On the surface it is just another isekai webnovel, with a shallow plot that has been overly (ab) used.

What still makes this one of the best (a least up until I've read it) are two things:

-the MC's personality, which is outright sadistic without any of the "betrayed MC wants revenge" justifications. It is just how he is, and that happens to be the polar opposite of the vast majority of masochistic Japanese men who get bullied and abused by the female characters. Here the male lead does the bullying, without... more>> being a psycho about it.

-the humour. The jokes aren't very sophisticated and include poop-jokes, but I still laughed several times over the first dozen chapters or so. Maybe later I got used to the humour (binged 33 chapters), or the quality declined, but it never completely stops being funny either.

The rest (translation quality, original writing, world building, game elements etc) is just average compared to every other novel, but the two things I pointed out above are enough to make this novel superior.

I can only recommend it, especially if you are tired of the typical "M" beta male leads. <<less

It's still too soon so say anything relevant, but let's try something.

First off, the translation quality is good. Regarding the plot, it has some potential, at least the opening was somewhat different from your usual low-quality isekai, the comedy is ok (not great, mind you), and nothing extremely annoying has happened (yet).

Regardless, I'm giving it a shot. I'll probably update this review when (and if) the translation gets to 20 chapters or so.

... more>> Edit: So, here I am, back after 25 chapters. Tl;dr: I'll still keep my 4 stars rating.

Regarding the story, the comedy definitively got better (still not great) and so did the character interactions. On the other hand, the plot is (for now) bland. If you are up for a light-heart comedy Isekai (think KonoSuba, but slightly different), it is a good choice to give this novel a chance.

Regarding the translation, both the quality and speed of the releases are great (congratulations for the translator, btw).

I'll probably update this review (again) when the novel reaches 60 or so chapters. <<less

A typical summon to another world web novel just like most what you usually read. Though even so, I quite like it a lot. Like how MC treat the goddess (lol). The comedy is good for me, but rather than action web novel, somehow it felt like slice of life at current point (in a good way).

expecting a lot from this story and also good job translator (kuronochan) for releasing one chapter everyday. It's an everyday job for me to read a chapter of this when I wake up in... more>> the morning. <<less

The main character is boringly overpowered, with stats in the thousands when a normal human is in the double digits. The characters are flat and unoriginal, the goddess is a blatant rip of aqua from konosuba, while the rest of the cast are a bundle of cliches. There is no plot as far as I can tell, with the main character just going around and seducing harem members.

There is really nothing to read here as there is no conflict, goal, or dimension in this novel.

The story is good.

Protagonist has a fortuitous encounter and was chosen as the MC summoned to another world by a goddess.

The goddess character is a combination of Aqua (konosuba) and Hestia (DanMachi) with the s*upidness and figure merged.

The translator did a not bad job of changing the format but it's still in the childish format that most translated jap novels have.

This Novel makes fun of any bit of seriousness in the story, just to make sure there is not any resemblance of values or convictions in the story.

Characters are author's self made bromides ; a dumb goddess, cynical and angry MC, a lovely receptionist, a selfish ol Man.. Etc

Tongue and cheek this tries to be, and results in a parody of itself.

... more>> This story is plotless.

A story about a cynical kid, taking the easy way by default and narrated as if the nextdoor medieval fellow and their problems were as important as the tiny bread crumbs that resemble any kind of plan or conviction that MC has.

Dropped because this MC is pretty conventional, it's not worth contemplating. <<less

As of Chapter 10, this is one of the top 10 Isekai web novels that I've read. Of course, there's only 10 chapters translated so there's plenty of room for deterioration, but this story has a great start. I think it should mainly be classified as a comedy, but unlike a lot of other "comedic" Isekai WNs, the comedy doesn't revolve around an idiot MC, or an overdose of boke/tsukkomi or misunderstandings/cringe humor. Most of the humor is creative and original (though the plot itself is as unoriginal as it... more>> gets). The writing style, while not ideal, is top tier as far as WNs go. The story is written in first person perspective, but the storytelling and dialogue flows really well, and isn't broken by the MC/narrator's runaway tangent thoughts like a lot of other WNs written in first person. The translation is quality work as well. <<less

Loving this one so far. I mean we have the MC that I would define as a mellow sad*st and a ditzy goddess that can only be described as a cross between Hestia and Aqua. All in all it's a good story and an interesting read.

"See! Our protagonist is self-motivated... though he doesn't have any long term goals and just blindly follows the plot after the first 20 or so chapters!"

"See! Our protagonist is pe*verted and does s*xual things like grope the girls... though he'll never ever consider s*x even for a moment."

"See! Our protagonist is aware he's OP and doesn't really try to hide his powers... though he never tells anyone about them until he has to fight a stronger enemy."

Every time, they act like they are gonna do things differently, but they never... more>> do. It's not terrible, but it's not worth recommending. It's a fantasy reincarnation harem where the MC and a group of girls he never has s*x with travel the world, eating foods from the real world like hamburgers that the MC recreates, as the super powerful MC kills the bad guys instantly, and occasionally the girls get kidnapped and he rescues them. The harem consists of Aqua from Konosuba, a shy fire mage, a tsundere elf fighter, and Lumachina from Isekai Maou. It's practically copy pastes of the characters but renamed; you've seen it all before.

Honestly, it's so similar to Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo Dorei Majutsu in one part that I want to cry plagiarism. Spoilers, those who've read Isekai Maou you should honestly read this spoiler; you'll see the plot twists coming a mile away anyways because they are literally identical.

Spoiler

A naive holy priestess hunted by her church gets rescued by the MC and they go to a desert village where the member of her religion has started a secret conspiracy to gain power and is abusing the poor, whereupon the priestess and one other harem member gets kidnapped and they have to fight their way through a tower hidden in the sand to fight the bad guy and rescue the harem members. Yeah. It's that blatant.

[collapse]

All in all, 3/5; a 4/5 start leading to a 2/5 routine. <<less

The MC is okay, his ability is OP, but the Goddess is really annoying. I think the Goddess is supposed to be comedic relief or something but just seems really annoying. If you can deal with that, I think everything else is alright. The plot is okay but generic. I personally just couldn't handle the Goddess but everything else was okay.

This just reminds me of Kono Subarashii and slightly Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatte Iru Darou ka, other then the main characters abilities and his level as a pe*vert, although the author feels like he got almost all of his inspiration for this story from kono subarashii but in some cases of the story it feels like he took half a step back so it still feels a little different from subarashii. Overall it's a nice and funny story that I plan to keep reading.

Overrated. And that's me being nice to the author for trying.

I can't stand it when the rest of the characters are made s*upid just to make the MC appear smart.

It's funny and the MC isn't a total wimp. The conversations are artificial and there's no plot to speak of.

The novel is in hiatus, probably because the author has no clue on how to proceed with it.

Overrated novel. Unlike the others I dare write it. Our hero MC is simply overpowered. By chapter 41 his stats is over 20.000 in everything. Shin from "The new gate" would pale in comparison in power but Shin is a better created character. It is just a matter of time before the main character Kehma in this novel becomes a god himself and then what will become of this novels plot? The fight scenes are short, everything dies so fast! While the le*d and pe*vert stuffs and b**b touching are used again and again and again.

So here is the question, is there a story plot? Sigh.... The only thing I could think of is that irregular within irregular monster that actually makes me think it was a programmed software monster. But that would contradict the novel itself because then he would no longer be transferred to another world but sent to the digital world. But anyway if you keep this thought, it might lead to something but until then..... I dare say author has no roadmap for this novel. Everything is written on the get-go. I wouldn't be surprised if more chapters in the future will only be b**b touching and slife of life and introducing more japanese food stuffs. But thats what you get into when you read japanese novels and their community novels! Remember this people!

[collapse]

It is a fun novel to read. I rather enjoyed it. Though some of the stuffs are not that funny to me. Overall the novel is ok. The translation is good. Just some misspelling but not often.

There is little to no seriousness in this novel. Absurdly OP MC who keeps adding girls to his harem who are very dere-dere towards him after being saved in some absurd way.

The reason I like this novel is the fact that it can make me laugh and relax after a long day.

If I had to complain about one thing it has to be the idiotic goddess and the MC's willingness to put up with it because b**bs.

I know it's supposed to be comic relief or something but a person so foolish and with no character development is just too distracting.

That is why it's not getting full marks but otherwise the MC's sadistic nature and comedic situations are quite enjoyable.

If you want a layed back OP MC otherworld story I recommend it.

Like someone said, this novel's goddess is pretty much based on Hestia (from Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatte Iru Darou ka). It feels like the author created this novel specifically to have a MC that actually does pe*verted things to said goddess, lol.

Yes this is just like the other mediocre stories with overpowered MCs, easy life, shallow writing, etc. However I think it's a tad better than those because this has more a comedic, parody feel to it.

Welp, time to give this an actual review.

Grammar: 2.6/5

Writing: 3.2/5

... more>> Story: 2.1/5

The translation quality isn't the best, but it's good enough to read. Frequent cases of unneeded indicators, a few cases of broken syntax, and a sprinkling of typos. It's not enough to make it a headache to read thankfully, but it's enough to halt the word flow infrequently.

The writing itself is pretty nice. It's a casual piece that's by no means perfectly done, frequently told from the first person perspective but giving details in the third person infrequently. The comedy is omnipresent, and the character development for the MC is progressing nicely within the short 16 chapters available thus far.

The story is really nothing new and actually feels like a parody more than an original work. That said the Goddess is definitely a mashup of Hestia's physical appearance (from Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatte Iru Darou ka) and the personality of Aqua (from Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o!).

Overall, something I'm enjoying very much. Looking forward to reading more of this series and hoping that the translation quality will slowly improve as the translator get's used to it.

Wait... so the MC levels up by eating, and the Goddess pretty much can only do things by eating... I hope this doesn't turn into a Gourmet Novel later.

Also, a bit of learning for some peeps: If an animal is stressed or struggles a lot before death the meat will be tougher than the same animal dying instantly. The chemicals released under stress make the meat a bit foul tasting, or as referred to by most people "Gamey". These chemicals are introduced to muscles under the "Flight or Fight" response to boost muscle power. Not the best-tasting thing, nor is it particularly kind to human taste buds. <<less
