Lin Xinghe, who used to be the villain of a Mary Sue novel, received an acceptance letter from the Modern Era Department of the Villain School.

On the first day of school, her deskmate told her-

“Every new villain that comes here thinks that they’re f*cking amazing. At best, Modern villains like us know how to earn money through mu*der and cause trouble for the male and female leads.”

“Whatever you do, don’t provoke the Western Fantasy Department. Before coming here to reform, those big brothers would wipe out half the world with a snap of their fingers.”

“Also, don’t hang out with students from the Ancient Era Department. Those villains are always conspiring to overthrow the throne and become principal.”

“And you absolutely cannot have any fantasies about the Xian Xia Department’s grass, Xie Wuan! That! Guy! Is! A! Big! Pe*vert!” (1)

Soon after.

Lin Xinghe’s deskmate saw the big brother from the Fantasy Department using his fire magic to dry clothes for Lin Xinghe. The big brother from the Ancient Era Department had Lin Xinghe’s cat lying on his shoulder and the grass of the Xian Xia Department was placing vegetables into Lin Xinghe’s bowl.

Lin Xinghe’s deskmate: …

This is so good, kind of unlimited flow but very very unique and without the horror element. I would definitely love to see more novels similar to this. The description is misleading, It doesn't focus on her relationship with those male classmates that much. The main focus is definitely MC completing exams, uncovering more secrets and gaining popularity (that doesn't mean reverse harem, just overall she gains respect of others). She's basically a god of luck with her own sense of morality. She's not a good person but also not... more>> a bad person. I look forward to finding out who she really is. Btw the tone of this story so far is quite light compared to what I've seen from the genre, a pleasant read. No need to worry about reading sth that will hunt you for a very long time. <<less

The book is great. Though the clean translations for it stopped after a few chapters, I read a mtl because I was just too interested!! I have no idea about those people saying that the story got boring or that it didn't match the actual plot of the story. I binged it in two days!

I think the premise of the misleading summary was exactly to mislead the readers into expecting a silly sweet romance of a typical Mary Sue heroine. It's when you continue that you realize it's not luck... more>> at all, but overwhelming power of our MC!

Unfortunately the mtl version for the latter half of the book didn't allow me to comment, so I came to the reviews hoping to find some likeminded people who had the same ideas I had.

Instead, just read the book! There's no harem-esque theme despite the constant CP pushing of the side characters in the book, and despite the lack of constant romance between the MC and the male protagonist, the little moments are just so fluffy and cute and worth it!!

Spoiler

RIP to our little refrigerator tho : (Our poor little Xiaopu! His little TV screen at the end where he could only gaze fondly at our MC made me so sad.
