past the first initial few days following her rebirth her memory regresses until she can only remember 2-3 years in the future. This gives her an edge as she relives life but also removes her huge foreknowledge cheat. It allows her and her friend to grow into a romantic relationship they never had the first time around. The world building and descriptions of our ML’s various genius inventions and villainous shenanigans (he legit broke the world in their first life) are unrealistic but the author does a good job seducing you into ignoring your disbelief.

The only thing that Im really disturb is one of the extras which the 19 yr old Bei Yao (I really dont know if she knows that she is reincarnated or its different world) into Satans world (Pei Chuan 2). The thing is she really gave up Pei Chuan in her own world where he is in prison to Satan because she like him. I dont think she love him thus she pity him. Unconditional love, really what happen.

Such and addicting and wonderful story. I practically jump of joy whenever there is a chapter update. Excellent translation. You can see the care they take with every chapter. Thank you for bringing us this wonderful story. Can't wait to see how the male lead earns the love of the female MC.

For someone who doesn't like angst like me, it may seems unbearable at first, there was a lot of misunderstanding and miscommunication.

The ML really think himself as the dirtiest and lowest human being in the world, but later he will also fix that negative thinking slowly with the support of MC. The ML been in his lowest state in his life, but the cute and lovely MC really doesn't mind all that and still keep supporting whatever he do as long he is happy.

I ship them two.

Then there will be... more>> character development, most of the bad character doesn't stay bad and have their own happy ending. This is what I like in any novel. <<less

I'm a bit burned out on stories which have an older woman in a child's body, but in this one, she has the memories of her past life (many written down, others as impressions of what will happen) to guide her, but she's experiencing growing up, just like she did before. She does use this cheat to help her in school, since she wasn't a good student in the past. That amuses me as a person who struggled to stay near the top of my classes but was always just... more>> a few points shy.

The author's choices in this story make it more compelling and give a feeling of the ups and downs of growing up in 90's China. There's a feeling of the main character's and the author's nostalgia overlapping and enhancing the difficult development of the romantic relationship at the heart of the story. We also get to see other character's points of view, which vary so sharply sometimes based on their personal experiences that the reader has to pause and think on it. Good stuff.

I accidentally stumbled upon this novel while searching something but I absolutely loved it. You feel how much the ML loves the MC from the book. I like how the MC gradually develops feelings for him and takes initiative so that he doesn’t stop approaching her due to inferiority. Anyway, I loved this novel to the point that I went on to read the author’s other books except the escaped of the tyrant or so.

I was bored and frustrated reading this novel. Same thing repeats itself throughout the novel: the ML being traumatized and running from the FL and the FL clinging to him. I also didn't enjoy his personality after marriage. I felt like he become even more one dimensional.

I really want to like this. I think its written well enough and at first I was sympathetic to the idea of an angry, bitter Pei chuan. I liked the idea that Bei Yao doesn't REALLY know what's going to happen in her future, but has vague ideas of what she wants to do.

I'm increasingly uncomfortable, though. As a child, Pei Chuan grabs a snake that is frightening Bei Yao. I squirmed at the descriptions of him beating it in the head with his hands until he was covered in... more>> snake blood. It was really uncomfortable.

I don't know what the author has against animals, maybe my heart is just too fragile to deal with it. It happens a few more times as he gets older. Eighteen is old enough to know better. Killing animals is serial killer behaviour.

Killing a street dog (it was barking at a child, but the way it was written was...), and endangering one of his female classmates in a way that could have easily killed her have done the final nail in the coffin. I can't do it any more. I'm too squeamish I guess. Pei Chuan accidentally suffocates a cicada in his hands, and I am afraid that is Bei Yao's future. I don't want to read it any more. <<less

it was so painful to read and the first imperfect ML I ever encountered, but I still love it. This was one of those stories that was really hard to forget. Nice reading, kudos to all the translators.

You don’t know how many times I’ve cried while reading this...

I’ll tell you know ML has a VEERRYY low sense of self esteem. I feel like ML is actually more human/realistic compared to MC actually. I really enjoyed reading since there is a lot of self reflection I felt after reading this. There is definitely a happy ending, but the journey to get there was very harsh and painful. I recommend reading this.

This was a great read for me. Instead of thinking the thought “it’s people with disabilities, ”... more>> I feel it’s more “due to a person’s environment.” The author brought up various different situations for this topic and not just a boy who has no calves. <<less

I had mixed feeling about this novel. Perhaps the author want something differrent about rebirth story. But it made me almost run out of my patient about the development of FL. What's the used of rebirth if after rebirth you not fully remembered everything. Tho perhaps the author want the FL to love the ML nkt because the past sentiment.

The opposite of most of the readers, I wasn't angry with the ML. Tho it was only a story, that kind of life was hard to accept. He still can grown... more>> up and love the FL was really something. His hard life were extreme. What I can't bear was the long progress of FL.

But I finished read it. It still a story worth to read. Tho it was angsty for me, but the ending gave both of them justice <<less

It’s a cute, slow romance between two people who grow up together. Most of the conflict is centered around the male lead and his disability. Overall it was a nice read with a happy ending. Would recommend.

dropped it... can't really stand the toxic environments..

The adult FL reborn into her younger self (primary school age), she has her memories but her minds and actions become like child instead.. She know that boy likes to bully ML but she still plays with him and share things with him, how do you expect ML to trust her..

I only read to 10ish chapter and maybe the story will develop to be better, but I really can't stand the adults, the environments.. If I'm the ML, I'll become dark like him... more>> too.. <<less

Great story and good translation. Cried and felt happy in turns. Nice to have the extras about the previous life ML’s changed outcome by the FL’s unexpected 2nd transmigration/ rebirth. We’ll done story about the possibilities in life and how different actions lead to different outcomes.
