The night he crossed over, he was told that his “wife” was having a baby.

Upon entering the delivery room, he discovered his “wife” is actually a man!!!

Was there anything more terrifying than this?!

Li Jin had just woken up when he saw a man run out from the room.

“Li Jin, your family’s husband is having difficulty giving birth. He can’t hold on anymore!”

In ancient times, dystocia was known as “one corpse, two lives”.

Without even thinking about it, Li Jin rushed into the delivery room. —He was an obstetrician.

After crossing over, Dr. Li, who was respected for his medical skills, became a “soft rice man” who relied on his “wife”.

This is very slice of life, but one with a hopeful goal in life. There's literally zero drama and angst. I was dreading the end of the book, I wanted more chapters of it. I liked the little spin on his transmigration.

There isnt really much to spoil but
Spoiler

here they are

    • The main story spans just about 6-7 years
    • They have 2 more kids after the little Bun, the last one is concieved in the
      extra chapters
    • He gets the first position in all exams he writes
    • He becomes a mathematician rather than a doctor in the end.
[collapse]

I like the MC's characterisation, maybe its because the story is narrated from his POV, but we get to see his nervousness, excitement and fear that lies underneath his very cool facade. The side characters vary too, and they all have very interesting lives, although the insight we see into their lives are quite brief, but its still satisfying.

The ML is quite loveable and also capable.
Spoiler

he becomes starts writing and publishing diaries that inspired quite a few people.

[collapse]

The relationship between them the MC & ML is soft & gentle. I liked how people are always shocked when they see how much the MC cherishes the ML

REALLY EASY TO MTL. TRUST ME.

This is really heartwarming, The MC is the gong, and he's really good. His temperament is calm and indifferent, but deep inside he's a thoughtful person. He's a genius who work hard. Everything he do is logical tbh, because the author clearly explain about his effort in study, working, and doing the housework. So it's not like he has a golden finger just because he's transmigration back in time.

He said it himself in the earlier chapter that the only advantage of his transmigration is because... more>> he's an adult and a doctor, he is calm and more cautious, he also has this confidences, some soft skill like talking, gesture, and experience in his previous life like a formal meeting, dangerous operation that makes him different from ordinary. He's not OP. His knowledge about math is different in Ancient so he has to learn from the starches. No worries, as I said his advantage lies on his experience as a doctor. Before become a doctor (in modern) he study a lot for the college examination so he experienced in "hard-studying". He's a hard working man. No matter how difficult it is he's bear it up.

AND, He really care about his wife (ger) and child OMG so cute.

At first Li Jin only treat Wenwen (the ML) coz of his responsibility as a doctor and the husband, he treat both Wenwen and Baozi (1st child) as a cub, lol. He's really doting and devoted to them

Later, about 30 chap he realized he want to kiss and eat his little wife..... so he eat it happily.

Spoiler

Actually Li Jin in ancient time is the real Li Jin. At 8 years old Li Jin in ancient times drowned into the well and his rational and indifferent (?) side of his soul transported into modern time where Li Jin become a doctor. So after 8 years old, Li Jin in Ancient become violent and bad tempered until 18 years old, when his rational side soul come back to him.

You can say it was like transmigration from Ancient to Modern and then back to Ancient again.

So Li Jin in Ancient and Modern is the same person.

[collapse]

This is basically slice of life you see. This danmei telling a story of Li Jin's journey to become a mathematician master. First, telling about Li Jin's effort to raise his family by working part time in clinic, farming, and doing all the housework, basically how he struggles in his poor life. Then he got the first place at imperial examination Tongsheng, Shengyuan, Juren, Gongshi, even Jinshi and become Zhangyuan (the first place in the entire nation), but he didn't want to become an official, only become a scholar that help the development of ship building, so in the end he become something like Emperor's right hand, basically emperor treat him high so no one can bother Li Jin.

Honestly, in the first place Li Jin doing the examination only because his family's WenWen and Little Bun. He thought that become a scholar is respected so no one will bully his family. If there aren't anyone who bothering them then he can live quietly and peacefully with his little wife and bun, and also, he want to developing math in ancient times to makes everything easier.

Li Jin and Qin Muwen had 3 children, Little Bun (baozi) aka Li Ruo a ger, Little Leopard (bao zi diff character with Bun) aka Li Zeyuan a boy, and the third child is unknown since the last child is mentioned in the last extra chapters and still in Wenwen's.

MC and ML relationship is really warm and soft, the MC always try to make ML comfortable and feel equal, pamper him, spoil him, teasing him. There isn't any angst, drama, and dog blood scene at all!! FULL HEARTWARMING MODE.

Both MC and ML has a good temperament and character, they're equal. People thought that ML is inferior and only feel noble coz of MC, but in reality slap them hard. Even with out MC, ML is really has a good character and temperament. They are really matching omg so pretty.

The ML, Qin Muwen is really good natured, obedient, and virtuous, he really care for Li Jin.

I really want to have a wife like WenWen.

I am definently gonna re read this!

Absolutely recommended,

A GOOD STORY, FINALLY

Let me start by saying that the title of this story is totally misleading. The title should be "The Transmigrated Li Jin's Daily Studying Life". Because the MC, Li Jin, only studied day and night without break from the beginning of the book to the end. There is really no 'daily farming life'. His farming life was limited to growing few vegetables and watering them daily for few chapters in the beginning. Then he started to study for the imperial examination and the story ended with the... more>> result of the palace examination.

MC

MC is a rational guy. He is hard working and responsible. He is like an imaginary perfect husband. MC was a doctor in his previous life so I initially thought that he would make great contributions in the field of medicine. But, unexpectedly, he became famous for not only medicine but also for poetry, simplified 'applied' mathematics and shipbuilding.

ML

The ML, Qui Muwen, is also very sweet. He was initially beaten and scolded by the original Li Jin for two years after their marriage so you can imagine how he was like. But the MC really helps the ML to develop confidence and stand out among the crowd after his transmigration. The ML is really devoted to his husband and children. He always puts the MC before himself and supports him in every step of his life. It is mentioned in the story that the two things he really hated in the past were: sewing and calligraphy. But later in life, his two most favorite things are sewing clothes for his husband and children and learning calligraphy from his husband. But still the story is really conservative in some aspects compared to similar novels. The 'gers' in other similar novels are more outspoken and outgoing then the ML in this story. The only time he went out of his house alone was up to the village gate to wait for the MC. But then, the story is so realistic that when you really think about it, the reality of even the most outstanding women in the ancient China was probably like this so I won't comment further on it.

REALISTIC STORY

Some other aspects of the book are more realistic compared to similar stories. For example, in many other similar stories, it is so simple for the MC to earn money and will earn dozens of taels of silver in just one day just after he transmigrates. But in this story, MC actually earns less than a tael of silver towards the beginning. Even towards the middle and end, he really doesn't get rich but gets famous for his ingenuity.

If the things written in the story about the imperial examination is true or even half true then I can't sympathize enough with and praise the scholars of ancient China. The vivid depiction of how hard the MC studies is truly inspirational not only as an imperial examinee but also as a student of any examination is general. The whole story is written in such a melancholic way that it really feels like everything that happened is true.

The thing that makes this novel stand out from other similar novels is also that no 'nonsense' is written. For example, there are no jealous villagers, no cunning stepmother and stepbrothers, no s*upid gossips, no clingy flower of the town that harasses the throughout the story and absolutely no s*upid drama.

RELATIONSHIP DYNAMIC

The relationship of the MC with every character in the story is truly mesmerizing. Li Jin is also extremely devoted to his husband and really spoils him on every chance he gets. He spoils his children as well but never forgets to give them good education and freedom to choose whatever they want. The thing that is especially interesting about this story is that the relationship of the MC with his friends and seniors are so well-written and realistic. Unlike similar stories where the relationship of the main characters with side characters feels so superficial, the relationship dynamic depicted in this story is so freaking real. For example, Li Jin is usually taciturn and has an evergreen poker face like many typical seme characters. But Li Jin actually sheds tears when he parts from his best friend and senior brother of the village. His relationship with his master is also very sweet. It is mentioned in the story that in his previous life he had nothing, but in this life he has a husband, children and friends. This thought of Li Jin really shows how far he has come in his life.

CONCLUSION

All in all, if you like reading about ancient China, especially imperial examinations, then this story is for you. <<less

It started good and promising until the 29 y/o Li Jin started to have s*x with the 17 y/o Qin Muwen and there was this chapter where he said ... more>>
Spoiler

It seemed that no matter how outgoing and generous he was, he was still quite shy about this matter (s*x).

However, Li Jin was very satisfied with his innocence. This way, he could mold him into exactly the person he liked, from head to toe.

To be precise, the current Qin Muwen was the person he liked.

But everything could still be taken to the next level.

[collapse]

that's g*ooming and pe*ophilia at it's finest well not only that, but he's manipulative too...
Spoiler

Li Jin's physical strength was already good. At first, the young man begged and cried (during s*x), but later he couldn't even cry and could only passively endure (he was still recovering from giving birth). It was only then that Li Jin let go and held him to sleep.

Li Jin thought that if the young man said yesterday was too intense, he could only shrug it off. After all, the young man belonged to him, and even if his body couldn't handle it now, there would be a time when he would get used to it.

As a man, he would never compromise in this aspect.

what the actual F**k is this NOO. I don't even know how to change the rating, it doesn't deserve even half a star, poor Qin Muwen... <<less

This is a pretty decent transmigration novel. MC, a modern OBGYN, dies to truck-kun and finds himself in feudal China. Despite being a modern man, he struggles to assimilate with society as he needs to cope with ancient rules and the environment.

Spoiler

It's later revealed that he experienced double transmigration. He drowned when he was a child and went to the modern world, only to come back when he died a second time, so the feudal body is his true body.

[collapse]

The romance between MC and ML comes naturally, first out of mutual respect, then affection, and then love. To be honest, this is less of a romance novel and about the growth and development of a family. MC's road to success takes quite a long time, actually. There's no golden finger as MC works hard for to get where he is, although to be fair, he does have the discipline that comes with 8 years of medical school + residency.

In the end, he chooses not to pursue the route of medicine as he understands that modern medicine is incompatible with the times. Rather, he decides to pioneer engineering and applied mathematics in order to assist with the development of the nation.

Their kids were cute and acted like real kids. Gotta applaud MC's horrible naming sense.

Spoiler

He named his first kid bun (bāo) and his second kid leopard (bào). With any luck, he probably named his third kid protect (bǎo) or hug (bào)... -_-;;

[collapse]

It's a light and easy read with a solidly happy ending. <<less

Well, it's kinda slice of life about protagonist. The story was okay and smooth sailing. Completely different from other transmigration story!

MC (top) who transmigrated into a parallel ancient world tried to improve the life of his family. About the framing; it was only on the first few chapters.. Rest was about his growth little by little. He was one of the most disciplined, determined and hard working MC I have ever read. ML (bottom) who was obedient a bit cute & was complementary to MC. ML was with him through... more>> thick and thin. He was a part of mental support of MC.

They had cute little kids, liked all of them specially Baozi. His interaction with his dads was cute, and also pairing him with general mansion's kid felt sort of a short story. Glad that I read those side story also.இ﹏இ

So it's a ordinary story with no dramas with fluff here and there. Can give a try! (^_^) <<less

A super cute slice of life with no drama (no mother in law who ab*sed the ML and appears to demand money, no leech siblings, no insane secret background where the ML is actually the son of an emperor, no political intrigue etc)

The MC is genuinely a once poor scholar who studies his way to the top while doting on his husband and child. Their relationship is so healthy with the MC loving and supporting his husband constantly reassuring him of his good qualities and his husband too supports... more>> and loves the MC in everything he does.

Their child Li Ruo or baozi is the cutest loveliest baby and the MC loves him so much
Spoiler

, one of the reason he works so hard is because baozi is a "ger", he wants to have enough power so baozi can live carelessly and freely choose his husband and not be reduced to a concubine of some old guy as "ger" have the lowest ranking in society. MC's husband is even shocked sometimes because MC loves and spoils baozi so much and that isnt the norm.

[collapse]

My heart truly broke when I was reading about how much MC's little husband went through in the first two years of his marriage, till the end I couldn't forgive the past but I was settled because the MC although he didn't perform the actions he owned up to it and even after his husband forgot about it he always treated him very well.

Spoiler

They have 3 children with the last one still in the womb when the story ends.

The MC's husband writes little snippets of his life and publishes it, the story ends up becoming a huge hit and he inspires a ton of people, there's even a small extra story on one of the woman who left her husband and decided to pursue happiness after reading his story

Our little boazi ends up with the future general, they meet when li ruo is 5-6 and the little general is 10-12 (i forgot the ages)

There's a tiny love triangle which dissolves before boazi even finds out about it between him, the little general and his 5th brother. even though I was rooting for the little geneeral my heart truly ached for the 5th brother (the table of sweets T-T... T-T... T-T... T-T)

Wow.

This is pretty similar in tone with The Wife is First, without all the drama, so if you like it and wanted to read a guy pampering his husband/wife without drama, then this is perfect for you.

Let me start by saying the bad stuffs first:

As someone who studies in the fields of medicine, I cringed so hard when I saw the author write that Baozi (the first child) that wasn't even few months is eating a kind of porridge. I cringed so hard because the MC was a former obstetrician,... more>> meaning he dealt with pregnant women and children daily, so he should know that a children under six months is prohibited to eat solid food because it can stuck in their stomach and boy it is very dangerous. That's why children under six months is only allowed their mother milk, or if you're too poor or like the ML, then other milk like goat milk is allowed.

Other thing that bothered me is that one time the timeline skip is really unclear. Like, in this paragraph it is said that it was the third year, and then the next paragraph, without any line break, was said to be fourth year. Like, wtf is happening. I have to reread it to understand that it was time skip. There are also some time skip that are confusing, but it's probably just because I use MTL.

So that's the bad, now the good:

I really really love the MC in this one. He's the kind of dependable person you can trust and depend on. He loves his wife, know what he wants and pursues it, he's diligent, always timed everything, understand his kids, and always push for the best of his family. He's the kind of father I wish I had tbh, that's how good he is.

The ML is the kind that obedient to his husband even in desperate time for himself, he's always has positive upbringing that even if his husband is bad, he can still raised his sons to be better. It's so in line with the traditional type that I fell for him a bit. He's just like my mother type. Anyway, he grew out of his shell along with MC encouragement and slowly become independent but still obedient to his husband. Meaning he can stand on his own, but choose to stand aside his husband.

Man, I wished I had their relationship.

The plot mostly telling the journey of Li Jin and his family of four/five from the bottom to the top, as someone who wanted to be a scholar and be a revolutionist for his country. And I love it because you won't see too much patriotism which is just in line of my taste.

The side characters are okayish enough. There's not much about them, but then again this is a story of Li Jin and his family from the beginning to the end, so why are you reading it for other side characters? Tbh, it's like reality where friends come and goes as they also have their own life and you yours.

The pacing is not perfect but I still love it as it's very much slice of life and fluff.

The author put the ending in the way of highlighting Li Jin success, so it's all good.

Overall rating is: 4, 7/5

Very good. <<less

I've read a number of story with the exact same starting point, meaning I like this kind of plot.

This one is realistic, the MC doesn't start remembering technologies, marketing strategies, agricultural knowledge,... that normal people know nothing about. That's the good point of this story, you don't roll your eyes every chapters because the MC won't say he'll do something impossible for the time period and surprise everyone with modern knowledge so he can face slap pseudo villains.

MC is down to earth and hard working. ML is pretty and obedient.... more>> Sure ML's character will evolve a little, nothing earth shattering. As always in this kind of plot, the men who can give birth are the lowest of society. Seems like the authors thinking can't shake the mould.

The plot: same old, same old... and I have to say, boring. Everything was ok, but I couldn't finish, because I've already read stories like that so the end didn't matter, didn't interest me.

So, if it's your first transmigration story in ancient time with a male wife, go for it, it's well written and without plot holes. <<less

Love the story. It's sweeet-

The thing that appeals to me the most compared to other novels is the MC's scheduled disciplined life, , like woah.

He's matured, and eventhough there's initial shock, like transmigrating and having a husband + a baby, the story progress and shows affection that grows between MC and ML.

Their interaction gives me a sense of satisfaction haha. Halfway through, it focuses more on the journey to become a scholar.

But still, the family of 4 (otw to 5) is fairly sweet and my heart melts aww-

Enjoyable read. It really focuses on the MC's journey to becoming an official. Instead of zipping through the various exams, we see the MC struggle to make money (by being a part time doctor, foraging for medicine in the mountains, etc.) and studying hard for the various exams. Ending was somewhat abrupt, but it was a good ending if you consider this novel to be a chronicle of MC's journal to achieving officialdom rather than just living in Ancient China.

I honestly love this novel, I quite hate how some parts of the Translation is hard to understand. Especially MTL, I dunno how you lot read it from there but I just inserted the Chinese name of the novel and used m. shubaow. net, and translated it in English with google. It was much more readable than MTL. AND, it got all the chapters so do what I did.

This is just my review of the novel, if you don’t want a spoiler, don’t tap. I will talk about some chapters... more>> and stuff, and how I felt.

Spoiler

Anyway, I JUST LOVE ALL THE CHARACTERS. EVERYONES GOT A CHARACTER. Everyone feels alive.

Honestly tho, MC is the best, so is the ML. Baby Baozi is also such a sweetheart. I just love seeing the comparison in body after MC decides to get fit. They have such a healthy relationship, I hope no one ever ruins it! 😭 please why are they so cuteeee?!?!! Like seriously.

Currently on chapter 78, basically ML woke up early needed the toilet. And saw MC’s arm compared to his arm. And he saw the difference in physique and body, I DONT KNOW WHY I FOUND IT SO CUTEEEE! ML is just too cuteeeeee, they are a perfect match. Perfect for eachother. I love how MC has the must provide for family mentality. It just warms my heart seeing him treat ML so well.

I love how MC is so humble and sweet. I need a man like this 😭😭

ML’s cooking skills... mate if I had such skills for cooking, I would have been obese. WHY DOES THE FOOD HE MAKES SOUND DELICIOUS?!?

Little buns so cute man, feel like squishing his chubby cheeks!

Bro the amount of times I forgot who the characters were and was like who the f*ck is that?! At this point it must be memory issues.

Currently at 95, WHY IS LITTLE BUN SO CUTE I SWGRSUGDIE, I WANNA GIVE HIM A MASSIVE HUG! SUCH A SWEETHEART. UGH THIS WHOLE FAMILIES SO CUTE! I obviously love Zhou Xiujie and Chen Xiran.

STOP IT! OMG GWYAGAH I WANT THESE TABLOIDS! I WANT TO READ THEM EVERYDAY, WHY IS THIS SO CUTE???!?!

YOU GOTTA READ THIS MATE! GO READ THIS RN AND DO WHAT I TOLD YOU TO DO TO GET UNDERSTANDABLE TRANSLATION ABOVE.

Chen Xiran is actually adorable. He’s 100% a true friend, he don’t get jealous of MC’s Achievements and is always happy for him. WE NEED TO FIND A GOOD WIFE FOR HIM!

Currently at 119, really making me want a kid now. I WANT A KID LIKE THEM! 😭

I need a relationship like MC and ML, the way ML still blushes at the sight of MC’s body 🤭, THIS IS SO CUTE! I NEED A HUSBAND LIKE MC

Shanbaoi’s little death stare at the whopping age of 6 months at his older brother’s potential future husband is hilarious 😂😂

OMGGGG I SHIP WAN YUN WITH MO XIULIN 🤭🤭, THEY DRANK FROM THE SAME CUP, WAN YUN GOT FLUSTERED AND WALKED AWAY 🤭

Turns out Wan Yun didnt get married because of Mo Xiulin 🤭🤭🤭

If I ever had to these type of exams, I’d never pass. 😭, these exams are so complicated

Currently on 139, I DONT WANT IT TO END T~T. LOVE THIS NOVEL!

THE ENDING WAS PERFECT! This was ultimately one of my top 3 favourite novels ever. Although, the translation is a bit you know, if its fully well translated, I would have no complains. I absolutely love this novel.

Overall, if you want angst, you ain’t getting it from here. If you want fluff and dog food, read it right now. Honestly, one of the best, I mean it, the best novels I’ve read so far. I would recommend you read it. Just from my reaction above to some of the chapters, shows you gotta read it. So read it. Don’t hesitate. Just read it man.

But yeh, a great read, other than some bits of the translation being incomprehensible. It’s honestly so cute and the MC and ML are the best. Just love the whole family. You’ll end up loving all the characters. Very relaxing to read. Doesn’t get you bored often like other novels.

[collapse]

And yes, I feel this MC and ML are two of the best characters I’ve ever come across. And yes, you should read it. <<less

this is a smooth-sailing story, with HE of course. there's balance between pro and con here

what I like:

    • MC didn't choose his previous life career track. it's quite refreshing and also reasonable enough. Modern medicine is too advanced and different and his knowledge of ancient medicine is limited to few courses in his college days with average score. it's too difficult to assimilate, almost the same as start over, hence he start over a new one. and there's patriarchy and exclusivity view. MC is obstetrician and if he choose that as career it'll be difficult to be one if you can't hands on site due to ancient view of "female and get is exclusive to male". he has to change that but that is quite controversial to change in ancient times. so if you want one that stay in medicine, Song Qinghan will be good for you (I forget the title though-_-)
    • MC-ML dynamics is truly enviable. it's perfect peaceful harmony relationship. the romance is soft and sweet, their language of love is care and equality
    • as MC comes from world of equality, he tried to makes ML not inferior and being in equal standing with him. it makes the family more harmonious and ML's talents shine. though it's not much since I think ML is more family oriented than career oriented
    • the society description. though it's too peaceful and not much trouble
what I dislike and confused:

    • CENSORSHIP and lack of direct physical romance, as in daily flirt maybe? damn you Chinese censorship....
    • why he takes hospital exam if he choose not to be a doctor?? and there's not follow up about that
    • MC career and ambition. Its not clear enough why he pursue imperial exam. the only reason I can think is to clear ML's family name. and why math and ship building? with his math skill, he can be businessman or anything, so why he obsess over ship building to the point he choose it as his career? there's no clear reason to it that makes me confused. the reason is probably...
    • author seems forget to set a purpose of this story. that's why when MC is on the top, the story seems to be in stalemate and feels anticlimactic and not satisfy me enough. it was seen in the...
    • ending and extra. I've said that the ending is stalemate. so the most dissatisfaction is the extra. not much story about the kids. why put so much focus about the kids if you don't talk about it?? moreover the kid's character are interesting, and there's many point that can be brought up, so why not expand it??? tell us about how the kids grow up with modern parenting and how it is different outside their family. look at Masashi Kishimoto and his Boruto, it can become success right?? and the last extra is just pure ??? for me. why is it suddenly talking about the future generation that is completely disconnect with the novel...???
I'm conflicted to give this 4 or 3 or lower, maybe 4 for the feel good, but since it's not that annoying and not crazy illogically, 3.5.

Honestly just a very sweet slice of life with a transmigrated man who takes his new life in a stride and treats his new husband Right. There has never been a better husband than Li Jin and we all strive to one day find a man that will treat us as kindly as Li Jin. The baby is pretty cute too.

I gotta say, this novel deserves a review from someone like me who is a silent reader. First off, I gotta agree to a previous review that the title really doesn't give justice to most of the part of the story lmao

Spoiler

Basically the farming was only depicted when he had just transmigrated and has limited money. The other part was near the end of the main text where the author occasionally write about Li Jin when he cane back to the village and was returning from watering the crops or something. This novel should really be named as 'Li Jin's Daily Scholar Life' instead as some reviews had said lol
Anyway if you like to wind down and read a slice of life, fluffy story with cute children then I recommend this one. I mtl-ed all the way to the extras haha and a reminder if you are planning to read this, although the novel is readable mtl some terms may be confusing sometimes especially certain titles or examination criteria etc. Which can be confusing sometimes

[collapse]

But other than specific terms, you can still enjoy reading this like I did. I just wish there's more extra •_•

I'm begging for someone to translate this tho. Based on what I read on one of the author's note they wrote a *cough* river crabs-free scene away from jjwxc's censorship ehehe so I'll patiently wait for some kind soul that will translate this in the future _ (´ཀ`」 ∠) _ <<less

This novel remind me of "Transmigration of Mian [Reluctantly] Becomes His Man [Wife]"

This is a Story about Life, Love and Trust....

Development from zero to hero....

Stories that will make you question whether you will find someone who loves you and appreciates you the way Li jin appreciates Qin muwen....

Personally I missed supporting character like Lizhuzi, Chenxiran, etc.. that slowly disappears in MC life,

but I understand that Life happens, people grow, have different kinds of obligations and responsibilities....

First off, I've never been more thankful about how exams are being done these days after knowing how Li Jin and the ancients did it. I really enjoyed the perseverance and academic progress of the characters, especially Li Jin.

Props to our great Xueba (Li Jin) who, <unlike the usual ancient transmigration trope Mary Sues where they go off and belittle the ancients with their old ways as if they are idiots> Li Jin integrated and enculturated himself with the era. I love this Xueba so much because of his moral... more>> compass and pragmatic approach to life. Because of this, Li Jin is a rare favorite Seme Protagonist of mine. ≪3

I MTL-ed after reading all the translated chaps because I can't help but read on. Thank you very much Hanuchu-san. <<less

This novel needs a higher rating! It's seriously really good and the MC is such a green flag seme. The MC and ML romance was also slow at the beginning but it makes it more natural. I do wish there was more extra chapter of their Ger son story. Overall, I think out of all the ger and transmigrated stories this has a refreshing plot that is somewhat different.
