It started off well. Loved the storyline and the relationship between the MC and ml. Kinda got boring from chapter 40 onwards. It felt the author was dragging the plot just for the sake of it.

An okay mpreg novel, not bad but could have been better.

5 stars only for the story and not the tl. Story was really nice and fluffy. Loved both the main and side cps (i need more of the side cps pls). But the tl was really really bad and honestly turned my brain to mush.

This novel actually has a potential for a pleasant light read. The interaction between MC & ML is quite cute. The plot is kinda cliche & lack of story building, but I don't really mind it because I take this novel as a refresher / break from all those heavy plot novels I've been reading these past few weeks. Up to here, I can give this novel 4⭐. But the translation quality affected the reading experience quite a lot. I can barely enjoy the novel. Hence, why I gave 3⭐.... more>> The translation by White Cat is actually good enough for me, but sadly they only translated for a few chapters. <<less

I think this is the first I'm rating a novel to two stars!

Firstly I appreciate the translator but the translation is really hard to understand and that's another reason I'm dropping it midway. I rarely drop midway as I always kind of feel 'let's see how it goes' but this time the story is not engaging enough and to top it off the translation is not good.

The MC's pregnancy is not Justified in my opinion? Like how the hell he's having two more organs is normal?

His acceptance of him being... more>> pregnant is also quite abrupt... And others accepting a MALE giving birth is also quite weird? I just didn't feel it good!

Too wordy... some things are repeated over and over to the point of being annoying... I had have high hopes because of the name and summary of the novel but alas... <<less

This novel is truly underrated (3.5) !! And I guess it is partly because of the translation. Romance was really fluffy and super great!!!

Yes, the translation is of the level MTL+, but nonetheless I am very grateful to the translator as in any other story. Otherwise I would not have found this novel. I was able to figure out the correct pronouns, whether it should be he/she/me or them.

Premise: MC goes on a cruise trip and gets drugged by friends. MC has a beautiful face and is often lusted... more>> after. ML saved him in the elevator when MC calls for help and was almost dragged away by predator. ML takes care of him, asks for doctor etc but MC begs him to spend the night with him. They spend the remaining days of the cruise trip together and split up after that. MC soon after finds out he is pregnant. As soon as ML finds out, he refuses to let him go and convinces MC.

This story is not abo world. MC has both male and female reproductive organs (hermaphrodite) and was shocked to death.

POSITIVE

1. No heavy plot, very ordinary, but that doesn't mean it wasn't great!! The plot is almost like those Harlequin/Mill & Boons pocket novels that you buy at airports LMAO. The romance was really good in this story. ML is a wife s*ave, henpecked husband, but not in a cheesy way. This story was all about their relationship, their kids and family life. The pregnancy period was beautiful, fluffy doting husbands, but not exaggerated.

2. CP. Their interactions were very mature, natural, super fluffly. Romance is 100% satisfying here! Also, they get together from the beginning.

MC is in junior year of college. He is a part time live streamer (playing games and later on carving clay figures). ML is around 10y older than MC. But unlike many other stories where age difference automatically led to a MC that shows young behavior and ML a father like role, MC and ML didnt give this vibe at all. MC as a college student regularly hangs out with his college friends and ML often joins them.

3. 'going public'.

LOVED how MC and ML never hide their relationship. Immediately after they become a couple (very early in the story) they would just tell honestly that is my BF/husband/kid, also in MCs live streams, whenever someone asks them about it. It happens so naturally and it also shows how much they loved eachother. And because they bring it so honestly and naturally there weren't these exaggerated dramas following. Their relationship just felt so peaceful and wholesome. MC would often bring out his super cute baby with him on his dates with (college) friends.

NEGATIVE

1. Mentioned before... Translation isn't best. But even then, the romance was SUPER satisfying!

2. Till chapter 20 or so at least once or twice in every chapter is mentioned that ML is the richest man of the province. It is even used as an adjective LMAO. It gives the writing amateurish feeling. Same as also describing ML as the robot like workaholic. Writing style gets better after 20 chapter orso (or maybe the translation gets better after 20 chapters)

3. Same comment as above, but now wrt MC. He is too many times described as incredibly beautiful, turning heads of male and female etc.

4. I wasnt too interested in the side couple. I only read their start and the ending. Their story was slowburn (side couple MC was straight at beginning) and I anticipated a tedious, frustrating progress. Whilst I was immersed in the lovely, fluffy story of the main couple. So I skipped most of side couple chapters. I cannot tell if that story is good.

5. Another novel where every ones smokes, except for MC. Bleh... Chinese still see smoking as badass, cool behavior. *Sigh* <<less

I just want to say where is the extra tho?💀

I feel incomplete😭

Anyway, through the whole main story. I love it! It's so fluffy and cozy except that I just can't understand it sometimes due to different pronouns and some repeated words. Also grammar errors here and there but I'm grateful that I have this exceptional talent to comprehend and understand what kind of message that the author is trying to tell the readers.

I read a lot of novels here, and I learned that having a low rating doesn't mean it's a shitty story. So I always give it the benefit of the doubt, but this one really makes me agree with every review I've read here: the story's bland, the translation sucks, character development is confusing for the most part, and the pregnancy, I tell you. MC action and thoughts are contradicting. He's a type of person who doesn't want to have relationship yet especially if its involved with s*xual stuff. Coz he's not ready yet, even if he want to have relationship there's a bottom line and yet after he got drugged by his so called friends. His so called bottom line are collapsing, him getting h**ny coz of aphrodisiacs drugged. He ask the ML to get helped instead to wait for the doctor. I get that he can't be fully sober and yet some... more>> thought of him are clear headed that's so contradicting action. He's aware that ML is a stranger and yet he trust the ML asap instead be guarded and wait for a doctor. MC is s*upid.

MC become a h**ny thoughts person after experiencing of s*xual stuff. Wanting to end up with ML and not wanting him because of their differences 😃 ML is so easy to fall too. I like that ML is good and kind yet the way he act the next day. He give a goodnight kiss the MC whereas they are not a lover. That's a s*xual harassment and yet s*upid MC is ok about that coz he's already having a d*ck mind, I mean loving the ml. The next day too the ML put him on his lap acting kissing him while everyone is around. The MC act he doesn't like it and yet its contradicting to whats happening.

the story of 1 to 5 is involve to how pretty handsome the MC is, that's why everyone who looks at him are having a lust toward him.

how MC is so f*cking easy to fall person just like MC and MC contradicting action and thoughs and ML is lowkey s*xual harassment type of person but because they are both protagonist so its fine to act like that coz they will end up anyway and they both like have a thing for each other.

ML and MC entering the story are like"wow the start are interesting and promising"but after knowing them when they did the deed and their interaction my expectations dropped down to negatively. <<less

Actually I was very interested with this story at first; however, I have no choice but to drop this at some point because of the translation. It was like I was reading a MTL story, it was so hard to understand. I tried giving this a second chance but what I got was a headache instead. I really hope there will be a better translation of this story.

the plot is lighthearted with a little bit of dramas here and there. actually, if u read a lot of manhwa/hua, you'll realize that there are stories with similar plots like this but I have nothing against those kind of plots especially the tropes that I like, it's a good read when you're stressed out.

I honestly don't want to say anything bad about the translator. But clearly, this is just an MTL that was changed a little bit here and there (or not at all). There is no essence in the story, it's like reading like a robot and I almost fell asleep reading it. I wanted to know the ending so I read it until the end. I'll give a 4/5 to the story but the translation made it go down to 3/5.

First of all I wish there was a better translation my head feels like mush.

As far as the story goes this is a light fluffy story with few bumps on Cheng Yang and She Yan’s relationship road. There weren’t many up and downs once Cheng Yang and She Yan got together. Although the story started with a dark approach of Cheng Yang almost being r*ped by a sleazy executive, once he met She Yan he pretty much didn’t suffer (except for giving birth).

I liked how there weren’t many misunderstandings between the two. Cheng Yang wasn’t even able to hide his pregnancy for very long and accepted She Yan rather quickly. The family of 5 was super sweet and She Yan was a considerate ML especially since he even got a vasectomy. The conservative family drama unexpectedly didn’t come from the rich father in law, I liked how he was open minded of his son falling for a man.

I loved the main cp, the side cp Hong Zhan and Zidian just felt a bit pointless especially since Hong Zhan basically forced Zidian to be with him.

In the beginning Hong Zhan told Zidian that he would pursue him and if Zidian didn’t accept him after 6 months he would accept the rejection. Zidian just let it be and told Hong Zhan he was straight. The truth was no matter Zidian’s decision he was Hong Zhan’s person. Hong Zhan turned out to be a bit of a scum bag. If anything Hong Zhan just highlighted She Yan’s good qualities. After all the only time She Yan got mad at Cheng Yang was when Cheng Yang wasn’t spending enough time at home.

The story was good, but suddenly turn monotons in the middle after their mirrage. Just daily activities even the honemoon arc is quate random and boring, idk if it's the original or translation.

Fortunetly there still 2nd couple story so I didn't dropped it

Okay novel, your typical OP ML rescues beautiful MC, though a bit difficult to read due to the translation.

It's very slice-of-life. If you read this genre in BL, there are really no surprises. Esp all the parts with the MC hanging out with the rich and famous. There's even a kind of livestream arc where internet drama and celeb drama happens.

It's probably a trope in the genre at this point where the MC gets to show off his SO's wealth/power and there will always be random side characters lusting after... more>> him or challenging them so the reader can "feel good."

Mpreg was ok, kind of the weird thing that CN culture has where you have to have kids/progeny in order to be viewed as a "winner" of life. So ML gets the jealousy of his peers because he finally got a kid.

Around the middle after the main leads get together, the story got a lot less interesting.

Not a huge fan of the side couple, a bit noncon/dubcon in the chasing, some r*pey feels left a distaste. Author also defaults to BL tropes with no originality. "Top" is always richer, taller, stronger, and older than the "bottom." Yawn.

While I appreciate the translator trying to bring us the novel, it starts off extremely literal and essentially devolves into a mix of barely edited MTL, becoming very difficult to read. I recommend MTL'ing this yourself as you might actually understand more that way. <<less

I think MC is not an innocent little white rabbit he is just a naive fox and the writer made him like a pure white lotus has perfection while ML he is full of holes in his brain "love at first sight" oh.. BS. I understand why this novel has a bad rating too many flaws in the plot even though I was expecting a soft and furry story but the author made no sense, I can't continue reading this

The story is a very mellow straight perfect romance type of story. For the story I only can give 3stars but I really appreciate the translator. ML is supper sweet and super pampering MC. The story really not bad but it's just very relaxing not much happening kinda story (and alot of pampering and perfect happily ever after). (And it's should be keep a bit short) If you want something to relax in this is the story. Thank you

Fluffy and cute story, not much conflict. By chapter 30ish to 40ish, the story seemed finished already and every chapter after that feels like that extra epilogue stuff. I struggled to finish it because it feels like there's not much to the story after then, but still continued through since this is a short one. Good read if you want something fluffy, short and straightforward.
