Its a good novel if want a quick to reading of a lovey doves story. The story mainly force on the MC and ML and little bit of SC. It was well balance characters.

I kind of wish it was more deep into the MC job and ML job. It just talk but not details. The story was mostly about sns drama gossip rumors on Weibo. Also would been good if was smut. I guess to sum it up more idea for teen novels

I haven't written a review before, but I really want to write one for this novel. It was simply amazing, everything I wanted. Female lead was clever and cute while male lead was pampering.

This story is a all in one package for me a cute, sweet, interesting, a bit hot and with no unnecessary stuff plot line. I will probably read this again and again, and recommend to anyone who like a cute relaxing story with no useless misunderstanding to not doubt it and go for... more>> it.☺😍 <<less

I really love this one. Maybe there is something doesn’t add up say the ML’s age and such.. But it is quite normal for a Chinese novel.

I really like the MC. She is quite optimistic. I like this kind of a character. ML is super nice too.

Overall the story is not toxic. There are some villains but they don’t have much of a chance.

highly recommended.

Wonderful Novel with Wonderful Translation!!!

Our MC is truly Amazing and Lovable!!! As in She's Badass and won't easily back away when people being s*upid and Persistent as Flea or Villain! She will talk back or literally slap people!! Satisfying when she literally slap people!!!

But our MC is not Perfect nor OP. There's something she can't do. And it would be the most Heartbreaking moment in this novel. (There's debates in the comment sections)

Anyway, great story line except the most Heartbreaking part. Wonderful ML for always Supporting her as much... more>> as he can. But he also know what she capable, so while he spoil and dotes her, he didn't 'baby-ing' her. But some readers apparently didnt get ML's character and MC's understanding and strong personality.

Anyway, truly Wonderful Novel. Lots of Fluff and some Faceslapping! I'm Absolutely Loving it!!! <<less

I'm a reader who mainly reads BL but this BG novel is just too entertaining. No useless female lead, no redundant face-slapping, no awkward love relations, no act-cute scenes.

I love our FL and ML. Love at first sight but it's so entertaining !! Length of novel is really appropriate.

Two leads falling madly in love with each other. Best!

I enjoyed this novel and the relationship between the MC and ML. However, I just can't stand all the drama and how most of the antagonists are just a bunch of sluts. Their bad ending also wasn't very satisfying, but I guess it's hard to do that with only 68 chapters to work with.

A light read you can finish in one sitting. It doesn't really have any drama and everything is fairly straightforward. I'd say the author did a good job at not crucifying the female charas, even the cannon fodder ones, for no rsn, and the ones who did get a bad outcome were themselves quite serious wrong doers. That said there is 2 things to majorly watch out for, namely the ED and the ableism. The casual ED is pretty insidious and it's written rather thoughtlessly, and by that I mean... more>> MC has ED that is not only encouraged but also forced on her by her agent\friend. ED depictions in question are calorie counting mention, growing guilt at the thought of eating at all, buying food but only eating one teaspoon and throwing the rest, considering 57kg fat, intense exercise coupled with near or absolute starvation. <<less

I so love this so much. I cried and laughed out loud in the same days. It was a delight. Su Yi and Chu Ying no matter how short this story, was made three dimensional. I cried for SuYi like I found a sister I was happy for living the life I wanted.

All in all, I just had regrets for their proposal.

The best part of this all is the female lead who is very confident within her own skin. It inspires me so much confidence too.

Definitely a worthwhile read if you’re into lots of pampering, showbiz, & nonproblematic romance. TL is also phenomenal! I’d say my only nitpick would be navigating through the chapters but I persevered.

Story is super cute & although it doesn’t have anything saucy, I’ve enjoyed the romance between the main CP. For one, there’s no misunderstandings upon misunderstandings when developing their relationship despite being a showbiz setting. There’s no dense protagonist or male lead. These two are grown adults & they know fully well what they want. I also LOVE the... more>> MC- holy sh*t she is so awesome. She’s spunky written right, I’ll tell you that.

Probably one of my favorite contenders for good & straightforward showbiz BG romance novels here <<less

There's no conflict. No climate to the story. The description is deceptive.

It was it seemed as if he had resistant to dating her. No he was into her from early on. There's no sense of 'will they or won't they get together AT ALL. She also never stopped accepting villianess role. Like it wasn't even part of the plot.

Put this off because the summary wasn’t that interesting but the top review said that it didn’t do the story justice which led me to give it a go...

... And ended up binging it through the night. It hit all the tropes that I didn’t even realise I enjoyed and the relationship was one that was mature, with no unnecessary jealousy or drama.

I love this romance novel. FL and ML have good head on their shoulder. Great story in Entertainment Circle WITHOUT Rebirth/transmigration/ect...

She serious both in career and relationship and anything that doesn't concerns her, she's too lazy to care. I don't know how to describe her personality but I thing refreshing best suited for her. I think what I like the most is that the flow and development of their relationship. Nothing rush and I love that ML was not over bearing and unreasonable CEO. Really interesting. I loved this novel for many reasons, but most of all because the FL truly enjoyed their s*x life. I don't like when the FL seems to feel nothing but pain and thankfully this author did not go that route. I'm going to read more of their work

i like how it started off as the FL chasing the ML. Although it quickly developed it wasn't uncomfortable. I felt that the problem with her family could have been explored more. But all in all it was a fun read.

Very cute and fluffy adult romance~ I really like how smooth and fast their relationship went uwu

I like the personality of both leads. The FL was very straightforward and frank and had an I-don't-care attitude towards things that doesn't matter to her. She also likes taking the initiative in their relationship and doesn't go wishy-washy about her thoughts towards ML. ML was very gentle and supportive of FL behind her back. He is still a beast in bed though lololololol. He also gets jealous and is extremely vengeful towards people... more>> who try to harm FL. I really like how he follows FL's decisions but also would always try to protect her by being with her if he could.

As much as there were a bunch of pesky villains hovering around them, they weren't much of a problem since ML and FL completely trust each other. I was also worried that ML's family wouldn't like FL for her villainess roles in dramas, but I'm glad that worry was unfounded. At first, it felt a bit off that FL would go crazy in love with ML at first sight

until later on, it was revealed that ML saved her when she was a lot younger and she has always remembered ML since then

The translation is very good! It doesn't fail miserably in either the grammar or composition department.

The story line is just perfect with the right amount of cuteness, comedy, face-slaps and perversity.

The MC is so cute! I love her! She is just the kind of protagonist that has her priorities straight, usually she is just a cute little bun, but when it comes down to work her professionalism deserves applouse. Her love life is also worth an applause, and some whistles!

The ML is at first a fish a face, but what... more>> can be done when you stand in front of a stranger, no? His sweetness just grows as the story progresses, that deserves a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ alone.

Many have already spoken about their disagreements about the MC's nephew's death in the story. So here, I'm trying to reason, in hope, to make you new readers read it despite that. :)


While many of them had already talked about what she could have done to get her nephew's custody right, it was explained that it wasn't possible. She had already tried to do this once, but then she was just a young girl who had just started her life and a young child's statement, who was also born defected to boot, wouldn't have been able to convince the authorities to give the MC the custody rights.

And if you'd think that "But she now has money, fame and she's also and an adult now!" But, even if she is an adult now with enough money to support herself, her sister won't let her get her way. As long as MC's sister has her son she will get support from MC, so she won't ever give up on him. If the authorities have to step in then MC will need evidence of the abuse, and that's why it was said in the story that the sister got more clever cause she didn't abuse him any longer and just ignored him.

And if you now dare to say that "Then why didn't she bear with the sister and brought her with her son to her house?"

She was a celebrity whose house who knows when paparazzi crowds will break in. She also had haters who even dared to go violent and having her weakness within reach of those hyenas in the industry was just asking them to use it against her. With these conditions, a trustworthy person to look after him was impossible to find.
