When MC was breaking through to Golden Core he's inner demon was ML in the novel.i always wonder being disgraced was he the bottom and was done by the cannon fodder? It sounds something like that urk.

The story divided into 4 phrase to me:

1. Meeting: Chapters 1-11.

Unique, Interesting.

2. Running away playing chase: Chapter 12-39

I didnt feel any happiness when they found each other. Felt so flat & empty. Chasing and running part way too long.

3. Annoying misunderstanding to make up chapters: Chapter 40-72

These were the most frustrating to read for me bc the part 2 was already long enough. I really wanted to drop this after the Dao knot showed white.

4. True love, happiness, dating : Chapter 73- End

Chapter 73 was the sweetest chapter when they finally were honestly with each other and resolved the Dao Knot misunderstanding. It was kinda funny when MC changed the knots to so many diff colors even rainbow. Very good felt like story finally started then it ended.

Bc of part 2 and 3 its not one I read again.

They spent their time talking. To entertain themselves, Chi Muyao shared some of his experiences and Xi Huai listened attentively.

Chi Muyao had already lived out his life expectancy without regrets, and in about two or three years he would die. He don't mind it but the moment, Xi Huai heard of h saying this, he became shaken. This is when he became open to the dual cultivation.

Slowly Xi Huai realized that Chi Miyao is someone he would like to spend his life with; however, Chi Muyao was still haunted with his knowledge of the "future" that it became his internal demon. He refused to show his face, only leaving the memories of them together.

the baby spirit deer!! Hello MC! You are dad now!! This is your child! The parent spirit deer literally gave the MC their most important power in exchange for raising this child and the MC tosses the baby at others to raise and doesnt check in ever until the nannies toss the kid back. Negligent spirit animal parenting. Spend some time with baby! This is neglect

I could have used some snu snu. Theyre aparently going at it 6x in a row but we dont even get one spicey scene? Unfair to the readers. If ur gonna make s*x a major plot point at least give us smut lol XD

For example, the villain Su Yao. At one point, I'm sure I read that he's quite old but later on, he seems young? And when he first met his love, how was he not discovered by the ML's dad? I don't know but it feels like he seems like a very 2D character. The typical villain who loves nobody but his love interest.

I feel like the MC's younger years could have been written more about. We know he followed the crown and eventually found his way into the He Huan/ Acacia sect. But what about before? When he first transmigrated? And his parents? I feel like he doesn't have muchof a backstory apart from being a straight A student who died due to overwork.

What happened to Ming Shaoling? The second FL in the original novel? And speaking of second leads, was the second ML, Yu Yushao, in love with the MC? Is that why he didn't fall in love with the OG!FL? What ended up happening to Mu Ren?
