Life, Once Again!

Sometimes, as we go about with our lives, we all happen to think of one specific thought at least once.

What if… I could go back to “that” time?

The funny thing is, the moment you think such a thought is the precise moment when you came back to the past, from the future.

“One more time.”

Life, once again.

A unique slice of life novel with many memorable characters. Though the pace of the novel is a bit slow, I liked it the more I kept going.

Its very good, the characters are incredibly well fleshed out. You can tell that this is for more mature audiences than a lot of other novels, so although it isnt tagged as a Drama, it still will get you emotionally invested.

The plot doesn't really exist, and I don't mean things happen for no reason. Instead, everyone acts so naturally that it feels free and unrestrained. It doesn't matter where the plot is going, because the characters are naturally bringing it there. The only plot point so far is that the... more>> protagonist loves is former wife and is determined from early on to find her once again, even as he forgets her. Everything unfolds naturally from there.

I would rather a story where it goes of in an unpredictable direction then being leashed to a set of events with predictable outcomes. This is very much a character driven story, and I highly recommend it.

The author obviously has a lot of empathy, each character is very fleshed out, and has very relatable struggles <<less

A more realistic approach to the common reincarnation/second chance trope.

The premise of the story is like this: MC was struggling to make ends meet for his wife and daughter. For some reason, he was send back into the past.

What separates this from most other novels of the same kind is that memories of the future (which was the present) are fading. MC can only remember some important details like faces of his wife and daughter. Only when encountering things that happened in the past, then the MC will recall some... more>> things in some form of deja vu.

In the first 60+ chapters, the MC is caught in a dilemma between stability and ambition. Will he strive to create a better life for his family in the future or will he try to find something he wants to do?

Although only 60+ chapters are translated at the moment, I do have very high hopes for this novel just based on these chapters. Im excited to see how the MC grows and develops into an actor. So if you are still hesitating, I would like to ask you to give this a shot. It is a very good slice-of-life with fleshed out characters. <<less

  1. Has a very relaxing start and slowly warms up to the more interesting parts of the plot. The story is getting more and more interesting as I continue to read and I always find myself surprised by how wise the mc's actions and words are. Super relaxing to read with a few good laughs here and there. The plot and thoughts of the MC are very realistic and relatable. I wake up everyday just to read this novel. Each chapter is just as interesting as the last. 100/10
