Fluffy, sweet BL story between an alpha dragon Emperor and an omega bunny interstellar ML in an ancient china before ABO was understood. Without an omega, the Emperor is homicidal/super irritable/completely tsundere. As an omega, the ML is able to soothe the Emperor and quickly become his favourite.

First part of the story is the timid ML being afraid of the tyrannical Emperor.

The third and fourth parts I found way too sweet so I just briefly skimmed through them. I read the entire novel by MTL. For the sheer sweet fluffiness (because sometimes that's all you're looking for in a book) and fairly detailed ancient times, (and especially since I've read a lot of bad novels in comparison), I'm giving it 5 stars. As for the rabbit accuracy, I have no knowledge of real rabbits, and I assume the ML's rabbit peculiarities are exclusive to interstellar omega shapeshifting rabbits, so it didn't bother me whether the rabbit descriptions were accurate.

Lost interest halfway through. The story's very straightforward and kinda bland in my opinion. I waited for this novel to have more chapters too (that's why it's a bit disappointing)

Already at chapter 48 but I still can't feel the romance. Most of the time MC is afraid of ML unless he's woozy in the brain (intoxicated/in heat)

I might give it another try in the future...

As a rabbit owner, this novel has wayyyy too many in inaccuracies, it irks me too much so I'm dropping it.

I think the author should have just used a cat instead of rabbit shifter, it just makes more sense from the traits listed in the story.

1. 1. Rabbits shouldn't lay on their back. It's a very uncomfortable position for them.
   2. This is no such thing as rabbit mint/catnip.
   3. Many rabbits do not purr when happy, tho this can be a case to case. They mainly do zoomies and binkies
   4. their ears aren't that sensitive. Tho again case by case
   5. do not for god sakes hold a rabbit by the neck, thats extremely uncomfortable for them. They need to have their legs supported (or touching ground) at all times.

That's all I can recall for now, but im sure there was more.

Also this was the only time in chrysanthemum garden where I found some translation inaccuracies, or maybe it's the style that the translator? Either way I didn't really like it. Props for the english grammar tho

The heart of this story is the relationship between MC and ML.

What I really like is the shift in dynamic. The romance initially seems like a cliche tyrant X sunshine but it's well-developed into an equal marriage between the pair. ML is tyrannical and possessive and that obsession never really leaves his core but what I really enjoyed was MC not being afraid of him later on.

MC knows ML basically has no bottom... more>> line for him and this erodes away his fear so they can be equal in love. ML is a good husband who pampers and respects the MC in his own way. He's also an active father even if he does get a little jelly of his kids lol. MC is also proper clingy once he realises he's in love. I love how they both pamper each other and show their love instead of a one-sided domineering romance. It's very warm.

I think the most interesting and real insight into ML's love for MC is the fake pregnancy arc where ML is willing to put MC own wellbeing and happiness above his own um respect as a guy? Lol it's a pretty funny arc but I really liked the ML from that moment.

The first time I read this story, it was in 2022. And I just re-read this story for the second time this month.

What can I say, THIS STORY IS REALLY VERY FUN..

One simple sentence that I can conclude for this story is: This story is like the story of the journey of two human beings who grow, fall in love, and are happy.

It's really really sweet..

No annoying third person.
There are no harems.

their characters are strong and full of PDA.

The extra even sprinkles a lot of sugar 🥹🫶

The story of their child is not just born and then a happy ending. In fact, I really feel that their family stories make me smile like a proud mother.

One sweet story in every aspect.

I haven't read the extra chapters yet but I'm gonna do a review now.

The novel is nice. The plots are logical and there's a reason behind it. Only thing I didn't get is why the ML always have an inexplicable urge to kill, or becoming ruthless. I'm not sure if the reason was said because I'm reading it in mtl. It's either I didn't see it or it wasn't written. I kinda speculate that it's because of the pheromones. The romance is written well. There's twists and turns but we did go to the end.

The MC's character is also good. We explored his character as we go by. At first, he was introduced to be a cowardly and a salted fish character but in the end he turned out as a capable and an intelligent person.

The ML is also like that. He was unlikable at first but we found him cute at the latter chapters.

I also like that there's other characters, like the eunuch, MC's school friends, and other friends. They liven up the desolate characters a bit.

The only disadvantage that I found is the fillers. It really took quite a number of chapters that it made the story boring.

Anyway, rating it 4/5.

personally, for me this is slightly overrated. At most I would give it a or 3.5 because I loved the interstellar throwback and the kids. The romance is cute but it could have been more emotional had the author written more deeply about their feelings. Its very slice of life which is nice but it would have been better if the MC and ML would be involved in more political plots.

. Lmao. The ML's desire to kill maybe comes from how he was badly treated by the person who should have protected him but harmed him the most ;[[ He became insecure and so guarded by anyone. He became guarded as well towards the MC and even felt desire to monopolize him but gradually, he felt most secured with MC. They later on realize their feelings and got sticky with each other.

Because they kinda only have each other, because they are like the same kind in that world, they held each other very importantly and grew closer with each other.

It’s cute and I have enjoyed it thus far, but tbh I’m getting a little bored. Not much goes on in this besides MC acting cute and ML feeling unknowingly good because MC is around and his pheromones smell nice. Probably won’t finish it unfortunately, I’m not really too invested in these two haha

I can't stand the ML being so overbearing, though it is written reasonably since he's an emperor. Sometimes I thought that he's improving but suddenly the ML has this urge to bully and kill the MC. I like the main story, a sweet love story.
The two never had a family, Wen Mingyu is an orphan and Mu Zhan is a bullied child who has a depressed mother and an absent father figure.

Destiny brought them together and ended up having a happy family with two adorable and cute children.
it turns out they had met when they were little, I was moved and cried...... I'm a rabbit lover so I can imagine how cute the scene is.

But I don't like the extra where the story turned into a game and suddenly it becomes a modern story... I just scroll and read it briefly even though I know that these stories are connected but to be honest I don't like it, , , I don't know Why

and there are many characters that only appear briefly and never appear again, the story focuses more on the situation of the two of them in solving problems in their hearts.

This review is from someone who loves reading about the "chase phase" and dislikes reading about the "established relationship phase". If you don't relate then this review might be meaningless to you.
