If you want no drama or angst and just want a light read slice of life then go for it. But it was so boring because there's no obstacles or struggles to make the story enticing. Then the fluff wasn't enough to keep the story interesting. But as the author had mentioned the story is just all about the MC having a good life. So there's no heavy drama going on.

The saving grace fot this, you have a a matured couple. Both communicating with one another though at first there... more>> was some bit of misunderstanding due to miscommunication. But moving forward to the story you'll get what a relationship of a matured couple should be except the "mistake" the ML had done, which was really a blunder on his part being a capable adult. All in all I like this couple's relationship with one another. Not too childish could've been better if there's more detailed fluff.

The extra chapter where author explained the FL's origin was anticlimatic, just added to tied up loose ends, and just that.

Completed the story just for the sake of completing it. This is one of those novel that you kept enduring to complete so that you can throw it at the back of your mind, never to remember again. <<less

I remember I liked this one when I first read it way back then. Then I realized just this year when I'm scrolling at this website again that I haven't rated this and decided to re-read as I forgot about most of the plot. I realized this is the kind of C-novel you aren't supposed to re-read. It made me think how did I even liked this in the first place (or maybe because I already have a standard of great novel writing and plot that re-reading this made me... more>> hate it because most of the characters that I adore back then are now annoying and frustrating when I re-read it.

1. I hate that the OG FL mother was initially described as a loving mother but constantly bu*t heads with OG FL due to the fact most Chinese mothers are obsessed with matchmaking. Thus when the OG FL died and FL now lived as her, the mother was supposed to be very accommodating now to whatever the FL wants and never pushes her to cage her freedom but we all know that's a fking lie as the moment the story started, the mother is already matching her to potential candidates and it didn't even stopped after the ML was introduced.

2. I hate that the FL said she doesn't wanna date for now (when the misunderstanding arc was going on) but once ML cleared it, she almost offered herself again. Kidding. She said she wanted to start at getting to know stage and not dating or be his girlfriend. But clearly her actions is differ on what she said. And I hate those kind of FL because I will immediately label them as a who*e who cannot live without a dick. Where tf is the part where I wanna focus on studies first because I now have a 2nd chance in life.

Not the saw you at first sight. They got to know each othrr and gradually become closer. Kimda slow paced anyways ML kinda cold on the start cause his past experiences in blind dating but our FL turned his views on that. Time to make a move Ml!! And he did, then the become officallly a couple the end hahah soke lil troubles here and there but all's good, no irritating misunderstandings

At first I was wondering why would this story had not more than 4, 5 rates, and most of the comments only give 4 stars instead of 5 while personally I thought that this was a great story and writing. However through the middle I kinda get it. This is a peaceful, and slow burn typical plot. There is not many conflict nor any deep topic inserted inside. Most of the plot only moving based on the MC daily life and her slow moving pace romance with the ML. There... more>> is no conflict so far, perhaps it'll get more interesting when the real FL appear but so far It's really just a reading for spend some time type of novel. All characters also a reasonable one, there is not a single annoying one.

Re-review

Overall I still stand on my opinion at the beginning that this is a laid back story to kill time. You won't feel the need to want reading it that much because "the lack of tension" on the plot.

the only conflict MC face might only regardless on FL. Her character are kinda became psychotic but there will be no dog fight type of scene to support the scene, it will be resolved fairly fast even if the build take so long with the jumping pace. Her head has been wrong since the first life so it didn't get automatically being fixed when she is reborn. The MC also further hinted on her naration that the original novel story didn't really said that the ML and FL are being happy even after they got together after the reborn. So perhaps ML actually only like MC throughout that three life.

at first I was kinda sad about the original MC body's owner, but then it got wear off when I read through it. It kinda being hinted that she is perhaps not the original owner of su Rui body. As there is a time when su Rui also change her personality when she was child, so this was also explain why the su parents didn't make a big deal of su Rui change of personality. There is also a chance that MC might just returned back to her original body, as the one who's souls got exchanged with her is the owner of her sickly pervious body. So when the sickly body die, the original body owner soul also die and su Rui able to got back to her own body. Though that wasn't explain the reborn stuff on the FL side.

It was an awesome but laid-back read, especially if you don't want any angst. Both main characters are very pragmatic and mature.

This story wasn't very novel-esque in the sense of dog-blooded drama and face slapping. It's more slice-of-life and actually more in the sense of what a normal and stable relationship should start with and such forth.

Yes there is transmigration involved, but it's not the main focus. Su Rui (Main Female Character) is just living her life normally, and by normally, her mother sent her on a blind date and... more>> she had a very good first impression on Gu Yu Cheng (Main Male Character). It wasn't love at first sight, just a casual good impression.

There is just one misunderstanding, but it is comical and isn't a very angsty one.

So far I give it a 4/5. My reason, it's good enough for those high points, but nothing is ever too perfect to be 100%.

It was a good read. I'm always for stories with good and loving family support behind the leads. It gets really tiring to read stories where families are back stabbing each other.

I thank the translator (s) for their work, BUT just one thing I didn't like -- the T/Ns and comments were too much. It felt like the actual translated text for each chapter/upload were like 2-3 paragraphs long and the T/N and comments were 4-6 paragraphs long. Not sure if it's possible to put their T/Ns and comments in... more>> the Comments section and pin it there or what, just a friendly suggestion. <<less

I enjoyed it right up until just before the engagement party... The story had done this weird time skip and then kept changing to past tense and even in-the-moment it went back to present tense and was disjointed. At ch 61 I lost all interest. The story felt more like the author wanted to have a specific scene and then in the VERY NEXT SCENE it denied the cycle bit that had been mentioned before...
Anyways... I did find the dialogue between characters, females and males were well done and felt natural. The common sense MC was SO much appreciated. The conversation between socialites based on business relationships and the thought and intelligence that goes into being a functioning cog in that type of environment was very well portrayed. Also, the hijinks of the two mom’s, as a mom, their actions had me rolling!

No major conflicts, just a lot of fluff and sweetness from ML and MC. Definitely a good read if you want to take a rest from reading dog-blood/high-blood pressure inducing stories.

Speechless.

Their relationship is so functional, so practical and open. The COMMUNICATION IS BEAUTIFUL. I've read other novels where the author tries to portray mature character but just fails miserably with all the drama and misunderstanding to further the plot, but this story is actual adults falling in love. As in, responsible, reliable and truly mature adults falling in love.

The way both deal with the "drama" around them is so satisfying, there is no unnecessary twists and turns, there is no major intervention from outsiders. Just pure fluffy, sexy, funny, cute... more>> interactions of two people loving each other. <<less

I actually liked how their relationship went from awkward to being familiar with each other, I thought their pace will be uncomfortable to read but it didn't feel like that. So it was pretty good to read.

PS: I feel so bad for the novel ml, the last 2 extra chapters were really sad but I'm happy it turned out different because of our fl

Everything is Fluff, Fun, Charming and Loving, nothing goes wrong. I'm not joking

There's only small bit Misunderstanding that cleared fast because the characters is Great People! MC and ML is Reasonable and Very Good!!!

Has Emotional moments, but mostly in Good sense and very little in tension.

... more>> Our MC is Realistic, very Pragmatic, but of course because she's just ordinary woman, she's not Perfect with her feelings and emotion and expression. We Love her!!!

Our ML is just Soooo Good! Of course not perfect, but so Far everything is Sooo Good and we Readers Loving him!!!

And the Extras was a nice surprise. But I wish the Extras could be perfect. But still pretty good!

Anyway, This Novel truly Worth Recommendation to people who just want to Enjoy Fluff and Light Story without any Dog Blood!

This is the first time I've read a CN that doesn't have a lot of dog blood. Although there are some charas that you might find hateful (not to the point of killing), etc. The MC is realistic; this is the first time I've encountered one who uses reason rather than emotion. (I've read a dozen novels in which MC has a high IQ and EQ, but it sometimes it disappears in the middle of the plot as if it never existed in the first place.) I'm not suggesting MC... more>> is perfect; there are instances when her actions contradict her character (she is, after all, human). Anyway, if you prefer a calm and steady CN (with a dash of fluff and dog food), I recommend it, but if you want more dog drama, this is not for you.
Like other readers have stated, it may be boring for you, but because this is the first time I've encountered a plot like this, I'm enjoying reading it. <<less

Very good quick modern romance. I really like the romantic tension depicted between the two, but I was a little disappointed in to find their relationship had escalated waaaay too quickly. I wanted more fluff darn it!

A pretty low key romance but a surprisingly twisty reincarnations/rebirth/alternate reality novel. I was surprised by how quickly the MC was approached by the ML but - readers can find out the reasons why in every twist of the plot. I wasn't really here for the snuggles anyway but there are plenty if you go looking.

Fun, well plotted and interesting.

I like how the leads fall gradually for each other and the side family characters are lovely. Lots of cute moments as well.
the cross transmigration plot line is a bit confusing but that’s ok as not a big part of the story anyway.

The story overall was good it was full of fluff and no too much drama involve. Both ML and MC have mutual understanding and mature, know what they want for their life.

I totally reccommend this if you want to take a break from all the stressful novels!

It's a very sweet fluffy novel, MC and ML get a long and have no problems which can get stale but the boring moments don't last long. The relationship also progressed incredibly fast that's great for a story as you don't want to focus on boring moments but when deeply thinking about it I think there should have been more large time skips for the couple to get more familiar with one another.

Over all its a fast sweet read but that's about all it is, with a few memorable moments... more>> and some drama from a forgettable antagonist that shows up a few times. <<less

An enjoyable read all and all. If you are into fluff, and tired and looking for dog drama plot and seeking for a chill plot, rational smart MC with a doting male lead with a side of childcare and love seeing domestic couples then this is perfect for you.
