This novel is so good. It's not perfect, there are some things that are not the greatest, but after reading it all I felt so satisfied and I went back to keep rereading some arcs, because it is just so good in making you feel satisfied. I read some other BLs, even some quick transmigration BL, and after reading them I appreciate how well done this novel is.

First, this is a quick transmigration novel (many worlds). Each arc follows the format of 1 arc = 1 world. Each arc is... more>> roughly about 12 chapters, but it can go from like 9 chapters (least) to like 28 chapters (most). But those are extreme, the average arc is about 12. There are 15 arcs btw and the final wrap up arc so overall 16 arcs.

So the pros and cons of this are:

  1. Con: Since it's quick transmigration, the villains are not very impactful. When they are introduced, you roughly know they're going to be smacked down in one arc. So you don't feel much tension from them.
  2. Pro: However, the way they get smacked down AKA face slapped, it's really good! There's so many worlds with different setting, from ABO, cultivation, modern, sci-fi, fantasy, zombie, supermodel, royal palace etc etc. Each way they get smacked down is very fun to read.
  3. Pro: The way they get smacked down being fun to read, is also in part, because the MC is great. The MC is probably one of my favourites. He's the uke/shou/bottom but he's sooo good! He's not a whiny, passive MC bottom, he's the scheming, sexy, knows-he's-hot, black-bellied type. The way he's so confident and handles the situation is so good. If you like MC to have backbone and smarts, you will like him. While he does rely on his system to do things, he is also really good at acting. It doesn't feel like he overuse his system, more like he is using what he's got.
  4. Pro: Another good thing about MC, is, he's so flirty and does it so well. Reading some arcs I was squealing at how the MC seduce the ML. Honestly the MC has got more game than the ML ?? He's such a temptress and he does it in a sexy way. Not classy, not sleazy. Stuck in the middle plain sexy.
  5. Pro: The variations of romance! The romance between them is so good. Since they have 16 arcs, be prepared for 16 different types of dynamics! Some arcs honestly I just reread because I love their dynamics. They have so many different types of pairings. There's definitely an arc or pairing for you. That's partly why I said at first I didn't think the novel was good, since there wasn't an arc I liked, but later on it was so many arcs I loved. My favourite pairing was the

  6. Neutral but Pro for me: The ML. If you like OP, possessive, flirty, jelly ML who treat the MC right? You will love this ML. It's honestly quite funny how whipped the ML is for the MC. And there's no bullsh*t he fall in love at first sight for the MC, nope, the MC just outright seduced him. All part of his plan!

    Of course, in later chapters, when the timing is right, the ML can tell who is the MC and falls for him since he's drawn to him and knows it's the same person he keep falling in love in previous worlds. That makes for some really funny interactions, the MC rebu*t him or looking for him but right under his nose.

    I really like this ML since I like yandere-levels of devoted ML but doesn't hurt the MC. This ML fits me just right. That's why I put neutral, can be con or pro for you depending if you like it.
  7. Pro: Translation. The translation is so good and so clean! I didn't even realize this was MTL until someone commented. I was like, "wut, it's so clean and easy to understand but it's MTL???" and I was like half way into the whole novel. Bless kez for translating it! She translated it fully but she did not translate the extras. That's why this novel is not under completed by the way, it's fully completed but not the extras translated. Sadly it looks like she on hiatus or disappeared after that : (But thanks to her for translating such a good novel and so clean too! She translated it very well, there is not a single bit I feel confused.
  8. Minor Con: In the beginning they throw a bunch of names at you for the setting of each arc. If you roughly make a note of who is who and then keep reading, I found I can get through the arc quite easily. It might be a bit daunting, but honestly the translation is so clean and after getting used to who is who, you will be like "OHHH DAMN SO HE WAS FACE SLAPPING THIS PERSON SO WELL" and you will be enlightened.
Finally, this is neither a con or a pro but it's just something funny I noticed.

Foot fetish. FOOT FETISH EVERYWHERE. The ML has some traits which he keeps through worlds, one of them is a foot fetish. But honestly? I'm guessing this might be the author's personal pref leaking out, since also other characters will sometime describe the MC's feet as cute. There's no heavy foot fetish scenes by the way so don't be scared if you're not into that, the author just describes the ML thinking the MC has cute toes etc. It's like how some author will describe like "oh his collarbones are nice" "damn his butt" "HIS THIGHS" etc. Just the selected body part is FOOTTTT in this novel.

Okay, now that I'm done with telling you what is good and bad about this novel, I can just fangirl about all the parts I liked!!! Fangirling incoming!!

O M G The arc with MC as the twin of the girl and the whole flirting segment with the uncle? I just loved it so much. Like, it's rare to have portrayals of disabled people in fiction where they're not like DYING because they're disabled, or not seen as a love interest or seen as pitiful. I just loved the way ZYS was so willing to take care of him in that lifetime and just like live with his disability and just be his spouse / lover / husband whatever. And the part where he was at the party in the woman's dress and also just talking about how he has to study different positions for ML... Oh gosh. It was like, so accepting, loving, flirty, sexy, teasing, pe*verted, kinky all at once. I just died. All the while with the image of him sipping wine (well it was milk) in a classy white dress. I know at the end he recovers his legs and can stand, but for most of that arc he was disabled (in a wheelchair). I'm just so happy with the way the author handled it.

My other favourite arcs are the one with the concubine father and his adopted son. That was so cute! Like it was a palace arc, but honestly the way he interacted with his son, being so casually protective and caring to him. And also the way the ML was so clingy and wanted to be with his dad, and he came back all strong. I just. So cute. The visuals are too cute.

Then there's also the western fantasy one, I laughed so hard. The MC is so used to being in control but now he's all head over heels! It's so funny! I think I liked that one because it reminds me of when I read other novels, where I cringe at how the MC turns into some blushing maiden all for the ML and just turns from a smart MC into just a weakass in front of the ML. I don't like that. ZYS is me @ the MC of those novels in this arc.

Probably the weakest arc with romance is the supermodel arc. I see a lot of people liking that arc since ZYS got a friend apart from ML, but the ML was like... cannon fodder in that arc lol. He was just like a hot guy to pair up with the MC. Like sure they got together but it could have been better done the romance.

Then the funniest way of faceslapping is the music arc. I can't believe the author literally put song lyrics of famous songs lmao. I was like wtf lol!! seeing Adele's Rolling in the Deep in a chinese novel. But honestly? If I had a system and had to become famous through music or die? You bet your ass I'd also rip off famous songs from the future since I have no talent in composing.

Probably the only con is the ending arc. I felt it could have been better and more thought out. It was a happy ending afterall, but I wanted more to hear about their life together although I roughly know how they lived lol. Like, it felt like just another arc rather than the final ending arc. It was still not bad, I think the author ended it cleanly. Could have been more dramatic or something, but it's okay, it wasn't a bad ending that left me irritated. I felt quite satisfied.

Maybe the best face slapping is still the poor rich arc. I just love the way ZYS spun it around to be the person where he had such a pure love. Like, my heart broke for him even though I knew it was acting. It was just so good. And at the end he gets a richass man to marry, after such a dramatic conclusion with the friend.

In conclusion? If you like a smart, scheming MC who knows how to be a badass seductive bottom too, with lots of world hopping, different dynamics between him and a yandere-ish male lead + face slapping kinda BL? This is perfect for you. <<less

This novel undoubtedly became one of my favorites, I never tire of reading it, the MC and the ML have a unique personality, especially the MC, is so intelligent, well prepared and determined, beautiful, I lack words to describe how great it is, and your love for the ML is so intense and moving, you will definitely not regret reading it.

I adore this series. It's suuuuper long and I've already read the entire thing three times! It's a lot of fun to read and really well-written for a web novel, plus the dedicated long-term yaoi makes me so happy! It's made up of over a dozen sub-stories, all with the same two main characters finding each other again and again. The sub-stories range from Top Model contests to zombie apocalypse to reincarnation to... basically, it's a really long soap opera where the main character screws up the original plot and... more>> makes himself the star instead. The goal is to return to the real world, and the mystery is who is his lover, and how can they meet again in reality?

I love it.

I'm a bit shy, so it took me a long time to open an NU account, but for this enthralling masterpiece it is necessary to at least make known my thoughts.

This book is intricate, and, in my very humble opinion, the closest to perfection in written form. Now, please don't think of me as an overly sentimental fool, or a romantic: in reality it is disappointingly not so. However, I am a self-proclaimed *cough* fujoshi, and very, very picky as a reader.

The story as a whole follows the well-known scheme... more>> of system-host world-hopping, with a side dish of face-slapping by the host. It is well done, though, such that it is unique in it's thoughtful simplicity. The MC is the kind of individual I can only dream to be: brilliant, even-tempered. I love, love, love this novel!! I originally put it on hold after arc 2 because I hated the glasses Du Xu Lang had in arc 1 (LOL) but I started re-reading after being addicted to Heroic Death System, and I gotta say, it's super worth it!

Please give it a chance guys, I'm 100% sure one of the fifteen arcs will manage to squeeze your heartstrings. Immortal Lover is truly the best gong, and Yun Sheng is the best shou! Plus, there's select characters that would just make your heart... more>> weep, and stellar comedy and slow burn revenge that satisfies our little spiteful hearts.

Truly deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. <<less

This is surely my all time favorite transmigiration novel. Cant get enough of Yun Sheng. I never get tired in rwading this over and over agaim everytime I get burn out of other novels. Every arc is just so exciting. I just love how the ML falls in love with Yun Sheng in every arc. And Yun Sheng is just so cool. Sassy. Evil. Just love him so much!!!

Really really good read. I enjoy MC's personality especially his cunningness. The ML is really funny in some worlds. His overbearing attitude towards MC is cute??.

I love this multiple realm Novel and I think it's one of the best among the others.

basically the MC just tries to survive in the different worlds he's summoned to and has 2 main goals: complete his task and find his lover. (Starts after the 3rd world because that's when he realized that the ML might be immortal too) and the ML is always over 6ft tall, likes to smoke, and is possessive of him. It's nice that the MC really tries to look for him before settling down with someone :)

- the second world, kinda wasn't loving it at first but now its of one my favorites, the one where the MC was an painter fanatic and he had a little brother that was abused by the stepmom and nanny. (Not in*est, the ML isn't his actual father chill)

- the fourth world made my heart ache even though the MC was acting lol

- the seventh, my favorite so far omg this one was long lol but I loved it !!! Too bad there weren't many intimate scenes with the MC and ML here lol since the ML was the kid he was raising

I absolutely love this novel. The author is a genius!! Truely in every sense! I love the romance between the MC and ML and I love how every different arc gets more and more insteresting and quite addictive. The more I read, the more I want the author to continue publishing more different arcs in different world settings. The only thing I didn't like was how the final boss was defeat. [You'll get it, if you've read it.]

Finish reading it today simply spectacular. Thank you very much to the person who did it, the author is just great. I only hope that people who have not yet read it may have the opportunity to read it because it is not fair that they should have such a great story.

The characters are simply extraordinary, Zhou is bad, tender, sensitive and beautiful, I love him. And her hubby is so aware of the one that makes me envious. One of the best light novels ever. I have been reading LNs for the past couple of years and this was no doubt one of the best. I wont choose a particular arc which is good because all the arcs were fantastic. There is a lot of romance and the characters are always lovey dovey everywhere but its not explicit, for example, the s*x scenes are not described in detail but it just makes the scenario for it, like kissing, etc. I sometimes read BL light novels but this is... more>> absolutely one of the good ones. The good thing I like about this LN is that there are varieties of topics the author talks and writes about, it stretches from Gods/ Deities to zombies and zergs, advance technology to ancient china to modern world, art to music to fashion and of course from eastern fantasy to western fantasy, etc, which is truly fascinating. I truly recommend this light novel. <<less

My favorite is the 1st arc because MC is basically himself (in most of the arcs he takes one mask of the character till grave - even in front of ML).

I can agree that arc 9 is good but not my favorite.

There were story lines that were hard to read (12 - Immortal Cultivation) due to terminology (my 1st time reading this setting) but overall I could not wait to know what was going to happen next.

About main couple one can basically say:

  1. MC (ZYH) - is a genius hacker, revenge mastermaind and a beauty. He usually helps chatacter he posses to fullfill their wish (like to be famous, finish what "the body" started). If he loves you - he will love you till the end and do everything for you (world can go to hell) but if you cross him he will destroy you (mostly manipulate so that his oponent self-destruct).
  2. ML ("Immortal Lover") : at least 1, 90m high, super handsome, very influential and rich, people are scared/weary of him (usually arc "protagonist's biggest cheat") but after meeting ZYH he is super kind to him (and basically allows him to do whatever he wants + supports him in his plans when needed... sometimes even when not wanted), in several arc a smoker (in arc 5 even returned to smoking after hearing that ZYH likes the smell), has some bad habits (stalker, pe*vert, a bit sadist, a lot masochist - why else would he fantasy about ZYH smaking him? - and would
    love ZYH to be super-glued to him) and is

a virus/self destruct program that was loosing but thanks to ZYH got a lot of strength to fight back.

As for the whole "yaoi" (or lack of it). Thy have a lot of s*x but the scenes are not too graphic (mostly kissing and necking). Only in arc 11 (ABO) one of the characters gets in "heat" and is le*d. There were several times they unzip pants... and a few words

Love love love this novel! I was internally screaming inside practically the whole time I was reading this.

Out of the novels I've read, not just BL, this was one of my favorites. All the story arcs were definitely squeal-worthy. Some of them were light-hearted, and others were kind of sad and bittersweet. I like all of them, but there are some that are closer to my heart.

The MC is badass and cunning but can be quite adorable too at times with the ML. And their interaction is fun to read... more>> in every story arc. Even though the ML is described as a pe*vert and stalker, it's hard to hate him. It's actually a bit endearing. Some ideas incorporated in the plot, on its own, may be cliche, but this novel is not corny at all. Even though I don't reread books often, this is something that I'd like to reread again someday. This novel makes me into bl. The best novel I've ever read.I really like the main chracter's mind, not too sharp or not too dull. The plot is really good and you'll never be bored while reading each chapter. The side chracters are also perfectly written. The translation is the most satisfied I've ever read. It's a good novel whether you like bl or not.

I was one of the reader's who started reading this when it was still 10 chapters translated, i've read this 3 times already and I never ever ever got bored of it. It's like watching your own cjild growing up, it really made me tear up both from happiness and sadness. Happy because it was sucj a great story and sad because I know that it is completed and I can only imagine things from then on whatever future they may have.

This bl is one of the pioneer in my... more>> heart, it opened so many new things and stories which made me addicted. I hope I'd have amnesia of this one so I can read it over and over again. I cannot express my emotion too well because it's unstable right now from grief (of finishing the story again) maybe next month I'll read it again so I'd be able to appreciate it again (lile I always do)

Please more of this stories, I'm so addicted, I need more dosage before I go insane.

The author is so talented in coming up with so many different personalities, and making sure that none of them feel flat. There’s such a ingenious blending of the original character and MC/ML personalities that it feels both fresh and familiar. I loved every arc and will DEFINITELY re-read this in the future. <<less

The one that started it all.

Hahaha. FoD is the novel that started me on systems and fast wear both. The pacing may be fast for some but it's a good read for those that want a quick story with fluff. MC is hilarious in some arcs, somewhat shameless on a morality standpoint and his interactions with ML is downright cavity-inducing in some arcs and tear-inducing floods in others. The overall plot doesn't hurt and the hints to it are ingenious in subtlety and can make you do a double take... more>> in others.

And finally. ML. Just ML in general. If anything you have to read it for him. Hahaha

All in all a fun read!

When I started reading this, I coudn't let go of my tablet. This deserves my first ever review.

Keztranslations did a phenomenal job in translating the story. As what others have said, this is about one man and his true love overcoming barriers in different timelines. The writing is gripping and poetic at times. I admit I've gotten teary-eyed in some scenes. I found myself smiling and giggling at others. It made my romantic soul feel full. This is a story that is worth rereading and its magic won't fade.

THIS NOVEL IS TOTALLY RECOMMENDED.

After 2 volumes in, I initially thought that this novel was overrated. Well, shame on me. The purpose of this novel is mainly for executing beautiful revenge, so there are more face-slapping and less kissing scenes. The author usually only spent around two to four paragraphs at the end of every arc about the couple's lives after the revenge. It serves its purpose perfectly though, so if face-slapping is what you're looking for, it contains just enough romance and you don't have to worry about the plot getting side-tracked.

Even though there's only one ML throughout the story, but the idea of the MC not knowing that he was the same ML and still hooked up with him was quite disturbing. His revenge process was absolutely ruthless, he came off as cold-blooded. However, the MC is justified for every actions he took. He's rational, not cold-blooded. And the loyalty and deep affection between the couples give a whole new weight to the word of Soulmate.

  • The MC is super quick-witted and rational, he does everything way too perfectly to the point that you actually kind of hope he would mess up a little bit. But you'll get to see more of his cute and personal turmoil later on, it's super satisfying. He never did foolish things that forced you to take a break from reading to face-palm.
  • The ML is super possessive. He's completely obsessed with the MC, but it's not a destructive obsession along the line 'if I can't have him, no one can.' -- where the ML would be willing to hurt his companion in order to keep the other all to himself, no. He put his lover's interests and happiness above all. Ready to sacrifice his everything.

    except when he's doing the deeds lolol. The author never explicitly describe their delicious lemon moments, and yet still successfully create a super high s*xual tension and left us hanging.

The first volumes may seem boring and the plot doesn't seem to be flowing, but they are completely necessary for the future plot and character development. The plot started to grow more serious at 9. Prepare your heart, folks. Seriously.

The author attached a lot of references that actually exist/happened in the

(our) real world, giving the story a more solid background setting.

I kind of hope the author wrote more about them after they came back to the real world though. I'd really love to see them get married and for it to be explained in details. I need more of their lovey-dovey moments.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE

Seriously. I really loved this novel. At first, it was a tad confusing trying to figure out the situation but the stories, the worlds, lifetimes... the MC and ML ahhhhhh <3 Just perfect.
