<less

I continued reading the story bc yes the ML is cute and adorable :)

So far there are a lot of men as love interest for the FL so it has a bit of harem vibes (?) I like that the FL is clever and things. The story is a bit cliche as you can guess from the description; not to the point of being a masterpiece, however I can still say I enjoy reading this so far.

Edit after completed: Changing this from 4 to 5 stars :) Just... more>> finished reading this. It was a slow romance novel, but turns out it was a beautiful love story between them /cries. The love story, the political plot. I love them all. Ah I love how the ML has unconditional love for the FL. Im crying. Oh and I think the more you read till the end of the chapters, it will become more unpredictable and not as cliche as I imagined in the earlier chapter. It was an usual plot and got me curious to read till the end. Recommended! Anyway thank you for the author and the translation team for this novel~ <<less

This is really cute novel. The MC is badass in her way and our cute ML that has two persona. In the early plot it really shows how the MC put tr*shy mens in the tr*ash can. And ciel's guild is unusal and the name is cute. Also the ML going to the ciel's guild asking for advice for his lf is really cute. And does the ML has some sort of two appearance or its just the curse of the dragon?? I dont really get how the ML fall... more>> with the MC when they dont even have a formal meeting from the start. I started reading for something light to pass the time, but before I knew it the characters s**ked me in and I felt genuinely invested in the plot. Which was absolutely delightful, by the way.

The tension is managed well, entertaining without being stressful to read, serious and funny moments are also balanced well (more on the lighthearted side, though.) The villains are villainous, their motivations generally make some sense without being too deep. Everything seems well suited to the genre and overall mood of the story, the resolution of the... more>> different story arcs are all satisfying.

Usually the male leads get obsessive and annoying, more so as the story goes on. Not so here, the character development is thoughtful and entertaining! Everyone gets their ten minutes of fame, in one way or another.

I was actually surprised by some of the plot twists too. There were some genuinely clever developments and I felt there were enough clues dropped beforehand to make sense.

Five stars, I have no regrets and will probably reread this quite a few times in the future. <<less

Sigh.... the whole plot the summary is based on get finished quite early on so points deducted from that. The following new plot points weren't bad but they really did drag on and even the side stories are cliche filled and they were not implemented tastefully so I had to drop it.

Ohhhkay now I understand what the hedgehog looked like from the cover because honestly I couldn't see anything but Sonic

good shoujo novel overall, some weak points, honestly important characters like Duke Justice needed more depth and even Leather wasn't explored in the main story enough to tell why he was so loyal. Even a small explanation would've been enough. Always happy to see a good emperor because most have them be horrible. pausing around the side stories but finished the main one.

This is a fun, light read without too many stressful moments because boss girl was always a step ahead of her enemies. ML is an absolute cinnamon roll. I wasn't a fan of the backstory and I felt the final villain was dealt with so easily that it seems a bit absurd that the others struggled a lot to defeat them before.
