She was reborn as Myne, the daughter of a soldier in a world where the literacy rate is low and books were scarce. No matter how much she wanted to read, there were no books around. What is a bookworm to do without any books? Make them, of course.
Her goal is to become a librarian! So that she may once again live surrounded by books, she must start by making them herself.

I'm not sure but I can pretty guess in her previous life despite being 22 years old and having questionable academic backgrounds, I guess she's from a pretty well off family. I think she focused more on those books that explain the manual behind the invention from various culture but didn't focus much on the actual social situations in particular the dark side of society. Thus her transparent inability to read between the lines.
Not gonna lie but it's clear she lived in a comfortable and protected family before she reincarnate. From the books she mentioned it sounds she read mostly inventions and fantasy light novel... she would have some common sense if she actually read classic literature (especially once from English literature that condemn those child labors, like Oliver twist, Rosso malpelo,...) which I think she didn't.
Plus from her description she sounded like she's someone who closed herself behind books completely distancing herself from interactions with other people. A shut-in. In a way, it almost cause her lack awareness towards others since from the start we can clearly see how her brain almost focused on archiving self worth while not paying much attention at her current status and her family difficulties.
She is incredibly annoying to read bc of her scandalous reactions but I think it's justified.
At the same time, it was equally questionable some of her acclaimed knowledge. Which I think is almost all over the place. I really wonder what in the world is her major. It's true some courses explained those methodical improvements and has linked course from other branch such as psychology but usually they always keep the arguments focused on its links with your main major. So yeah I was really skeptical when she blurted out she has a vast knowledge of psychology which is a pretty grand discipline (Geez, I studied it for 5 years and it wasn't even that detailed like in college but only a preparation for college).
Is it a good novel with humble and saint like protagonist? No. It's a novel featuring a girl with equally normal human traits:
- greed to make the place around her a better place ;
- selfishness let's get serious all her actions are almost all done to benefit her personal needs. Yet along the way she helped others.
- ambition.
I really want to cursed but choose not and just want to stop reading at Chapter 67. Before leaving my I review I read others review and spoilers
At CH. 2 I really wish I should have stop their when I get insulted when the MC says that how can a family let a child do manual Labor in which was only helping in the kitchen? Is that really hard even for a modern person perspective?
Maine character really pisses me off but holds on just because I wish Lutz can have his efforts turn to love on the end and here I was reading someone's Spoiler that the B**** got herseld an old man
Ohh I can't help curse out their by the way... Sorry
The very big disappointment is here at CH 67. When she already have to face the books she is searching for. Maybe she is to obsessed by books but that very obsession Disappointed me. Not only she was disrespectful to Religion she showed how s*upid she was showing all her cards only to enter that library.
From the way they portray a 22 year old woman claiming to be adult to act spoiled, clueless and very very vey from earth to the universe s*upid make me want to go their and kick her myself or rather be an antogonist and let this novel become YAOI and become Lutz partner wahahaha...
Simply the Bookworm they portrayed here feels like not a bookworm at all.
I believe bookworms are people that should not only love books but also actually read books and should been knowledgeable and full of wisdom. Someone even a merchant can't just easily beat when in terms of psychology and accounts. Not like "the bookworm that ascends' that feels like the only things she read only are novels and fairy tails.
And they even made a Anime. I wish atleast in the anime make it so Lutz have his Happy Ending, the very reason I stick to this slow pace novel.
- MC power can be her weakness
- I can relate to her going without food to read books
- The side characters are much more entertaining but is short lived
- Some areas are fleshed out well
Bad Points:
