Tbh, it’s a bit hard to understand. I’m reading the TL but I’m still so confused DX so many things happened in such a short time and the MC is all over the place. Idk if it’s just the author’s writing or the many metaphors that had to be explained through TL notes, but yeh, my head was all @.@ I think the story is not bad, the setting is a little unique but the messy plot kind of overthrew that. ANYWAY, I’m going to drop it for now and... more>> come back later to see if I’ll be able to comprehend more easily at the time. For the sake of my future self, here’s a basic summary...

BEWARE OF POTENTIAL SPOILERS

Summary: The MC is a transmigrator who travelled into an interstellar era with a SYSTEM inside of his head. After transmigrating, he discovered that he was pregnant and that his current relatives had bad intentions towards himself and the child. As such, he decided to trap the child’s father (who doesn’t know anything) into a deal. The setting of the world is, as mentioned, interstellar. But it’s also fantasy. Here, the most intelligent species are called Lesters (not humans) and they have something called soul power, that enables them to live longer and fight against soul beasts. (It also allows men to have children, which is where the MPREG setting comes from). The focus of the story is... well, I expected it would be childcare, but it seems to be family drama and exploring the potential of soul power. The MC is not only naturally talented but through the system, he has a special magical space for purifying the soul. <<less

I don't like MC's behavior, it felt like a forced match with Ml, oh I like your family environment, you are a good person to trap... No matter what I just feel that MC character has a lot to be desired, e.g. his forcing contact on the plant... and other stuff... no good development of the plot... still it was an okay read... just left me in a bad mood...

This novel was hilarious, main CP cute & innovative! I love when shou takes initiative for once and Yang Yang is a super cool mc!

Lots of fluff, lots of funny interactions and lots of cute puff! The most pleasant read.

Extras are also cute and fluffy, a bit regretful we didn't get to see beast Archibald more.

This story actually show promises. With childish bickering MC and ML. I think it is fresh how their relationship naturally develop with more interactions.

However, Idk why I just got bored at this point and so decided not to continue anymore.

Even though I'm still in chapter 50, I assure you that this story is a hidden gem to me. The first time I read this novel was 3 years ago which is what has made me take a liking for BL novels. If you are curious about the storyline, why don't you go and try reading it? I'm sure it's worth your time :)

I completed reading this. The last chapter in this novel is 160. However, the author mentioned that it is not the last chapter and there would be another chapter. (But there is still no extra chapter yet T_T it's been years (?) since the author updated.

The novel is light hearted to read but not to the point that it's boring. It made me curious until the end. I have tons of questions to ask because it is cliffhanger. I really hope that the author will write the special chapter because I want to read more the story.

This story has enough conflicts and it is also cute. Made me laug a lot while reading it. <<less

Cute and fun story with an actual plot. Not too heavy but has a lot of comedic moments in the beginning and transitions to being more fluffy in the end. I like the relationship dynamics of everyone. A bit sad we didn’t get to see more of the moth group in the end, or Yang Yang’s plan to use the fruits of bean sprout’s kid to help others. But my fave characters overall would be our narcissistic puff and the suicidal Monta.

Comedic light-hearted plot like: The Supporting Male Character Just Wants to Be a Tool Man

MC + ML dynamics of this novel is like mix of both couples in previously mentioned novels.

I pay attention a lot to ratings:rating amount. I don't touch anything that has a rating lower than 4.3 since there's limited time one can spare.

If the novel is lower then it usually means that the book might be entertaining but there's just some triggering factor in it that is sometimes just really hard to ignore if you are using a little bit of brain when reading instead just of going with the flow.

As the other reviewers say, this doesn't deserve to have rating 4.2, I would say it should be around 4.4 and 4.5. Maybe a little bit better than The Supporting Male Character Just Wants to Be a Tool Man but can not compare to My Husband is Suffering from a Terminal Illness.

^ That's why I gave it 5* for now

Quite charismatic MC and ML, they are not cardboard that's for sure.

It introduces many more supporting characters besides the couple so yay.

The plot is nothing really dramatic or groundbreaking but it's enough to entertain even though everyone be mostly chilling.

The world building is not bad, you can say that one can see that the author is actually trying to build one. Sometimes it's well-done with interesting mechanics and other times just some lengthy paragraph you would skip since it's 2AM and you just want to and it won't affect anything whatsoever.

Translations and overall language is not the best but good enough. It needs a lot of editing though to be better. The pronouns changes a lot, because of the MTL residue. For example the main characters pronouns change, and it's just a typo, we read on, but when it happens to side characters and new characters. It's quite hard to determine which pronoun actually applies and might ruin a little bit of reading immersion. Like you might imagine them as a man/woman just to find out later they are the opposite. <<less

A pretty good read so far. It can feel a little boring after a while if you binge read it. The interactions with the ML's tail = cuteness overload! The baby's soul form playing in the soul cube = OmO!!! so cute!!! I'd recommend reading this after a more heavy or dark story since its just a sweet read so far.

Rebirth BL, Transmigration BL, Interstellar BL, Beastials / Animal Characteristics, Face Slapping, Family Schemes

Waiting for a completed better translation... Sigh

Very good! Very fun! The plot and overall is interesting, MC and ML did not fall in love at first though they have a child... Why? Read it yourself.

Anyways It's HE with many sweet n fluff interaction between MC, ml, and their child. I strongly recomend this for u who like mistery with HE for the end.

Great characters, humor, good chemistry and a lot of meng. Would have been a full 5 stars if not for the headaches when science things related to "soul' were explained. Also the names without family names made it a bit difficult at times to get their family relationships from the start. Still a very good story, with great pacing and PUFF was a cutie. As was the Duke.

  • ML nd MC duo is quite funny loll the ML was quite slow in terms of romance nd flirting at the start but ltr became efficient thx to the MC anyways its a little bit like enemies to lovers cos the uncle introduces the MC to ML to serve him s chess piece in his plan just for the MC to turn the sitution arnd and they eventually get together (MC & ML) but yes
  • the story got a bit draggy frm chapter 50 made me lose interest ngl
  • das all so far I dropped but its not too bad if u dont have any gd stories to read and u want to read a fluffy one to waste time u can read this

I won't rate this novel yet because I might still pick it up later, but at chapter 10 I feel like I need to put it down and think about whether to go forward first.

The background setting so far is the typical, dogblood family plot, which is okay. What I can't really get past is the main character. I mean, would Chinese authors suffer a sudden heart attack if their main characters weren't jumping idiots who are supposed to be smart?? I get that the MC is in a bad... more>> situation he needs to get out of ASAP, and some things he obviously can't explain due to his transmigration, but his way of doing it is so ridiculous while also setting up future troubles for himself that I just can't. It feels like the good doctor in his original life was a drama addict and still treats his current life as if he was still just watching the screen --- the more drama the better.

Maybe my last sentence was a bit unfair as in the beginning MC still showed some signs of intelligence but those signs seem to fade out of existence as we progress to suit the author's purpose. To cover up his gold finger's existence he makes up a very-easy-to-pierce-later-on tale about him being a secret IT genius who created his system and the system had some logs for him from which he inferred something is not as it seems with his uncle's family. He also very conveniently can't recall any of his (non-existent) knowledge since he is "amnesiac". And he also spins a very (in my opinion, unnecessary and) convoluted story about him only liking women and how the match up with ML is incompatible with his s*xual orientation.

Twas hard to read in MTL. Was intrigued by the MC's shameless, calculating character but a lot of the terminologies get lost in translation.. From what I could read, it seems a bit all over the place (as this is one of the first futuristic, sci-fi novels I have tried to read), I got overwhelmed. MC's pregnancy I get, I wanted Mpreg, but then he has the system acting as his butler/robot that's honestly OP capable (way too much ability now that the system can interract with others too), MC... more>> suddenly gets a strong surge of 'soul power' and gets an ability to see souls or whatever as a 'sickness'.. Can also purify his unborn child that was bound to inherit a genetic sickness.. It's a bunch of plot armour on top of another. Maybe I'm just not cut out for this kind of stuff.

anyway leaving this here in case I come back a few months later and forget why I dropped it. <<less
