All my favorite novels are suddenly getting translated this year I'm so happy😭. This novel is amazing I recommend it so much. Thank you to the translators for picking it up and adding it on here! I will try my best to give a decent summary. This review will contain spoilers.

So to start this novel features different arcs and each arc has a different protagonist/couple/story that ties together in some way and has its own ending and worldview. The arcs are all connected btw and all the protagonist are female... more>> and have a love interest (that isn't human or can even be said to be an evil entity). This novel is best described by its own summary, it is a series of would-be horror stories that turn into romance due to the female leads. This is not to say any of the male leads are abusive, in fact they are all kind and never treat the FL bad, but their identity is "evil". Now that that's out of the way let me give you examples of some arcs.

Spoiler

-ARC 1: The arc with the most interetsing plot/world imo. The setting is present day (kind of?) but in some parts the clan (family) still worship their own personal "gods". These families are usually rich families that get wealth or protection from the individual gods their ancestors created and these gods have existed for many years. Now in modern times the Gods power is dissappearing and the Gods are dying. The FL is a normal and even timid women on death row for several mu*ders (there is a reason for this). She and several others are selected as a sacrifice for a certain families God. This god is one of the few that still survive by eating people who kill others.

The God is really eerily described and tbh its indeed a horror novel up to this point. The God isn't even entirely in human form. He even eats a bit of the FL, but ends up vomiting it back out (reason explained later). From then on the FL hides at his altar from the family members who sacrificed her and gets along with this "God" who resembles a smiling Buddha but has alot of quirks. All the Gods in this story are heart-rending yet unique. The author built this world beautifully and the characters are layered and multi faced.

The first arc has a long explanation since I like it the most but the other arcs are also great and I will mention some standouts in no particular order.

Spoiler

-Another arc is a young girl transmigrated to a fairytale world. This girl is the daughter of one of the men the 1st FL mu*dered (an interesting connection). There, she has a witch for a mother, can talk to fairies, and there is a swamp monster not far from her. This swamp monster however is actually a gentle and kind being who plants flowers on his head just for FL and is just so silly and sweet. This arc is very magical and woodlandy and cute.

-Another arc I liked is about a fantasy world that features humans vs beasts in a survival of the fittest way. FL here is the owner of the body that the other FL above transmigrated into. Lol. This FL is at first weak in the harsh world and is traded as a commodity. But she is saved by... big foot? Or technically a polar bear monster? Anyway this polar bear monster is adorable and still a minor at the beginning with tsundere syndrome and a bear head (its soooo cute!!!) They live their days in ice paradise away from human civilization.

-Last one is one of the 1st ML worshippers/attendents who transmigrates to a world that has ghosts. The ghost in this case does a horror game where the descendents of all those who killed him are forced to enter and die over and over again. FL here is a participant and particularly badass. And the mu*derous s*xual tension between her and ghost ML is insane.

Anyway this review isn't that long but I hope others read it there is truly an arc for everyone and it is uniquely written with strong FLs and kind MLs, a decent plot, and good romance. Highly recommend! <<less

As mentioned in previous review, we have different stories with different protagonists. All the protagonists are connected and in the end, it comes full circle. Honestly, I love it that everyone gets their own ending and shines as a protagonists in their own stories.

In the first arc, we meet with a woman who almost gets sacrificed and her survival journey to fulfill her wishes.

In the second one, we jump into fairy world through the eyes of a daughter grown up from a criminal from the previous story and see her... more>> bloom and find love.

In the third one, the second stories FL owner of the body transmigates into new world as well and heals her previous trauma with a lonely companion. It's their story of growth.

The fourth one, personal favourite, has the story of vegenful ghost and really, REALLY business motivated woman, which brings hilarious dynamic into their relationship. I love her. Literaly, go for it gurl. Also, the protagonist here is familiar face from the first story.

Fifth one shows very interesting take on acolypcical world, where sea suddenly appears in the sky. In this, we see our MC adjust to completely new environment and species as well. And she gets to fulfill her childhood dream as well. 🤭 Anyways, like previous story, the protagonist is from the first world and from then one, every MC is related to the first story in some way.

Sixth story is interesting take on mechanical and acolypcical world, where we see world fall not due to zombies, viruses etc but due to worms. It's cute story about helping the world heal and also teaching emotions to robots.

And lastly, the seventh story.
Spoiler

This MC is our first worlds sister and takes action in the first world.

Interestingly enough, the story is about evil spirits and taoists. This story is literally where we see our suicidal MC heal and find peace with herself.

In the end, I can say that all the stories are interesting and every story has some kind of twist that you wouldn't have expected. If you are bored, I'd definitely recommend. The stories are short, and can kinda be read stand alone as well, but I wouldn't recommend it. <<less

Honestly, beautiful. All the stories are connected, with different kind of heroines and different kind of mls. It's not like the typical stories where only the character changes but the essence remains the same for every FL or ml. The plots are unique and with depth. Especially the last story was soooo beautiful. I want a adaptation of the last story 😭
