- This novel is more plot-driven. I usually prefer a novel with a MC and his comrades beat the enemies together then their relationship naturally develop throughout the story as they experience adversaries together (ofc it would be better if the balance between the plot & character relationships are good) but I did enjoy reading this novel despite it being more focused on the plot that's why I included it in the pros list.
- Varied story arcs making the story not boring
- Enemies are not third-rates.
- MC doesn't always win his battles, which makes sense since his opponents are almost always 2 or more higher levels above his prowess. It's a fresh breathe in the air among the countless novels with OP MC always overpowering enemies that are supposedly leagues above them. It also makes the battles a bit more thrilling cause you don't know what will happen — although of course, the MC doesn't die because the story will obviously end if he does.
- Enemies to allies (not really a fan of this trope but surprisingly, I liked it in this story)
CONS- Author likes foreshadowing a bit too much.
- Character relationships weren't done naturally. Their bonds formed too fast; thus, they seem shallow and don't invoke any emotion in me.
- Narration is more on tell than show.
- There are too many explanations and thoughts during battles which make them longer than they're supposed to be and arduous to read.
- MC relies too much on hunches rather than confirming the information.
- Supporting characters aren't that fleshed-out. Some have a bit of personality but they aren't distinctive enough to leave impressions on me. Once I finish reading this novel, I'd probably forget them instantly. They're that unremarkable.
- There were some descriptives about some characters' physical appearances in the initial chapters but the author quickly gave up on them that's why I don't have a clue on what most characters actually look like.
- Sites with proper english translation have either slow updates or only have less than half of the entire novel fully translated in English. I have come across daotranslation with the entire novel translated in MTL but it's too horrendous for me to bear. I'd rather wait for more properly translated chapters than suffer from brainrot.
Anyway, I rate this 4 stars for now despite having more cons because I personally enjoyed the story.- Jin was seriously starting to get on my nerves. It already started before but his self blame started to get frustrating. Like yeah, before his regression things weren't that chaotic, and a lot of innocent died in this timeline whereas the previous one was relatively calm, but why he keeps blaming everything on himself? Weren't the zipple and runcandel there? What about kinzelo? His actions changed the timeline for sure but things were bound to get as ugly as they did or maybe even worse. What he did was mostly for the better, but he kept thinking during every arc how it's his fault and their deaths were "his responsibility as a regressor". I understand feeling guilty seeing all these deaths but it was becoming pathetic.
- Too many new characters and stakes introduced all of a sudden. We got like 2-3 groups that wanted to destroy the world in less than 300 chapters, all of them with genesis knight level characters.
- This one is not that serious but I didn't like how the remaining flagbearers became all about brotherly love after the evil god arc.

and Jin himself didn't care much about them, but suddently they were all acting protective of each other and acting like normal siblings. I understand wanting to change after what happened, but weren't they ready to kill each other not long ago?
- I don't like how they all pity and forgive Chiron after learning why he was always at the black sea. I know he is a fan favorite but let's be honest, Chiron is a terrible father and patriarch. Being a terrible father is understandable with how f*cked the runcandel family is, but he totally failed as a patriarch.

. I like Chiron and I understand he had valid reasons but them forgiving him that easily and and literally giving him excuses for everything is s*upid. Actually they never even blamed him, they just all admired their invincible father. And I think he could've done better still.
- The immortal and gods in this novel are the biggest joke ever. Low and mid level gods in this novel are basically prey to any power with a genesis knight.

And it was still tolerable but the last arc was so full of sh*t it's unbelievable.Runtia literally intended to kill Jin during their fights
Rosa was forced to accept chaos because of his absence when the clan was at its lowest and they would've been eradicated if it wasn't for Jin. I'm not excusing her btw, she's an evil bit*h
Zipple are literally hunting them to use them to make the demon god stone, that's almost anything they're mentioned for in the whole novel.
What the f*ck is this parallel dimension bullshit?! The Vamel alliance became the most powerful force after the liberation of the legend tribe and they would've absolutely stomped zipple, so to have the epic impossible final war author pulls this multidimensional zipple bullsh*t out of his *ss?! And the last battle at the black sea had me absolutely seething. I'll just write the things that angered me the most
because it was standard regresion novel, instead of soul of old man we have a grandpa dragon, instead of betrayal we have family feud, instead of cultivation we have spirit and magic ,
so MC hate his family because they trow him away in his first time, he hate them so much that he want to kill them but in his second life time its look like he change his mind, he want to rule over them, how fast was it to change hatred
cultivation is confusing, there is sword, magic and spirit which of course our MC can master all of them and everyone of them is graded with star like 1 star, 2 star, 3 star wich is ok but the problem is what the treshold to reach next level I mean he just sit down meditate learn something and boom he got to next level (solution : maybe he can add something like color example 3start got aura aroun their body green or blue etc also like 6 star is treshold to fly or something like that)
also magic and spirit is almost same so it maybe confusing in later stage
the plot is predictable
- Beating a bully twin siblings, dumped them outside to death = made the 'strongest' family member came out of seclusion :/ there's lot siblings, but the ruthless one is only MC, everyone just ordinary cold hearted chara
- Heavy plot armour = something inhuman called god/lord + old dragon + 1, 2, 3 star could be achieved by meditating
- Fortunately could get into secret space with lot of hidden information, and a dragon
- Get a gift for his faster leveling-up plot armour
In short, this guy is what kind of guy with massive luck that Fang Yuan hated to the bones because how... more>>-
- poor plot execution
The translation is good and the story itself isn't that bad (if you read too much regression novels you may feel cliche though) but I expected more and feel somewhat disappointed, the MC of the novel isn't really my favorite type, I don't know if he is ruthless, compassionate or just a hypocrite. The side characters aren't that remarkable, the review of @Samken covered almost every thing. Sometimes their actions and thoughts are too d*mb and annoying. Despite the dramatic and tragic setting of the novel, after the Mc's regression things developed smoothly, too smoothly without any competition, setbacks or someone who can be truly called a rival in the chapters I read. I do like OP MCs who always win but that depends on the plot, it either makes me feel the MC is cool or just a plot-armor id*ot.- Story about re-incarnation and redoing stuff! If you like reincarnation stories, this is one of the top ones!
- Male lead MC - he is intelligent, determined, balanced character - not a psychopath, has empathy, treats friends and families with care.
- MC is not super OP from the start - he slowly learns, builds up power - has quite a few close call throughout the novel. He never “cruises” through all difficulties. There’s sufficient edge in all his encounters.
- The family is completely dysfunctional! But the interest ion between the siblings is amazingly done! It’s a cut throat, dog eat dog world where each sibling is out to take the leader’s throne. It’s sad, heart wrenching, wrath evoking... and amidst these there are such pure gems Of interaction between MC, and few of his siblings...
- Yes the story has Dragons! Yass! But they are not portrayed as super OP...
- Well done action sequence, and great plot. I have been reading it non stop for last 48 hrs.
- No nonsense Harem, there’s potential of slight romance... and it’s building up naturally. MC’s life is way too busy escaping the clutches of his siblings and getting stronger.. who has time for romance?
- Has quite a few super strong girl characters! Love it!
- MC’s interaction with his OP dad is fun to read.
Overall it’s gem of a novel!u can clearly see jin's character development. He will understand that not everything is what is seems to be. For example his sister yonah.
There's only one thing I don't like. Translations come out kidna slow, when the chap ends, you just want MOAR!!!
