Came here for isekai troop. And have to say it is well delivered with sense of mystry for what the world has for MC in store as well as the characters. Apart from MCs development really liked the individual characters personality and how they are all different from each other. Except of slow progress in overall story, have loved it till now. The execution, the delivery and the world building are just great! This is easily worth reviewing.

Pseudo Resident's Illegal Stay in Another World is a refreshing take on the oversaturated isekai genre. Our protagonist Hassan finds himself abruptly transported to a medieval fantasy world where he's immediately captured and sold into s*avery due to his different skin and hair color.

What sets this story apart is its focus on Hassan struggling to adapt to this bizarre new world where he's treated as a barbarian savage. Both sides see each other as strange and crazy, leading to hilarious misunderstandings and fish-out-of-water comedy. Hassan has no special abilities or... more>> powers to rely on either.

The worldbuilding presents an intricate setting pulling from Greek/Roman mythology for its power system and pantheon of gods. The diverse cast of side characters all feel well-developed and lifelike. Hassan progresses realistically from weak to strong through his own efforts over time.

While there is some s*xual content, the novel thrives primarily on its witty humor, rich characterization, and exploration of clashing cultures. The writing skillfully balances tense action with lighthearted comedy. The relationships and mature scenes are handled with nuance as well.

Some reviewers criticize the slow pace, but persistence is rewarded with an immersive story that methodically constructs a vivid new world. For those seeking a fresh take on isekai fantasy with a heavier focus on worldbuilding and characterization over action, Pseudo Resident's Illegal Stay delivers a uniquely entertaining read. <<less

This novel is one of the best R-18 novels out there. Although the novel is tagged as adult the actual novel is driven by an intricate and carefully crafted plot that keeps readers engaged and invested throughout, and the adult tag is mainly there as the R-18 scenes are very explicit.

The novel is full of odd and memorable side characters that make the world feel unique. One of the villains, for example, believes that he is bald because he is the son of the sun god, and he uses his... more>> head to reflect sunlight and blind his enemies. Or a bard side character that over exaggerates everything the main character does resulting in people becoming more afraid and ostracizing him further.

The religions in the novel are woven in well and they actually play a large role in the story without seeming shoehorned in or playing a role that is purely antagonistic. The author's extensive research into all the different religions and mythologies that the novel takes inspiration from, such as Greek or Norse mythology, also help make the world more immersive. The authors attention to detail and extensive research is also shown as he uses medical terminology and refers to medical concepts. <<less

i like the world and the Main character as they seem like a lot of fun. So far I like the what is being told here. The one thing that I dislike and and the one of the main reason I’m dropping it is how they develop the MC. So the MC is dropped into this world right, immediately racism and is ens*aved. So far im completely fine with it. But then comes the discrimination and how MC deals with it. You know what he did, nothing and actually became... more>> the stereotype making him look s*upid like a savage and just making the whole experience worse. Like I know the world is dangerous but have some pride. After reading this far I can’t deal with a MC who can’t take pride in who he is and just 1) is s*upid and only relies on stats and God powers 2) just blatant racism that is suppose to be accepted (?). The whole thing was sweet but leaves a very bad taste in my mouth <<less
