Both the ML and FL filled up their loneliness with each other. They support each other; though there are some shortcomings. The friendship between FL and Wen Sisi is hate-love relationship; their interaction are tom and jerry. Good nice and nice story.

2 1/2 ⭐️ I didn’t enjoy it enough to bump it to 3.

So the book was kinda boring I’m not gonna lie. The idea was interesting but the ML had low EQ and MC slowly but surely became more brain dead as the book went on. I was about 30 chapters away from finishing it and I decided it wasn’t really enjoyable. The family had low IQ and it made wonder how the heck they were able to get away with some of the stuff. And when there were characters... more>> who pointed out they were walking to their doom, they laughed it off and kept running. But no seriously if ML’s dad was forced to marry his mom, where was that family when the poor kid was starving.

I thought MC had an interesting personality. She can be a bit sassy and sharp tongued, but she doesn’t think ahead despite her initial plans. Or rather she can’t commit if it’s not the ML. She was worried about money and not dying but the she falls for his pretty face, so she loses sight of her goal and becomes unreasonable. So it makes some of her steps for independence not have meaning. Like remembering her old family when her new family is crap, her only friends are the servants he hired and the original goods rival or getting a job translating to being a Housewife who’s life revolves around her husband, he has her so isolated. ML is cold and controlling which is typical for these types but he has his cute moments like showing off her gifts to him or face slapping the people who humiliated her. ML’s way of showing care feels like it leans much more into the father taking care of his baby darling rather than lovers, despite all his romance studying. But hey with the way her IQ seemed to be going down the drain, it may as well have. He acts like they’re a sincere couple, she is under the impression that it’s one sided and why is he planning a future with her. Like girl face the music everyone knows you’ll be together why you still acting foolish, just talk to each other. And yet I felt no satisfaction when things came together.

I think her rival Wen Sisi is the only character I didn’t have a problem with, a spoiled little miss yet was willing to let go of the hate and become her best friend. She was nice but still bratty, it was cute.

Squick moment but her Ex fiancé gets non-coned by his girlfriend because she was afraid of losing him back to MC. It was a quick fade to black, but it was kinda gross considering he was recovering from alcohol poisoning and mistakenly thought she was MC. I don’t think she was pregnant but she did try to use her Lira to her advantage

Read the novel in 2 days.

It's 2 days of pure torture.

The characters the not well written. The novel plot and story outline are really common (the type I dislike)

... more>> 1. I have no problem with handsome ML and beautiful FL. But is it really necessary to describe their beauty in almost every chapter?

2. Everyone except the ML and FL are s*upid. I really don't understand how these characters lacking in IQ can become a rich and prominent family. Sometimes I feel they become rich so that the ML can bankrupt them and look cool in front of the FL.

3. The FL kept claiming that she was strong and capable of living independently. But in the whole book I only see her relying on the ML and flaunting her wealth in front of everyone.

I like independent FL. I can tolerate weak FL.

But a dependent FL pretending to be strong while relying on ML in every possible way really annoys me to death.

Overall, don't recommend this story <<less

it was light and fluffy. Loved it. Can be cliche but it's execution was good.

it has the element of typical domineering ceo as the ML was stoic to others while sweet to his lover, wants to monopolize the FL which can be found in cnovels but this time, both are aware of this issue. And it was addressed. And tbh it was reasonable as well.

he didn't understand why she wanted space and while he agreed to her, he was thinking differently. And that was good, because people don't really bend that easily. And he was scared to lose her so he got that protective. It took a lot before he actually agreed.

As for the FL, she's not overly powered, genuine and she really is the sun of the ML. Loved how once she discovered her feelings,

SO SO BEAUTIFUL~~

Wen Yu and Chi Zhengzheng were so in love and their story so heartwarming that it makes us reluctant to let go, yet at the same time very satisfied as they enjoyed life to the fullest.

The setting of the story is neither grand nor unique but the characters are what makes it special.

... more>> Our sweet couple's interactions throughout the story, their steps into falling in love, and their love after falling just gets your heart beating fast that it is so precious.

Definitely recommended if you want to read an unconditional love story. <<less

It's ABSOLUTELY PERFECT NOVEL TO THE END!!!

Endure the first 10 chapters....
Sure MC and ML are NOT Pushover. And the DO Talk back, Daring and Shock people. But their So Called Family are SO DAMN FRUSTRATING AND I JUST WANT TO EXPLODE!!! DIE DIE GO DIE EVERYONE!!! DAMMIT!!! (it's temporary anger)

ML is Domineering. But towards MC, his Domineering mostly in Oozing his Handsome Pheromone and make her feel weak and seduced. Lol. But when he fell for her, he becoming Clingy and Adorkable AF!!!

Our MC is Truly Amazing!!! She's Ordinary Woman in a way where she doesn't have 'Special Skill' or Golden Finger. But she's Brave and have a Good heart. She's no Pushover. Yes, she's Truly Beautiful. But her personality what make people realise her Charm. She just act the way she is without faking things or overdoing thing.

This Novel is truly Precious!!! Especially on the part where our MC gave a Very Cute Unexpected Surprise to ML!!! It was Super Rare seeing this kind of Surprise played by a Female.

And then she surprised ML again in the final main story. She's Truly Awesome!!!

Btw, Just literally yesterday I read Another BG with Transmigration MC and she have a Comatose moment that break ML's Heart. What is this Weird Coincidence the next novel I read also a BG with Transmigration MC that also have Comatose scene and BREAK ML's Heart too!!! WTF!!! This Novel break my heart more than the other novel though. I'm LITERALLY BAWLING!!!

Okay, anyway the Author Delivers the Story Smoothly and Emotionally. It was Emotional but it was Truly Very Good!!!

How the Villains or Villains Canon Fodder played and ended. It was Very Well Written. I'm Enjoying it!

Anyway I'm Truly In Love with this Novel and Absolutely LOVING IT!!! FOREVER WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL FOR THE ETERNITY AND BEYOND!!!

A very heartwarming/wholesome story. Maybe I've just read too many 1-star tr*sh lately, but this was actually better than I expected from the ratings.

The main character carried the show for me. She did just enough and was not excessive. Stood up for herself and treated other people with open mind, but was neither a wilting flower nor a doormat.

The cannon-fodder villains were very singleminded and annoying and cannon-fodderly. But maybe due to the translation or the OG author's writing, or my mindset of skimming a hella lot, they didn't get... more>> too annoying.

There were lots of parts that I happily skimmed or skipped. I'm not a huge fan of stories that go on and on with abusive language just so reader can hate the villain (s) more, so I probably skimmed or skipped all those parts. The author could have definitely benefited from some editing.

So with mental editing, the heartwarming parts and relationship parts ended up being pretty cute and wholesome. ML is a yandere-in-the-making but glad that he ended up having to own up to that part of himself and nip it in the bud before it got out-of-control.

To be honest, I didnt have many expectations from the start, which is why I wasn't totally dissapointed in this novel with an cliche plot.

The plot is cliche and anticlimatic, but at least it serves it's meaning plus purpose, and the climax is decent.

There's a lot of sugar and fluff in this novel, that is overbearing at times, this genre is called: Excessive Romance (by me).

While it was a decent read, it was tiring reading chapters with sequences of filler, but I still managed to read only till the... more>> end, not the extras.

Overall, I would only recommend to read this novel, when you really wanna kill time. <<less

This is a sweet story full of fluff.

Nothing is "genre making". Everything here is kind of cliche for these kind of novels; MC girl is nice sweet and at times pretty slow to make the scene funny or flow good. Pretty standard. ML is cold, distant, and desperately needing a touch of color, some warmth in his life. Of course he is incredibly smart, rich and powerful. Pretty standard also.

Side characters are written good but nothing to write home about. They are 2 dimensional and usually (for the villains anyways)... more>> pretty s*upid to try the same methods to throw dirt on the power couple even tho those methods failed on all previous tries. Standard.

I rated this high for 2 reasons. First is because it was written in a good, concise way and tells us a nice romantic story. Second if because of ML. Usually MLs in these chinese novels are too domineering, too controlling, and act as if the MC is a fragile china doll, to be protected all the time, does everything for ML as if she were an invalid. I really hate that and in this novel ML starts the same way but then ML learns to give her space, and support instead of steamrolling and controlling her whole life.

I dropped 1 star because I really don't understand or like the chinese authors depict love between couples. Why do they think it means someone loves their partner a lot when they are envious of their children and the time children and mother spends together. Why do they think it is normal to sort and grade love; that it only means real love if the man loves mother more than their children. <<less

A sweet story of how a girl who wants to survive.

Some of things I liked about the story :

  • The male lead is cold but not heartless and rude. He has almost never behaved in a senseless way
  • The female lead is sweet and smart but not overly stubborn. She is afraid of the male lead at the start because she is worried that she might come in the way of his revenge. Once that fear is over, she is pretty much normal
  • The female lead heals the male lead with her naturally warm nature but doesn't make it her life to heal the male lead
  • The supporting characters are very cute
What I don't like

  • The female lead had a career plan for which she worked very hard that she eventually abandons for no good reason

    When the female lead is about to die, the male lead is also prepared to die. I understand the context and agree that it would have been difficult for the male lead to go on but I wish they hadn't made it out as su*cide

It's a sweet fluff story, don't expect a grand twist. However it is one of the better stories in this type.

I would give 2 stars but u dont want to lower the ratings. FL is ok in the beginning but then she bacomes annoying. But I guess people in oove have a lower IQ, no? The family is meh. If they could choose to kill their daughter or to have cripple their son a leg, they would choose to fl. The villains are dumb af. The plot is boring. Actually, I would rather read the book about the ML and his revenge and not this shitty novel.

i like it so far, uh idk how to change it but my rate is actually around 4.5 stars

i love dog blood dramas so this is right up my alley lol

anyway I see that some people don’t like how dependent she is with the ML and how everything is taken care of by ML. Personally, I don’t mind it. Like other reviews said, MC was just an ordinary person in her og life and it’s actually kinda fresh to see a not overly genius MC and sometimes I can relate... more>> to her so it was kinda nice. Also even if it’s like that, MC still stand her ground whenever she’s wronged she doesn’t stay silent and stand up to herself and she will also immediately defend ML if someone looked down on him.

i love the revenge story I can’t wait to read wen family downfall after the wedding but what has taken my 0, 5 percent of the rate is actually the dog food/lovey dovey scenes from MC and ML lmao it’s cute I guess but it doesn’t hold my attention at all like I would skip and scroll down over their scenes just to get it over with and move on to the next scene <<less

It was an alright read. The MC kind of annoyed me at times, but she's alright. I love the ML though. The ending was so predictable and I wished the author would not have went that route like every other novel.

Okayy. 3.7 rounded to 4, I think this is okay. Even tho the villains was 1D, but— It's okay. Lol I got impetient the other day when reading this, so now I got the mood to reread. MC, dk kinda forgot her personality but I like her calmness tho. And I like how she didn't forgave ori!body Family because she felt she didn't deserve to, the ori!body who experience those awful thing not her. Not like that novel who the MC forgave the family even tho it's not her right lol, I find it disgusting.

ML, well what could I say? Purrfect lile your typical male lead. Full of love and rich. Ori!body Family is a betch. Still hoping them to know that their daughter is gone forever so I get... more>> satisfied ending for them. My satisfaction for their ending is 1/5 bc it's happy end (for them)

Villains, never ever know this will be satisfying. I like how they all ends. Unlike many novels that only mention they're going to prison, or they got what they deserve. My satisfaction their ending = 4/5 <<less
