On the whole, this was a pretty easy, entertaining read. And although the story was more complicated than it may intimately seem, it did have a very “hero rides off into the sunset”, perfectly tied up ending. The MC is likeable and while the ML is kind of yandere, I liked that it mostly didn’t fall into some of the more common and annoying tropes that you see in similar story lines.

Fluffy high school romance with a little events, focus on romance than other thing, actually in my opinion this novel doesn't look much into the dark side of the plot pretty optimistic plot, or we can say it was written from optimistic view, and doesn't have much with negative emotions, so we can say this novel is a sweet teenager's love novel with not much of the dark side of the world.

I was not expecting to love this as much as I did.

I laughed like a lunatic in so many parts. I love the MC so so much and the ML too. I loved the development and the pacing. Such a perfectly enjoyable novel that I ended up bingeing in just one day. One of the very few with an utterly satisfying ending despite the ridiculous premise and events lol

I didn't think anything of the summary but the tags were what pulled me in.

Its a fun light and pretty cute novel. Might finish another time since things got pretty slice of life heavy at this point, which isn't my style but MC and ML interactions were still fun, so they might tempt me back.

Overall, silly and enjoyable. Some interesting transmigration stuff and a little drama.

Worth reading if you're looking for something that isn't too serious. It's a quick read and the translation is good. Certain parts of the book were a little boring to me, but the protagonist is goofy while still being intelligent. There are some fun side characters and cute dog stuff too.

There is a little bit of content that might need a small warning. There's a physically abusive father in the world the main character transmigrates into and a slightly yandere male lead (I honestly don't think he's bad at all on the scale of yandere characters lol). There are also mentions of animal injury/abuse to the ML's husky self. The overall novel is quite sweet and I don't think any of these elements are too extreme or take up too much of the novel, but watch out if you know any of this is going to be uncomfortable for you! <<less

I love the MC, he's shameless, funny, and a quirky. I love, love, LOVE the ml. One of my favourite mls in a novel. He's yandere but also doesn't quite give off the usual yandere vibes that you see in other novels. I do think he could have been a bit crazier, he seemed to calm down in the later chapters.

I was a bit disappointed with the kidnap scene that he fake stabbed himself. I genuinely would have found it logical if he actually stabbed himself after he dislocated his own ankle earlier in the novel. A big part of me wishes that he had stabbed himself...

It is a bit of a slow romance in the beginning, up until the ML returns to his human body, but I think the personalities of the MC and ML were enough to tide me by until the romance kicked in.

I also enjoyed the jade pendant plot. It was nice that it didn't detract from the romance plot and the build up to it was good.

The translation is good too! I did find it somewhat frustrating that the translator would take sentences and... dumb them down? But I get that that is a personal preference and doesn't detract all that much from the novel - personally I would have preferred the original direct translation I the text with the footnote being the simpler version rather than the other way around. Still, I enjoyed it and thank the translator for a great quality translation!

All I’ve got to say is that this story deserves all of its praise. First of all, the translation was clean and easy to read. Secondly the story was a perfect blend of comedy and seriousness. The pace of this novel is fast, and it is also short, which makes it easier to read. The dynamic of this novel is a bit confusing; some arcs are really intense, then they are followed by reckless, funny chapters, and when you think what? Was that all? Some unexpected drama happens.

This was such a nice read! I wholeheartedly recommend this story! The translation was very good, the story was fun to read and the characters were awesome. I especially enjoyed the humor and laughed out loud quite a few times thanks to the jokes, comments and comedic relief! Also the ML is such a good type of ML!

zhou li is one of my top favorite mcs. I love how his schemes and reasoning seems so far-fetched and tinfoil-y to the people around him, but he somehow still convinces them that it makes sense. Also, he has such a high eq too!!! No obliviousness or denial to the ml’s feelings and I found that really refreshing. ML is a fun type of yandere who is able to keep his possessiveness in check, and I love him for that too. Would recommend for the main cp’s dynamic.

Very cute, pure, and funny! If you like stories where one character is stuck as an animal for a portion of the story then this is for you. The main character was very touching as well, he contributed a lot to the improvement of both his dad's mental health and his younger friends' futures in a way that was very touching. My only complaint is that the ending felt a bit confusing.
