I have read this. I almost reading it twice coz I forgot that I have read. I write this review, to make notes that I already read.

But, the fact that it can hook me twice, prove that this novel is really good.

A decent read with good MC and ML. But there is no tension or drama in the novel till now and hence it is very boring. Don’t mind sweet fluffy novels but it would be great if there are some obstacles

I sincerely enjoy reading this sweet love story of a very sweet couple, Gu Yu Cheng and Su Xiao Rui.

Luckily, Su Xiao Rui's rebirth to her original body where she meets and falls in love with Gu Yu Cheng; and at the same time, Gu Yu Cheng falls madly in love with her. I just love reading their dedication and love towards each other.

Gu Yu Cheng and Su Xiao Rui are lucky to have parents who love and care deeply about their own kid and their kid-in-law.

This novel is sweet... more>> and light with no crazy dramas nor schemes. I plan to read it again in the future.

5 stars until chapter 81; 3 stars for chapter 82 onwards

I enjoyed the whole reading experience for this because of the smooth translations, no misunderstandings, MC's personality, and the comments left by readers for each chapter. It's always interesting to read comments.

I will have to leave here silicondruid213's comment in one chapter:

... more>> Da** I like Su Rui she's smart and level headed and won't be forced or pushed into things she's not ready for. Makes for a great role model for folks.

I especially like how resolute the MC was at the beginning when she found out that ML doesn't have marriage in mind (it's a misunderstanding). She went ahead and spoke about all her thoughts and left with her head held high. She totally gave the vibe that you're not the only one who has options, I have them as well. I JUST LOVE HOW PRAGMATIC AND CALM OUR MC IS.

The story is full of fluff and personally, I already consider chapter 81 as the epilogue. The following chapters after this were boring for me. <<less

Flow of the story was pretty much smooth aka very chill. Bits of fluff and sweet dog food.

If youre looking for face slapping, dog blood drama- there aint none here. There is just a tint bit apperance of a psycho.

MC was contradicting her own words.

she thinks in this chapter that “young men in his 20’s are not mature enough” - with a thought in mind about the other guy her mom introduced to her.

and then she be like suddenly “maturity has nothing to do with age”, girl what do you really want to tell us then?

... more>> also, I dislike how she thinks she’s “mentally old enough” and should not be dating men younger than her.

what’s wrong with dating young men when you’re both of legal age? But u think nothing is wrong when you’re occupying someone else’s body and treating someone else’s mom as your own? Gaaaaah.

i also do not like the male lead here in this 17-ish chapters. His attitude seems scummy. Idk. Overall, i’m gonna drop it right here, right now.

translator nim is the best! But the story, wasnt. <<less

This is really more of a 3.5. This is the fluffiest of fluff. Rational people who don't act s*upidly. I don't think there's a bit of dog blood in here--lots of dog food though. Wow.

I honestly think this is the calmest slice of life romance CN I've read. Don't go into this expecting a hugely riveting plot: this story focuses on the main couple's relationship, and both parties are really mature about the whole thing. Read this if you want a heartwarming, healing story that won't upset you at all.

There's no villainess and no marriage of convenience.

No comedic undertone, no dog blood, no meaty meaty, no coercion or forced relationship. Pretty chill story.

It's a fun reading to pass the time.

... more>> It' a romance through and through with some sweet interactions, and a down to earth protagonist with realistic expectations about romance marriage and relationship.

The story itself is not realistic though, if there was a man like Gu Yu Cheng out there even I would want to marry (sigh).

The story is not perfect or awesome, I just give 5 stars because I enjoyed overall and I don't regret reading it. <<less

I really liked this story. Then again, I've always liked stories that had a more pragmatic approach when it came to situations and relationships of any kind. I've read a lot of novels, a lot of romance, and this one is by far one of my favorites. Now, I'm not saying that this story is perfect.

(For the character review, I'll just put them in the spoilers tag as to not clutter my review)

If I were to be honest, Su Rui, our FL (Female Lead), didn't really have a... more>> personality that I would rave about.

In fact, there were a few times where I felt a little fed up with some of her decisions or tunneled thinking. Also, there weren't much character development for her except for when she first transmigrated. However, I really do respect the Author's approach in the FL's rationality. I also really liked that the relationships that Su Rui had didn't feel super shallow. I could tell that the FL may joke about her relationships with the ML (Male Lead) or their friends, but she did take them to heart.

And although she did start to show her real self to our ML, I don't consider that to be character development. Rather, I would say that she relaxed. We, as readers, already knew she had a playful side. The playful part of her already existed, she just held that part of herself back. And for me, character development means that the character has gained something new, whether it be in personality or in mindset.

The star of this story, for me, would definitely be our Male Lead, Gu Yu Cheng.

This is me speaking from a critical reader's point-of-view. When it comes to character development, or to just being a multi-dimensional character in general, Gu Yu Cheng really shines. We do have sort of a preconceived opinion of him since we're following the FL's perspective, but her evaluation of him was true. Throughout the story, he slowly breaks free from that shell. He's still that same kind of person from before, but that makes it all the more easier to see how he had changed when it came to certain matters (like his relationship with Su Rui).

From a subjective reader's point-of-view, I think he's a really good man. He's "patient" in love and knows how to properly reflect on his mistakes. He also doesn't have a messy relationship history, is successful in life, has a pretty decent EQ, and is an expert in his own field. What more could I, as a reader, ask for in an ML, really?

What I found the most interesting about this story is that they didn't once outrightly say "I love you" in the narrative. Although I firmly believe that verbally expressing such a thing is important in any relationship, it was still fairly obvious how much love they had for each other even if they didn't say it. It was clearly shown through their emotions and their interactions, and I liked that a lot. <<less

If you are looking for a novel with a realistic, smart, sensible and loveable FL then you will definitely enjoy this story.

Moreover, the ML was very dedicated to his lover.

Their interactions were so sweet and the story's ending was fulfilling.

This is good read. The novel got no unnecessary dog blood dramas. It was just peaceful to read with full of fluff and sweetness.

The FL (Su Rui) initially got no knowledge that she transmigrated novel. She's not a Mary Sue character... but she's sensible, calm-minded, realistic and reasonable that suited the stone-faced ML (Gu Yu Cheng) who was initially awkward in romance. The interaction and progress of leads' relationship was realistic compared to other "domineering CEO" novels LMAO

Glad that the author didn't focus on rebirthed OG heroine who was delusional... and didn't affect the leads' relationship except for the pushing incident.

The last 2 extra chapters were added bonus tho. I love the ML's reaction when he shortly travelled in another parallel world... and how Gu An An (their kid) travelled to another world and met 40yo Gu Yu Cheng in the 1st life.

Not too far into it yet but from the other reviews I it appears this novel will continue like this so I'll just add my two cents.

This story is a breath of fresh air. She transmigrated into a novel but she doesn't know it so there are none of those avoid the ML at all cost cliches. She just acts like herself and naturals grow her relationship with the ML. They are both adorable even though the ML gave a rather poor first impression imo.

Realistically written romance, really. FL is considerate, polite, hardworking girl that I cant help but love her. ML is typical smart and successful guy that prefer to focus on his career rather than searching for a partner in life cause he feel that woman is a bother at first. But, meeting FL, facing her who is considerate, not like any other young girl in her age, and also serious in her study about economy, he wants to start a relationship with her, learning about love together. There's quite an age... more>> gap but in truth, think about FL previous age, not really hehe.

My key point is I love the relationship between ML and FL that makes me want to strive harder too. HE with a side story that makes this novel feels even whole ❤️ <<less

Well, I binged read this novel and I like it I rate it 4.5 still.

some may think that this novel has slow romance but I disagree. You may feel like it coz the translation divided each chapter into 2 or 3 parts, but when you read it raw you’ll realize the normal flow of the Story.

i like how subtle and relaxing the story is. There’s no exaggerated face slapping Event for the villain. Nevertheless this novel is good to pass time also I might reread this when I ran out... more>> of novels to read. <<less

This was such a cute story. I liked both the FL and the ML. Their relationship was very realistic and I liked that they both communicated with each other and there weren't any misunderstandings.

I know it’s early for me to rate the novel since I’m only at chapter 1 but this story really meets my interest.

I would say that this novel is worth giving a shot for people who likes pragmatic, realistic, and reasonable characters.
