TLDR: This is a good series. RevengerScans does a good job of translating the series. While you could machine language translate or AI translate it, some details are lost even if it is somewhat understandable.

This is a good series. Not the greatest but solidly enjoyable. I have some minor dislikes about the series but, taken as a whole, this series is very enjoyable and readable. Action and intrigue are the main focus of this series. The plot centers around the Main character's family and heritage. While romance is mentioned, from what I understand, it is barely a subplot and brief.

It was an interesting read, yet just as much uninteresting. The general writing flow was kinda dull. The plot and characters saved the story telling a bit, but the further you go, the more you start feeling a bit bored. The first mini arc got my attention and intrigued me to keep reading on, but the failed story writing and slow paced flow made me drop after reading many more chapters onward. This is likely the reason the novel rates under a 4 on NU.

The fight scene that showcased the MC's genius prowess in a non fist to fist way during the first arc was mind boggling, but then once he got somewhat powerful it became very generic and dull. The new fight scenes afterwards just felt like filler to me honestly, and I wish they were done in a few sentences rather than filling up a whole chapter (s) like the mobile yetis vs the yeti king. I could've kept reading a bit more if it was. <<less
