As someone who is very hesitant about reading transmigration/rebirth novels (because they hardly hook me on with a few exceptions), I really enjoyed this one. It was fast-paced, romantic, and well-written.

What I liked the most about this book was the protagonist. Gu Bai is a character whom one can call the 'hero'. He's calculative, smart, and can sustain on his own. He is very interesting to read which is probably the reason one would be hooked to this plot until the end.

The plot and the individual arcs themselves are quite... more>> well made. Even though there were quite a few plotholes and incomplete side stories and characters in each arc, they can be overlooked most of the time.

The ML is not really the most morally capable person out there and has a lot of downfalls - he's overbearing, very possessive, very domineering, clingy, etc - but the MC likes him that way so there isn't much that we can complain about.

Overall, it was an engaging read, and though not the best page-turner, it served its purpose. <<less

I normally don't give reviews but, I can't help it. I really love this novel (one of my fav list now), I really like each arc especially the arc 4 (he became a cute doggy), Arc 5 (he became cute clingy zombie) I laugh to tears really and also arc 6? (Where he's in a game in virtual world).

I really love how the development going until the end, where I can follow how the MC and ML love journey will be. This is a masterpiece (though I want each arc... more>> to be separated into a long novel, but still).

At first I just thought it's a bit interesting to read, so I just put in first in my list for later (Cause theres so many waiting in list too 😅) but, I regret a bit I didn't read it the moment I laid my eyes on it but I still glad I found this multi-world novel. It led me to different worlds but amazing stories (though its short). <<less

It's really a fun read to me. Even it is short but each world for me is exciting and the mystery behind MC existence just makes me more addicted reading this. The fact that this transmigration is not bounded by a system hooked me up. I don't particularly like the plot where the system keep on telling what to do and not to do. Overall, I really recommend reading this for a quick romance.

I also recommend this book for those who need a story to overcome the reader's block!

Straight-up fun read.

What is obvious is also obvious to the MC so there are very few moments of frustration for readers, as characters are not dense.

MC also has great character development and having an MC that doesn't go tsundere for no reason and is open and free about how he feels about the ML was a breath of fresh air.

The arcs are fun and MC doesn't just leave everything to the ML and works hard.

Satisfactory end as well, and good lore about the whole transmigration set-up.

Pros :

MC is kinda scum and funny. It's 1v1 and the past between MC and ML is interesting. MC is a puppet and ML is a demon general. Their relationship is sooo cute. Puppet MC is very naive and demon ML have no problems eating MC's tofu.

The translation is okay. Each arcs are quite short.

Cons :

The arcs isn't really interesting to me, some plot holes here and there. Got bored of it.

So the first time I tried reading this I couldn't get past the first chapter and dropped it. However, I put it on my to read list because I figured when I was bored I could read a page or two. Yesterday, I saw the reviews on the book, and decided to give it another change. It hasn't even been a full 24 hours and I've read the whole thing. It was such an amazing story. I'm about to go back and re-read it now that I know the spoilers.... more>> I only wish it could be longer! My favorite chapter has to be when MC gets revenge for the original who was used as a substitute and the ML is a prince. <<less

Definitely get the vibes of Game Loading, which is also one of the bl romances I liked reading. Although they have similarities they def still have their own uniqueness and differences.

I read it long ago but wasn't finish then go back and read it again and still have a pleasant feeling re reading so it's really a good book for me. The translations group doing a good job both sites, thank you for spending your time and braincell published this article

So the MC is pretty much a heartless guy, is invited to do task or die :) and ML is really peerless op character (that's why our MC holding his thigh since day 1 lol)

I don't think the... more>> tasks are that memorable but you see how MC grew as in character from just thick skin for the task --> thick skin in expressing love.

I like how one want to kept and one willing to be kept. This couple is perfect match.

I impatiently waiting for the ending though :))

I just went to jinjiang to see the raw then saw such a heartbreaking news that the article is locked cause the plagiarism accusation but I don't understand Chinese so I don't really know what the source of plagiarised. But author already stop published anymore novel. So sad I think she lost the fire to write anymore.

The most satisfying ending I have ever read in QT novels.. REALLY!! I never expect MC's origin. Of all the little clues and hints, I never guess it.. And I thought ML is kind of righteous Immortal but he's not.

It was conincidental how MC partake the world hopping mission though.

I felt conflicted about the emperor he first chose not to embrace his love but then......... never mind, after all he is "no good man".

Love can make someone irrational to the point of insanity that woman character is very pitiful but frustrating. I really can't question her as I don't feel that kind of love.

Read till' the end. You won't regret it😊

It was Really Wonderful!!!

Some people might not like the first arc. But seriously, just keep going!!! It get Absolutely Interesting in every arcs!!!

Especially the Zombie arc!!! Epic and Adorable!!! I would never expect that!!!

Both MC and ML is really Great characters! At first maybe they don't seems to be likable, but like I said, it gets better and better! And the Plot is thickened!!!

MC and ML have been separated for thousands of years, yet they still found each other?! MCs unfeeling puppet heart once again beats for the mls domineering devil aura and soul??! MC fell hard for ML and excluding the obsession for each other (which is also kinda endearing in its own way), they are so cute together in the mission worlds hhaha. Their love just run so deep through their souls.

In the beginning it can seem like fluffy, simple story.

But damn.

The last part of the story!

... more>> For the end I will give it 5*. Good job, author, I haven't seen that coming. ^^ Beside that - characters were fairy good. ML was overbearing and too controling, dependent on MC and jealous for my taste, but in the light of the ending it makes sense (contrary to other works that just use the trope). MC was clever and funny. I liked him very much.

The first arcs were good and witty, later ones were good but more like background for the main plotline. Kind of silence before storm (last part of the story). Protagonists were travelling throught different (stories and) worlds which presented favourite strorylines usually used in this genre (quick transmigration). Good work, not the best, but I had fun.

It was good story, most of the time not brilliant but not bad. The end was great. There were few things I was not happy with - some serious stuff was taken too lightly (yeah, I mean rxpx and similar things) and the relationship between protagonists was no way healthy - but in the light of the ending!

Just love it. The end. *Laugh* <<less

I FINALLY FOUND A NOVEL SIMILAR TO QWTFOD!!! BLESS!! I'm halfway through and I already shed some tears (a lot) at some of the arcs! You wouldn't guess the depth of the novel bc the summary is like the tip of the iceberg and I was pleasantly surprised. Although it is similar to QWTFOD, there aren't any unnecessary face-slapping (although I DO like that premise in some novels hehe), the villains (former protags) all get what they deserved and it's immensely satisfying. If you're looking for smut though... sorry to... more>> say but you'll get blue-balled. It's up to the audiences' imagination bc they cut to the next scene right before papapa. That's my only grievance LOL. Of course not every arc is as good as some, but they're all quite enjoyable for me. Must read for QWTFOD fans!! <<less

Wow like the depth of this... it's awesome! I love how Gu Bai slowly develops his romance and thinks about his task seriously first and then his man. Their mysterious backstories.. owo I can't wait to find out.

ML aka Ye Cang is considered a madman in the Ninth Heaven (sounds like their original world) while Gu Bai apparently split souls or something. One half of him is in slumber as mysterious characters panic over his revival. The other half is our MC, the heartless orphan who died and was selected by a master (not a system!) to complete tasks in order to recover his soul enough to reincarnate. ML in each world is the same, they're actually split from Ye Cang across the worlds. Each arc basically goes like: Original host exchanges soul for MC to complete their wish>MC completes task + romances his man>soul solidifies in mission space>a mini-ML from the world just completed appears and merges with original ML aka Ye Cang.

The descriptions are amazing. I like that MC doesn't look the same or enforces his name each time, it comes out naturally somehow. The various arcs each have their unique flavor while also hinting along the way about the main overarching plot (cool foreshadowing!!). I also love that MC and ML don't always have the same exact personalities each time (ik it's the worlds lol but it's just refreshing from constantly iceberg MLs). The arc length varies too which is fun and doesn't make it boring. And the fact that MC doesn't necessarily NEED ML pfft- *clap clap clap* hell yeah!

Gave me FOD vibes. I love the character growth of Bai.

Usually, golden thigh stories take away from the plot. You know what I mean.

MC meets ML. Love at first sight. ML is da big boss, day golden thigh. MC hugs golden thigh. Story is resolved, but other characters feel useless, and the plot plain.

This story goes in a different direction.

I like the posesive gong. And the arc.

It just lag I closing and seems many loose end in the plot of the arc.
