Between 3 to 5 stars, depending on what you are looking for.

5 stars for fluff and cuteness.

4 stars for a slice of life with family. And maybe the revenge part.

This novel seems to be only part of a connected trilogy but is kind of closed in itself. This novel tells the story of the transmigrated Lin Luoqing that went into marriage and "fatherhood" with false intentions but created the most loving family possible. The children will not be grown-ups in this novel. At most around age 9 and there is no "relationship vibe".

According to the writer and translator there is a sequel which tells the story of the kids getting together and their relationship.

There is also a hint to a infinite flow novel in which Ji Leyus Parents will get returned to the time line. (Maybe it's one novel but I understood it as two).

So why did I rate this novel so low? Because it kind of got boring. A lot of the interaction is the kids being silent in their room reading, getting ready for bed, bed, getting up and eating. Somehow I felt like the actual life was missing.

The children were set up in a special way with their unusual characters, which was interesting and kind of cute but just lacked logic some times. It was like watching small dog blood adults. Unfortunately there was no real character progress... the time of this novel spanned 3 years but the kids never really changed. In the readers impressions they kind of stay 5 and 6 years old.

The story itself is not bad. It was a bit too repetitive and got long. I felt like the highlights were not bright enough. Not sure how to explain. There were some dog blood and revenge storylines inserted but they didn't end with a grand "bang and fireworks" but more like a cheap wholesale fireworks package for children from the convenience store.

So I was a bit disappointed.

Would I recommend to read this novel? Well it still depends on what you are looking for. While I was looking for something else, I do not really feel like it was wasted time. I kind of would be interested in the infinite flow story connected to this and the character were likable. <<less

Okey, I completed this. I finally completed this!!

And the last two extras? UNNECESSARY!

I almost broke my hand after reading chapter 343 out of shock. Just give me five more chapter of them being brother again and I am promise with my life I won't ask anything again.

At first I don't really like novel more than 200 chapters. But after reading comment that this is 90% about child rearing, I give it a try.

AND I LOVE IT.

60% of the chapter I laugh out loud and embarrassed myself tho I think it's worth it.

All of them are just so precious!

I kinda hope there are a side couple, as this is quite have a long chapters, but this wholly only have main couple become dads. Yeah daddy!

Personality wise? All of them are good people with great characteristics. Individually they are awesome, but as a family they are perfect. Chef's kiss 😘😘

Doesn't have really too dramatic plot or so except for the 100 hundred early chapters about ML's family. MC's family getting well done. Good job 👍

My speech still a lil bit incoherent as my hand still hurt for banging it on to the wooden table. I am not even sure what I talk about in this review.

Over all, this is fluffy, sweet, comedy, heartwarming, family, explicit, and not satisfying.

I teared up everytime reading about feifei bcs hes a really lovely kid and I feel sad reading the extras abt feiyu but im glad they meet each other after that. Im not really into MC and ML romance as im more here for the kids 🤣 but im tearing up at the thought of the ML died not meetinng the MC and yuyu suffering and feifei not having his own flowerpot. THANK GOD FOR THE MC TRANSMIGRATING BUT STILL THE PARALLEL WORD UGHH

I loved this Novel so so much!!! It was so funny and has many deep and touching parts. I am amazed at the author's thought process about children and how much care and detail has been given to it. Absolutely loved reading it! Ihave read it more than once, and finally decided I need to definitely leave a review. This novel is absolutely worth re-reading!!!

Also, I really love Qing Qing, Ji Yuxiao, Fei Fei and Xiao Yu. Hope to see Xiao Yu & Fei Fei in their sequel and wishing... more>> that it also gets uploaded and translated soon!! (Wish someone would also pick that up🥹)

This novel is super cute, filled with fluff and love and cub raising... but it's too long. The premise of the novel is becoming the villains dad, which MC does very early in the novel and honestly, I feel like the villain has turned good pretty much right after that. Ji Leyu gets two dads and a big brother that indulges him all the time. There's literally no conflicts at all between the 4 family members, instead the conflicts are with their extended family members and the... more>> reason for both is related to money, inheritance and a son from a mistress.

It also feels like the author did all they could to drag the novel as long as possible? Transmigration plot, cub raising plot, rich CEO plot, revenge plot, minor face slapping, entertainment circle, livestream barrage writing style towards the latter 3rd, etc. A lot of the scenes are also recycled and I realized I spent a lot of time just scrolling past the filler chapters. I know web authors can make money per chapter but it's just dragging on and on. Like I said, there's no real conflict between the main cast of 4, so it's just repeated scenes of fluff and snuggles.

I also don't really like how they handled MLs legs. The whole family calls him a "waste" because he can't walk... it's not a cultivation novel?? His brain and arms still work and that's essentially all he needs in his office job. And a ramp or elevator. I also don't like how author handled his recovery, thats not how it works. You don't just go to appointments for check up for a year and then they tell you it's improved and you can walk again. Also, I don't understand why every rich CEO seems to have military men on their payroll, but their equally rich fathers of uncles seem to have never thought of having any bodyguards or military hires. Like whaaat?

The two kids were adorable, but they don't act like a normal 5 or 6 year old. I understand why adult!Leyu would be ruthless, but I don't understand how child!Leyu can have such mu*derous thoughts as a 5 year old that was surrounded by parental love up until their accident and is still loved and cared by his uncle right after. Three fact that throughout the entire novel it seems like the kids only have each other as friends is also highly concerning rather than cute. <<less

This is the best GREEN FLAG Family I've ever read in my life!!!!!! I just don't want it to end at this point but it ended ಥ⁠_⁠ಥ

Now I need the Sequel!!!!! I badly needed it!!!! I wanna see my babies all grown up and being together again in their adult version!!

To be honest, the beginning of this story started a little weak... MC suddenly transmigrated into villain's body, and immediately declared love + got married.

This is actually quite normal considering the genre of this story (Romance Transmigration things).

However the things that make its weird and weak for the plot is because MC just transmigrated not long after the original body owner saying something that insulted ML.

The way ML just let it all go and didn't seem to care about all of the drastic change that MC have is also very... more>> contradictory with his IQ abilities.

Meanwhile for the plagiarism issue, I don't think it needs to be explained further because this story was published long before the story which is said to be similar was published.

There are also some people who say that the author is bad at depicting normal children... which is actually not 100% true, the reason why the two little children in the story don't seem like normal children is because they weren't normal from the start. <<less

Not a terribly bad novel but a relatively draggy one. Perhaps it is my bad for not noticing the "slice-of-life" tag but after having read a few of this author's other works, I don't think the tag matters because this author's writing is lengthy on it's own. Couldn't bring myself to finish the extras as they are way too draggy.

Honestly, I hated the beginning of the novel. For some reason this author loves to have their MC spout nonsense, which the ML will accept because they are intrigued by their... more>> behavior. Personally I find it quite insulting to the MLs IQ because... are they that gullible? The pattern is almost always the same it's ridiculous. Also, their MCs are always in the showbiz like can they not do anything else? I had to point out the similarities because it feels like the MCs have the same personality across all their novels.

The "he's the cure for my insomnia" trope is also pretty boring in this setting because it feels somewhat forced. Some of the conflicts are childish especially the part regarding MC's scum dad. I understand the author wanting the MC's dad to get his deserts but the way it is handled is so silly. Not much to say about the romance as it is not bad but also nothing memorable.

Although I have many bad things to say about this novel, the parts that are good did touch my heart. The MC is not bad per se, aside from his questionable behavior at the start of the novel. I actually liked how he interacted with the kids and how perceptive he is towards their feelings. The kids are the best part of this novel without a doubt. I loved the way the author depicted their emotional growth and how they slowly became a true family. Lin Fei is probably my favorite. He is reticent, smart and mature for his age but still lovable and child-like in his own way.

This would probably be a good read for readers who like childcare novels and/or those who have yet to read any of this author's novels as the plot will still feel fresh. I think reviewer hy-d-ra summed this up pretty well so you can read their review for more details! <<less

Gosh what a journey it’s been. At the very beginning the story was a bit childish but I continued because it was humorous. Slowly, as the plot matured, I really enjoyed it. It was extremely heartwarming and didn’t follow the cliche face slapping stuff. I loved that the author also focused on building the relationship between the family. The extras were extremely fluffy, but the very last two extras hit me right in the gut. I loved it and I wish there was more. I really like this author novels, however when I reached ch 200 in this novel in particular I suddenly get tired of to much round around.

The story is good, a bit cliche, but good... the only drawback I found is that it may be too slow to get to the important parts of the plot.

It took me some time to finish reading this so I already forgot what review I should write hahahaha but it was a good read

I like both MC and ML, they are not boring and both are funny in their own way. Its quite nice that they started with full of bullshits about like each other but ended up really liking each other hahahaha. They provide too much sugar that I felt like having diabetes lol.

Both babies are super cute. Although not perfect, they are still the best babies. They... more>> are good on their own way even with their own respective flaws. Xiao Yu can actually still be cleansed with right guidance and it's already showing with FeiFei around.

The main story revolves around how they solidify their foundation as a family and how they work hard to gain their peace. Although there's a mix of entertainment industry its not much, only on the extras. I also find it cute how wholesome every crew MC shoot with except for that one creepy old man. Just a little sad because the side characters are not highlighted much and the villains are quite dumb though a little interesting.

Quite draggy but not much. I also really like the extra about the OG Feifei and OG Xiao Yu of the book meeting our little babies in their dream then finally going to be together. <<less

This novel is a bit long so if you're willing to spend your time reading 340 plus chapters then this one's for you. The first part is a slow relationship build up between the MC and ml. Then the middle and last parts showed their relationship with their children.

The story starts with the MC transmigrating to a novel he read. The novel has an unhinged villain who became obsessed with the girl protagonist and kidnapped her. Then was defeated by the striking male protagonist. Our MC transmigrated into the novel... more>> when the villain was still a child. He occupied the body of a cannon fodder who insultingly refused the proposal of the young villain's crippled uncle. That crippled uncle is our ml. The young villain heard the insulting words so he vowed to take revenge on the cannon fodder. After the villain grew older, he made this cannon fodder literally marry a dog. Now, when the MC transmigrated, the cannon fodder just insulted the young villain's uncle/our ml. Since the transmigrated MC knows the unfortunate result of this insult, he scrambled to salvage the situation and agreed to marry the young villain's uncle/our ml. And that's the start of the story. Fyi, you might think that it's weird why the uncle proposed to the cannon fodder but you'll know the reason why he did that later in the story. The uncle might look like a bit of a weakling but he's actually very intelligent and has schemes of his own. He'll gradually show his ml-ness.

The core theme of the story is family. The novel showed how the MC and ML started to develop their feelings for each other and how their very unusual children started to heal their wounds from the experiences they had. The two kids are very interesting because they are polar opposites. As the story progresses, they slowly started to trust each other.

The two kids are: Lin Feiyu who is the nephew of the cannon fodder. He was abused and beaten by the cannon fodder up until the MC transmigrates to the novel. He's a passive but extremely sensitive child who let things flow over him. He's also extremely smart and figured out Ji Leyu's (the young villain) homicidal and sociopathic tendencies early in the novel. The second kid is, Ji Leyu or is often called "little fish" or the "fish" bec of the character in his name. He's the "villain" of the novel that the MC read. At a very young age, he's already shown sociopathic tendencies. A good example of this was when he shoved a cousin of some sorts, who insulted his uncle, into a pond and watched him struggle as he slowly drowns. He did save him after scaring the kid to death. Then, he used his cuteness and pure image to manipulate adults in his family to think it was not his fault but the other kid's. He often uses his facade of good boy to his advantage and can be very clever about his crimes. Lin Feiyu later curbed his twisted tendencies and he became more subdued. He's very protective of his uncle but gradually included Lin Feiyu and the MC into his small bubble of family he feels he needs to protect.

I like the story because it's a gradual process of building relationships. It might be longer than other novels but it's satisfying how the characters grow and develop. I particularly like the two kids because they're not normal. They're very different from kids people usually read in these kinds of novels or even kids of their age. At the end of the story, everything had it's closure and the author had a great way of tying the lose ends. It's just I feel like the last extras, when they were in the reality show, only showed the good comments of the audience and not the sunspots. It felt more hurried than the other parts of the story. <<less

Soo cute~ I like this kind of family story. Not so much drama, looks like a family in my dream. I like the main cp as well as their cubs. So sweet and lovely. I'm still waiting for another fanwai of this novel. Usually, I don't like to waiting the upcoming fanwai. But for this one, I can. It mean, this story is very good yow

Never would've thought I'd read on going wn.

The progress of their day to day lives were looong. Entering 103, MC just finished his 1st acting work, suceess in taming his nephew, his step son, conned his scum father and step mom, and half success with his marital bed scene lol Not so much problem from ML's enemies?family yet. I'm abt to nod off if things just stable with no friction like this

I haven't read all the extras but in general I really liked the story. The main was entertaining. At times I found myself laughing and at others times I would tear up. I liked the plot and characters. I usually dislike if the plot revolves around children but this author made it work really well and stayed focused on the actual CP. Having said that I kept thinking the kids were much older than they actually were. There are mature and quiet kids with high IQ but I was forced... more>> each time to remind myself that they were only 5 or 6. The way they spoke, acted and thought it felt they were at least 16 or 17...

The story was interesting with things happening but the extras seemed to be overwhelmingly full of fluff and the MC and ML were so OP I just thought it was tiny bit over the top.

Still I would recommend the main story. <<less

300+ chapters made me wonder if I can really persist till the end but yes I did! This novel felt very heartwarming and cute. I would expect more 'dramas' but it mainly talked about revenge at the very start, the slow buildup of the MC and ML's relationship, and how they come together as a family to heal and love each other. Super cute and sweet. Full of fluff even at the beginning of the novel when they were only together in name. Our MC too is super cute and... more>> loving. I even wonder how he can care and love so much at times.

The babies were especially adorable. I couldnt help cooing at them in every single episode they appear because they are just that cute. One thing that is a little lacking is that there are alot of repetitions like how they wake up, eat then go to bed. Of course I dont mind reading about their day to day life but it does feel a little like fillers to extend the story. But overall I really love it! It made me feel happier while reading it. <<less

I could only read it upto chapter 190 cause I can't seem to access the original translation website which is sad.

Fun read without being annoying. The leads aren't invincible and have to really work hard to achieve a happy family though the MC's acting skill was really questionable. I like that they both basically used each other as shield but never took each other for granted. The MC's original body abused Lin Fei as a kid for about 6 months to the point that the kid had bruises on his had which the MC tries to play off as his way of love which was huge red flag. I wanted to drop the story when it came but I don't mind the final resolution which felt like a clean way to write / explain. MC tells Lin fei the truth about his transmigration and that the person who abused him was his real uncle and that it was the wrong thing to do. I felt this was the only correct resolution to tell the kid to not be fooled by someone who abuses you and then claims it as love.

One of my fav author! Seriously u can't go wrong with this author. The story full of dialogue no useless inner monologue, the perfect amount of humour, perfect amount of angst, perfect amount of romance between MC n ML n perfect amount of the children's appearance n perfect plot details. I delay reading this because long ago I read review smone said it's focus only on the child, uhm maybe we r reading different story ???? It's not the case at all!! R u blind or r u blind ??... more>> The focus on MC n ML still there okay~ their romance n witty chatter all there n their kids focus also perfectly balance !! Also thank u to translator, great translation really appreciate it thank u so much (* ´ ▽ ` *) ﾉ

My most favourite moment probably near the end where all family of 4 attending the variety show. I love it !! <<less
