It might be my own bias as the translator, but this novel is REALLY good!

I'll tell you what to expect. FL is really lovely and just makes you want to support her. ML is a sociopath (it's canon) but he learns to feel after being with FL. They started as childhood friends so you can expect cute moments when they're still children. (FL is 11 and ML is 12 at the start)

Spoiler

And after separating for a few years then reuniting, they'll have a more grown up romance!

[collapse]

The characters are really solid, especially FL and her munchkins (or as she likes to say, her pokemons). Since the "original novel" that FL reincarnated into is a shounen novel, there are some aspects in this novel that will remind you of a shounen adventure story.

The author said that this is a lighthearted romantic comedy.

Spoiler

I've read up until the latest chapter available before the author went on hiatus (c132) and there's no excessive part at all. It's light, funny, and exciting! Especially in the last few ones cause that's when the main couple got together

However, that doesn't mean that there are no serious parts at all. It does get serious and touching at some points, but it's mostly lighthearted.

[collapse]

All in all, I'm really excited to TL more of this. I also want to get to the juicy parts soon! And yes, I did get the author's permission. <<less

I really don't like this

MC often treated as a fool by the story, or at least naive, even thought she's quite old. Her subordinates thinks of her as cute and that disturbs me

The MCxML dynamic is just terrible

... more>> ML forses his presence on her and goes back on his word. He's not reliable or even trustworthy.

The story often highlights how he surpasses everyone and how he doesn't care, to the point he's an arrogant scum I hate to read about

After the incident when he betrays the MC I really can't read this anymore

Spoiler

When MC goes to the village to seek smithy she tells the ML to be around her as to not to get lost

Yet he dissapears and the MC get's in danger of a child trafficker.

She is just a little girl and the ML, who claimed to be her bodyguard, is nowere to be seen.

He's so freakin' strong and capable that he destroys the magic tower!!! YET HE COULDN'T PROTECT A 5YO!!

Then later turns out that while the MC was fighting for her live he just SAT ON THE ROOF AND WATCHED

BECAUSE HE THOUGH SHE HID HER MAGIC POWERS SO HE WAS TESTING HER

WHILE SWEARING TO PROTECT HER JUST A WHILE AGO!!

I couldn't stand that

and the MC even forgives him later in the carriage 'CAUSE BBY BOI MADE A PUPPY FACE!!

AS IF PUTTING HER LIFE IN MORTAL DANGER WAS NOTHING

The is a great read. An orphaned girl who lost her mother and father at a young age takes over the Grand Duchy and manages the thief under the care of her doting vassals and estate staff. The plot revolves around her taking measures to strengthen her fief as the lord and gain influence and wealth. Although like all korean reincarnation stories, she’s set in the premise of a novel and happens to pick up the villain. A psychotic maniac of a mage, our ML, however she wants nothing to... more>> do with him bc ofc he’s crazy. Disclaimer: In the original novel and still now, it’s canon that he lack human empathy and merely seems them as fun toys. You can’t just change that mindset immediately. So it’s unreasonably for people to give this novel bad reviews bc he isn’t your gushy ‘love at first sight I have to protect this girl’ type if male lead, he’s not supposed to be written as such. The development of their relationship comes from his character growth with the fML as she starts to accept him as someone sane enough to love. (Ofc you fo start to see him starting to favor our protagonist and get a little possessive over her in the midst of where the story is translated as of now) Also one thing, a review under me stated that the female lead is quite ‘old’ and is weird her vassals are doting on her like she’s a little girl. That’s bc she IS a little girl, she’s eleven, and when at such a young age she had her parents leave her, who else is going to provide that familial love. They just want to protect her and shield her from the harsh world, but our MC has already recognized this and aims to gain independence to let the duchy prosper in memory of her parents. So this is a must read if you have a little free time to spare. <<less

So far, the story is interesting and seems very promising. The relationship between the FL and the ML is just beginning, and I cannot wait to read more.

Translations are nicely done, too. Thank you and hope it updates soon~

This story is really funny and interesting, new readers should really read it, don't let bad reviews deter you guys from trying to read a novel and give it a chance!! I recommend strongly 👍

I like the humour in this story, they're so funny and it always make me laugh. The characters and their relationships are also cute and wholesome. For now there aren't much FL x ML interaction but so far I think they're cute. Sometimes the ML's personality or how he acts is also questionable but the term... more>> 'character development' exists for a reason. Some people might find him scummy but calm down y'all, you're not even halfway reading it at least let the chracters grow first.

It's nice that FL is treated kindly by everyone because I'm lowkey tired of crying my eyes out due to broken relationship and mistreatment of a character from other novels lmaooo. After all being treated as cute, nicely and so on is 100 times better than being treated like a garbage. <<less

Ok, this novel was amazing for me. It's so typically isekai, but you don't really feel the importance of being in a different world, or constant comparisons that a lot of isekais highlight. True, she does bring about some terms here and there, but there is no nonsense about I want to go home, or trying to improve the world by bringing in 'modern technology'. (So far.) What really drives me so far is the following points:

  1. Unique character dynamic
An orphan girl who is seen as the most adorable person on... more>> earth and the psychopathic sociopath of a wizard who stalks her. Not to mention, potentially the most powerful person at that. Mia and Eiansane are a couple that readers can't really empathize with, but can't help sympathize with. A Mia who like a lot of current villainess novels, try to avoid their own death. Very bashful, exceedingly cute and, as one of the chara's have claimed, "amiable". Eian, on the other hand, is also another orphan. And yes, this sometimes comes off as one of those stories where people get some sort of 'hero syndrome', where you hope he becomes healed by the protag because of 'love'..... Yeah right. Eian is his own character, his personality is rubbish, he knows how good he is and is not afraid to flaunt it. His curiosity knows no bounds, with no care on who gets hurt. Honestly, I am willing to bet that most readers are in it because of this cute/uncute Munchkin. How will he change, what will happen when he does, how will their relationship work out. I love Mia, but I want to see how Eian grows. That kinda feeling 🤭

  1. Easy to follow plotline, without being boring
Well, it's a shoujo type novel, what more can I say. The how's and why's are currently very evident in the chapters themselves, which is especially great for people like me who can't keep track of storylines that go on and on like some chinese drama novels (sorry, I just had to say it TuT). There is no massive misunderstanding that some dramas CANNOT do without. And yet, I have fun with the story. They add other elements, like fun characters such as the Blacksmiths, the alchemists and that teacher. You will know who I am talking about when you read it 🤭 For a story featuring Eiansane and Mia, it's a pretty feel good novel.

Anyways, for now, it's a read! I can't wait for Eiansane to develop further and for Mia to be the awesomeness she's meant to be x3 <<less
