Quite entertaining at first but it became too focused on romance. The problem with that is you rarely read a really good romance, especially in web novels. Now, in this case, The number 1 beauty fell in love with this poor guy (MC). This is a normal scenario but everything after that changes. The character becomes s*upid like in every novel when it comes to romance.

The MC who is now taken and has a girlfriend still flirting with this Li sister. Saying it as flirting is underestimating it. Since that... more>> girl also sleeps and the MC hugging that girl. The logic of MC 'cheating' means the girl (GF) is not satisfying him enough so it's the GF's fault. I will be much better if they are not official.

Not only that, this one suffers the same fate of being a 'low profile' troupe. There's one scenario where he was accused of stealing something since he bought a necklace that cost 19million. He lied about the price first saying it's 1900 while exposing her to danger. Imagine wearing a 19million necklaces for everyday life like going to school or something. The usual urban genre flexing its wealth and power is much better than this one. The MC can't even pamper his GF. If you have nothing to read like me, read this. But if you have other stacked then read that.

This may not be the best novel but light drama and a good balance which is why this story is a better alternative. The alternative version may be a story that is more of wishful thinking but for those of you who are tired of the thrilling action of cultivated novels then this might suit you with relative tension. But still fun reading it

ps. I want the translation to be replaced by people who post more regularly (sorry translation-san your work is not good, actually your job is very good... more>> but we want the translator with regular releases because we are very impatient to release the chapter because reading the diraw ​​makes me burn every brain cell in my head accept translator-san) <<less

Very fun to read and goes at great pace. The personalities of the characters are nice, and the powers have yet to truly break the world. I like how he actually took the time to enjoy his powers for himself before low key (?) showing it off. Plus, he’s confident, not c*cky, so I don't feel like he's looking down on people either.

I dont usually write reviews but when I see a great series paired with a consistent and frequent translator I have to show my appreciation.

This story isnt your typical cringe worthy wish fulfillment, there are actual rules to his powers and the way he uses them makes sense. The translator also provides context for alot of the references as well as links to outside sources which is something I enjoy and brings the translation to the next level.

The MC also doesnt show off and say how cool he is to... more>> other peoples face or acts like an edgelord to the people he meets face to face, which is already enough to put this on my reading list to begin with. The romance also fits well and doesnt seem too forced.

All in all its a great story, with a great translator, that will eventually blow up, so might as well start reading and say you were here early. <<less

I absolutely love this novel. The MC is likable, the plot is good, the characters are not one dimensional. I recommend that you give this novel a try.

I didn't think much when I see this novel before, but once I read it I just can't stop.

MC got OP and life is getting easier for him. So far there's nothing major going on, but it is a nice read. I think the story will continue to be a slice of life while MC keeps getting new abilities. The translator is doing a really great job too, the translation is really smooth and the updates are fast.

Loving it so far, fresh novel, translator doing a pretty good job, and a good binging story. Too bad they just started translating now but Yang Wenli has been translating at a pretty stable rate.

It's quite good actually, the only problem is the translation

MC's power is still not understood yet. He tries to find the activation condition, but can't find one and gives up.

Despite the MC being a guy, most of the villain in this novel is a girl. And the villain isn't s*upid, it's just that the MC power is bullshet

... more>> MC is kinda a jerk tho. Wanting a pure woman but he plays around and for money he helped one wife cheat

despite that, it's still enjoyable because its not the usual chinese face slapping festival <<less

I think this is a great urban novel. The first part o the novel is mainly slice of life + urban, where the plots unfolds quite easy-going and enjoyable. About chapter 150 or 200 or so (I don't remember the specific chapter), the plot unfolds unexpectedly

The world setting is not just a normal urban world. There are some fantasy elements like vampires, werewolves and ghosts,... And the MC is thrown into this whirlpool somehow. Then he embarks on the road of eradicating them. I must say that the way the author write this part is brilliant. The MC start the investigation by himself alone after some chance encounters, he slowly realize the truth of this world. It is not the kind of "meeting some people with super abilities and then everything is laid out for him. Of course, even these fantasy elements circles around China. But the way the MC delivers the story does not make it too annoyingly nationalistic.

And one more thing, almost every abilities of MC are used effectively, not just 1 or 2 chapters like some readers say (with the exception of the basketball techniques).

In fact, the basketball is accompied by enhanced physics to the limit of human-being so actually every abilities are used throughout the series though. Especially the deadpool and hacking abilities, they prove to be unbelievably beneficial in his way to eliminating the vampires, werewolves and ghosts. As they are pseudo-immortal creature, self-healing of deadpool help him fight them recklessly to achieve the win. Also, to eradicate all of them together, the MC use the hacking to enable miscibles rockets.

So evidently, comments about the author giving the MC useless abilites are totally non-sensical. It just a fore-shadow for the following plot. Some people might find this fantasy part boring and s*upid. That's my first impression as well. But as the plot and the mystery unfolds, I am totally HOOKED.

His hacking skill werent even useful because he did not even trying to use it. He did not get information when someone wanted to kidnapped him. The author just destroyed a good f#cking work!

I always hate the MC pretending to be weak. Its not right for me. The healing, fighting, and strong body skills are not used greatly.

All I can say that its a waste for a good novel. He becomes your typical chinese playboy. He didn't even care of whats going around his surroundings.

Already 5 stars in my book because that is no nationalism bullsh*t in the novel. But I can only give 3 stars because it has NO actual development in terms of characters. Plot generally goes smoothly

MC even threatens that he would change American citizenship (of course, he didn't change that and the government fulfilled his request) and he is f*cking calm and smart.

The weak point of this novel is that is no actual development between characters. Mostly, novel is focused on SOL and the others would definitely feel... more>> boring from the plot.

I love the part that MC is the only one who has the abilities as far as the chapters went.

Except that this novel has almost no weakness. Very rare story from the Chinese authors. <<less

It's a fun read nothing too serious so far, no definite ending mentioned. A fun daily life of a super human having deadpool's ability and some other abilities. It's a good read for someone who has nothing else to read and wants to read something fluffy and nothing too serious.

This novel is just fun to read. Although it isn't superb and there isn't any profound meanings behind it, it stands apart from all of the other wish fulfillment face-slapping cliches of typical CN novels and feels so much more grounded. The relationship growth felt natural, his utilization of powers was interesting, and it doesn't seem to be dropping in quality, at least not yet. The overall tone is lighthearted. It may not be extremely fluffy but it's still an incredibly enjoyable read.

Good novel, interesting premise, good MC, funny, good pace, good translation, high potential plot.
The power of the MC gives the author a large possibility in terms of plot. I am waiting for a backfire situation.
The ability strike the MC so random that everytime there is some sort of description, you start wondering if he will be affected.

Godly praise to the translator, top notch translation, enjoyable to read.

As for the story, very humorous with enough action to keep you entertained.

The MC is of decent character, so you can read this with peace of mind (unless you are very serious).

What is left to write? I wish author would add some more details to the visual aspect of his characters; but this is a small blemish only.

Don't look any further. The other reviews are absolutely right. Light-hearted, simple and wholesome. I have not even passed 100 chapter mark but I can tell you this perhaps might be one of the most enjoyable series I have read in a while. Don't really have anything much to say about it because it's still early. But yeah, the MC has a personality. The girls are likable. It also had its comedy bits.

My first CN novel read, and it's pretty different but a great one. Laid back and funny, not necessarily heartwarming but it lightens your mood. Definitely worth your time if you're bored.
